S.W.A.T. is a police organization that is comprised of the most elite cops on SAES:RPG. It is also the longest standing gang/squad on the server, having been active since 2010. We enjoy the reputation of being the most esteemed squad, as well as having harbored some of the greatest names in SAES history. So one should take pride in joining our lines.

While some organizations' names tend to be randomized and have no solid grounds, our squad's name is inspired from its real life namesake and defines our role and purpose:
 

• S.W.A.T. - Special | We specialise in dangerous and violent situations like hostage situations, bank robberies, bomb threats, etc. Situations like these are not to be handled by normal patrol officers, instead S.W.A.T officers have the priority and responsibility to take over command of the scene.

• S.W.A.T. - Weapons | We use a variety of government-issued weapons ranging from lethal to non-lethal ones, including: M4 assault rifles, MP5 submachine guns, sniper rifles, shotguns equipped with rubber bullets to slow down fleeing suspects, taser guns and flashbangs.

• S.W.A.T. - And Tactics | We use a variety of tactics that are unique to us alone. You will not find these tactics being used by other squads as they do not have the necessary skills to execute them. We employ special tactics to make sure that we arrest perpetrators as quickly and efficiently as we can with the least civilian casualties possible, as well as minimal harm to our officers.

S.W.A.T. was founded on the 5th of May in 2010. The goal was to build up a strong and hard operating troop to bring peace to the streets of San Andreas.
The premise was that having fun has always been very important to us, because after all it is a game. Regardless, we still operated professionally and enforced the law for all players of the server.

Ghost722nd and Volk were the founding members and held the leadership for a couple of years. They tried to find nice, friendly and especially skilled recruits. The squad had a long history of cooperation with the Desert Eagles, the armed forces of San Andreas. Sometimes we conducted roleplays and provided special protection to transports and VIPs. One of our top priorities however, has always been catching highly wanted and dangerous criminals as well as intervening in bank robberies.

In June 2010 we were assigned a liaison, called Tuna. He was part of the SAES HQ team and one of the main scripters. His mission was to help us with important questions about the squad and oversee what we were doing. After Tuna had quit SAES, Martijn became our new liaison. He was a really nice guy and a good friend of ours! The future was looking bright with him at the helm.

Following a now long forgotten incident involving Volk, he had to retire from his position as co-leader of the squad, and Husky filled in as the new co-leader. Eventually, Husky retired as well and got preoccupied with real life. The squad democratically elected D-MON as their new co-leader.

In May 2011 the public spawn for the SWAT Unit was removed and we took its place, which made us the real elite of San Andreas. Furthermore, we formed alliances with different squads, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigations and MI-6, as well as the San Andreas Police Academy with which we had a unique recruitment agreement that allowed SAPA cadets to prepare for SWAT membership while they were still part of SAPA. The goal was to seize more control and influence over all departments to make a better organized police team.

D-MON retired from SWAT to join SAES and became a SWAT liaison instead, for a short while Bambook took up the role of a Vice Leader. At that time it was decided that SAES members could join join squads and gangs as regular members rather than only as liaisons. Naturally, many SAES members joined SWAT after having previously left to join SAES. This boosted our member count by a lot and we became undeniably prominent in the community.

With the introduction of "Biker Boyz" and "Global Trust", Ghost722nd left to lead Global Trust and a lot of SAES members left SWAT to join zZenom's project. Because of the loss of our leadership and founder, a new leader was elected from among the remaining high ranked members - Killer89/Magnus, and a new vice leader, Galaxy. With this new leadership in place, a new HQ team was chosen consisting of Nathan and Mega9.

S.W.A.T. was eventually given the level 6 before the level system was ever implemented, we had finally obtained the long awaited armour, health pickup, tear gas and faster SWAT tanks. More vehicles and tear gas immunity were also part of the package. We became truly unique. Recruitment via applications was closed at this time, only players who caught our attention as exceptional were given an opportunity to join the ranks. However once the new gang levels were in place, our armour was removed and skin shaders were introduced, allowing for multiple organisations to use the same skin with different appearances. For many years to come we would remain the only squad to be allowed to chase and arrest wanted players without initiating roleplay, as arresting in itself, was our roleplay as a high-risk interventive unit. No talk, all action. With those sudden changes, we were now largely a normal squad that is on its surface like any other. However, we remained a squad with a many exceptionally skilled police officers and a great history.

Fast forwards, it's 2017. SWAT is at its lowest point and led by the despicable Ardron whose unholy name was erased from history books and will be mentioned no more. It was in this period that SWAT dropped to level 4 and tolerated Teddy as a HQ, until finally Magnus woke up and passed the leadership onto Hesha the Saviour - who praise his name, led the squad back onto the correct path and rightfully re-established it once more as the largest, most active and capable squad on the server.

Having done whatever he could for the squad, Hesha too had retired and passed on the leader's mantle onto DROT, with Element taking up the spot of Vice Leader. Soon came the COVID activity boost for the server throughout the early 2020's and S.W.A.T. made the best of it. A unique system was developed called the S.W.A.T. Academy, which interested players could join to face challenging tests and attempt to reach a result significant enough to be granted an opportunity to join the server's most prestigious squad. For the first time since its creation, S.W.A.T. moved from its iconic San Fierro base. Every month, for years on end, we have held the "Most Active Squad" title and scourged each and every single one of the server's groups with S.W.A.T. members in high positions. It was truly an era of joy for S.W.A.T. members, or potential frustration, had you not been one of us. Eventually, Element stepped down and was replaced by Niceez as the Vice Leader.

As suddenly as it came, COVID went away and left behind itself a gaping hole. Server activity dropped significantly and the great majority of its squads were unfortunately unable to remain active and in existence. Thankfully with just over 12 years under its belt, S.W.A.T. is a well-oiled machine that continues to easily traverse the uneasy decrease of the server's player count and remains the most versatile and active squad to this day.

In 2023 the squad is led by Niceez, Sou as the Vice Leader and HQ which consists of Lincoln alone.

What are we looking for in our applicants?

• S.W.A.T. needs great cops, and by great we mean damn good cops. No slacking will be accepted in S.W.A.T. as we are the best and have a reputation to maintain.
• You must be active in-game, on Discord, as well as on the forums.
• You must be active and have been playing on the server for quite some time, and you are expected to play in the future. We don't take kindly to inactivity, therefore anyone that goes inactive without letting us know beforehand, will be dismissed from the squad.
• Server, map and policing knowledge, as well as tactical thinking are required.
• By joining S.W.A.T and using our tags you are always representing us, regardless of what class you are actually spawned as. As a result, you are expected to follow the server rules as well as our squad rules at all times.
• You should attend as many activities and RPs as you can, these will be announced on the SWAT forum.

The following rules are the most basic rules of our squad. Everyone, no matter what rank they are, is expected to follow them at all times.
 

GENERAL RULES

1. Follow all the server rules that can be found on the forums or by pressing F1 in-game, at all times. Any violation of the rules, depending on the severity, would result in a punishment between a warning point and a kick.
2. Be active in-game. You are expected to be online for around 4-5 hours a week. If you are going to be inactive, then be sure to inform Management. Failure to do so could result in a kick.
3. Always be on best behavior. A bit of friendly banter is okay, but any excess will not be tolerated.
4. Follow orders and instructions from high ranked members and HQs. Disregard of the hierarchy would similarly be met with the fitting disciplinary measures.
5. Always try to arrest before you kill someone. You are a cop, not a criminal. So act like one.
6. Always wear the [SWAT] or [SWAT*] (if on probation) tags, no matter what spawn you're in. Exceptions can be made regarding certain groups.
7. Do not arrest players who have a wanted level less than 10 unless threatened or in the middle a criminal activity. Failure to adhere to this rule could result in a warning point.
8. Teamwork is key. Always try to group up with fellow officers for patrols or raids and promote cooperation as much as possible.

 

SPAWNING WITH STARS

• 1-3 stars: You can continue patrolling. However it is recommended that you clear the wanted level in order to avoid getting arrested and disrupting a patrol or any other activity.
• 3-10 stars: Ask a S.W.A.T. member or a police officer to offer a bribe so that you can carry out your duty. You are not allowed to go on patrol with this amount of stars!
• 11-36 stars: You are not allowed to spawn as S.W.A.T.; You must clear the wanted level immediately by any means available, but do it after spawning as a non-police class.

Describe a SWAT specific RP and how you would approach the chosen situation (Requirements: minimum 150 words): So our intel sources informed us of a drug deal happening this evening in some Bone County warehouse so we had to ready up the team and prepare well for the ambush . we had in possession one armored van and a helicopter and in terms of units we had one assault team composed of 5 people with shotguns and M4s and a sniper team composed of two members . so we went ahead and started the units' deployment . we had the sniper team stationed at the roof and the assault team in some nearby garage and we waited for the gangsters to come so we can ambush them . so as soon as they came we send the signal to our sniper teams to scout the area for all the criminals , luckily they weren't really armed only a couple of them had carbines and the others were men in suits so we the sniper took care of the too armed guys and the assault team rushed out and arrested the suited men easily . another operation taken care of.

Your strengths: Well my strengths are not too many but I can count some of them; I'm good driver so I could offer my best driver skills at hot-pursuits, I'm also good shooter and I'm able to use taser good enough.I'm able to coordinate with my team mates so I can also offer my best team work efforts to you I guess these are all that I can say.
Your weaknesses: I don't know is it weakness or strength but I'm a bit ambitious some times I become really angry but it also keeps me motivated to my job so I can focus easily on my tasks but it is still weakness I guess or I don't know we'll see if we have time

Describe a SWAT specific RP and how you would approach the chosen situation (Requirements: minimum 200 words): In the center of the city that is experiencing a hostage situation in a company. The LAPD arrived on the scene, but the number of hostages inside the building pretty much And that's not good enough for this task and their equipment. Because of this, LAPD called to the SWAT team and They are wanted to the help from SWAT Team. A few moments later SWAT team arrived at the scene. SWAT team wanted it cleared of the area. Captain McGregor placed a sniper on the roof and created time for preparation of the Swat Team. Captain McGregor, had to get building plans in order to get inside without any mistake and create a safe route into the building. The SWAT team was prepared and they approached the door to get in. Proceeded to call all over the inside of the building. The location of the hostages was identified and began the operation to save them. meanwhile To check the status of the hostages was founded in connection with the contents of the .and the status of the hostages turned out to be good but the criminals wanted a helicopter. Captain McGregor said that it is not possible. The Leader of Criminals said if the helicopter doesn't arrive in time they will start killing innocent hostiles. The SWAT team approached the door where the hostages are located and threw a flashbang inside. The SWAT team caught the criminals as alive.

Describe a SWAT-specific RP and how you would approach the chosen situation (Requirements: minimum 200 words)*: That was early morning of monday.Officer Andersin just woke up,ate breakfast and started to wear his SWAT uniform.He got a call on the phone from his wife which was in another city because of work.She told him to be more carefully on him job because she worries about him and about his life.Anderson told her that he loves her and he had to go.Officer arrived to SWAT base and was started to wait for backup call.15 minutes passed and nothing intresting happend.Officer used to make some coffe and keept waiting.In next 5 minutes he got a call on radio that one of gangs selling weapons to terrorist organizations.Anderson took his weapons and went to the enforcer to regroup with rest people of his team.Once they arrived on adress they heard some shoots.All officers took the cover and was waiting for an order of their captain.Captain told them to report about shoots on radio and go inside.Inside the building they saw 5 dead people almost all of them got shoot and only one got knifed.SWAT's secured the area.Crates around the house was empty...seems like those crates used to carry weapons.One of officers took a look on locked crate.He told others to see what inside.Officer Anderson decided to open it and when he did it he saw a bomb.He had just 5 seconds to react because it was a mine...he decided to block the blow with his body and jumped on it meanwhile all others SWAT's starte to run away.After blow rest of team came back to the room....They didnt even found any party of Anderson's body...Captain reported on the radio that they lost one of officers and called his wife..

Tell us about yourself (Requirements: minimum 50 words; cohesive text): Greetings, my name is Onur/Okan Altunta from Turkey. I'm, 20 years old and just graduated from high-school past year. I'm a competitive and enterprising person which means I'm always willing to learn new kinds of stuff and help to improve my team. Before we get involved in real life stuff and other things, I'd like to describe myself shortly. It's hard to say for yourself that but I could say that I'm an honest and loyal person at least my colleagues say these. Besides my traits and personality, I'd like to share my hobbies too with you. Well, most of the time I do play computer games at least it was before my sickness. Now I do spend most of my time reading books and other interactive stuff to learn more useful pieces of information. However, that doesn't mean I don't play computer anymore. I still enjoy playing computer games but not like used to do. So I play maximum 2-3 hours per day order to keep my body in a good shape. That's all for now. I think we can talk much more in-game while having time with other S.W.A.T members.

When did you join the server: I can't quite remember the exact date but uh it was one year ago I guesses. It might be something around August 2017.

How much do you play each day: As I said above on description paragraph, it is around 1-2 hours per day.

Your strengths: My personal skills are based on police life so I'd like to tell that I'm skilled enough to arrest criminals in a hard situation doesn't matter if don't have back-ups. Besides this, I'm good at aim and my taser skills are not that bad.

Your weaknesses: I ain't gonna lie to you, I never thought how to use aircraft in this god damn game, however, I'm pretty fine at driving helicopters other than this I don't have any other massive weaknesses in the game.

Why do you want to join S.W.A.T.: Pretty much simple but you guys want to hear more so I'd like to list few; First of all S.W.A.T is an elite squad founded by skilled any experienced players, and those members are still in there and educating their own new colleagues to become new professionals. That is a good reason to join S.W.A.T and become a legend. Also, I do enjoy my stay with S.W.A.T members, I have friends in there and they are friendly and always willing to help to catch the bad guys :)

Why do you think you will be good for S.W.A.T.: I can offer my loyalty and skills by any means. Besides these, I could say that I'm a really lovely person and always willing to help my friends in any kinds of situations.

Describe a SWAT specific RP and how you would approach the chosen situation (Requirements: minimum 150 words): Another ordinary day has been passing by in San Fierro. S.W.A.T officers were spending their time on advanced pieces of training and other kinds of stuff as usual. However, the situation did not go as usual. An urgent call came from S.F Airport. Has changed everything. Captain had to gather his men immediately to make a short briefing about the upcoming event. According to first reports, there was a hostage situation was going on in the airport. Local police officers have been disarmed and already taken as hostage besides the passengers. The situation was worse than ever and the Terrorist group was not cooperating and they were demanding a lot of stuff. After the briefing phase, Captain decided to arm his men with fully automatic guns and snipers to eliminate terrorists before they hurt someone else. In the meantime, terrorists were keeping demand more stuff from law enforcement team and treating the police to about killing the hostages. S.W.A.T vans have already been mount by officers and they were ready to go. In a couple of minutes, they have reached the place and took their position without getting seen to any terrorists. The plan was simple but they knew that it wasn't that easy as it looks. The plan A was about taking the hostages without any casualties. So by using the rear gate and with a couple of flashbangs, they did breach into the hall in several gates to make unnecessary attention. Terrorists were distracted by the front gate and flashbangs while the other squad was getting into the hall by using the rear gate. In the Meantime, many terrorists have been neutralized by S.W.A.T marksmen and squad members. The situation was taken under control just in a couple of minutes. S.W.A.T members have evacuated the area successfully and saved everyone's life without any casualties.

Tell us about yourself (Requirements: minimum 50 words; cohesive text): Hello, as it's stated, my in-game name is Cappo. My real name is Milan, my character is pretty simple, as I don't need a lot of stuff in order to be happy. First of all, I am competitive in real life, but I don't really want to kinda tryhard or be competitive in a game. Now, I got a couple of games I usually play, except MTA, including League of Legends. In real life, I am a person that would talk with you for whatever you want to, I can talk in different topics and regarding different stuff. I love sports, my favourite thing is to do some sports, hang around with my friends and in the end of the day, get in MTA and have some person with some quality people and have a rest from the real life problems.

II. In-game experience

When did you join the server: Well, I joined the Server on December 2017, but I was always spawning as a Trainee and I did nothing else, but arrest everyone with my friends. After 1-2 months, my friends got bored of the game, but I was still addicted. I kept playing and showed interest towards a couple of groups, squads etc.

How much do you play each day: Maximum 2 hours per day, excluding Saturday and Sunday. If the weather is bad, and I got nothing else to do, I can spend a great amount of time in the Server..

Previous Squads/Gangs/Companies: SAFP, TST.

Name the reason(s) for leaving: I won't get in the details regarding the stuff that happened between me and the SAFP HQ back then when I was a member. I announced that I will leave after 1 week, the same day I did that a SAFP activity was happening, I didn't bother to get there, as I had enough of that and I didn't consider myself as a part of that squad, so the HQ kicked me because of not following orders.
I left TST because it is inactive and I see no potential in it anymore, as the server itself is dying. I love getting better in everything I do, I like improving myself while having fun with people I like, sadly, I didn't do anything as TST.

Your strengths: I've improved myself a lot from the last time I showed interest towards SWAT. I've been in SAT before. My aiming skills are decent, as well as my driving.

Your weaknesses: I simply can't drive a FBI Rancher. I don't know what the reason is, but I simply can't. I am decent with Sultans, but the Rancher isn't my thing. Also, as I've almost never used a plane, I consider myself as bad using it too.

Why do you want to join S.W.A.T.: First of all, SWAT activity nowadays is incredible, no criminal group or organisation stands a chance against it. Now, what makes SWAT different from every other squad is the community of it, and I sadly forgot to state that, but the community I am in means everything for me. First of all, SWAT members have decent English, which is pretty rare in the server today. Second of all, as I consider myself pretty new (almost 1 year isn't really a lot, considering how many older players are in the server), I will get the chance to learn new stuff from SWAT, I am sure. During my time spent in SAT, I learned a lot, a lot of stuff that helped me out in my future as a Police Officer, as well as improve my skills. Also, one more reason to join SWAT is those boring Police & Criminal pull overs. That is interesting fun in the first 10 roleplays, then it gets boring and pretty annoying. SWAT doesn't do that, and I'd say that the roleplays SWAT does are a lot more interesting then that. Also, as I said, I want to take part of a Squad that is active and full of Members that are chill and fun. Also, I am impressed by the recruitment system of SWAT, as well as the ranks you got in game. Having a paramedic for you is a great idea, as in that way, during JBs, SRs, and BRs it's almost impossible to die, so the criminal activity can easily get stopped.

Why do you think you will be good for S.W.A.T.: I am active, as well as loyal. As I said before, I improved myself from the last time I've been SAT, my driving skillis, my aim etc.. Also, during my period of time spent in the other squads I've been allowed to improve myself even more. I can offer SWAT loyality, my skills and my positive thoughts, a person that you all can abuse and just another person that can fight for the good of the squad.

Describe a SWAT specific RP and how you would approach the chosen situation (Requirements: minimum 150 words):

It was a normal base in San Fierro. I was having my lunch next to San Fierro bank, after a couple of minutes of that enjoyable meal, I received am emergency call comming from San Fierro Hall. I quickly picked up and heard that around 10 criminals comming from a well organised organisation are setting a bomb that would be as that powerful, as it would reach Las Venturas. That's where the fun started. SWAT units immediately responded, as I had lunch near their base, I saw a great amount of Helicopters, SWAT tanks, SWAT enforcers, Sultans, etc, getting out of the base and heading towards the given destination. After a couple of seconds, a Police Helicopter picked me up, I saw all of the SWAT units surrounding the area and making sure none is in there, furthermore, the whole San Fierro has been evacuated. After a while, the Criminals and the organisation has gotten ruined by the SWAT units. All of the units has came back to their places and went back to regular patrol. Me and a couple of other officers got the bomb and got it in the Police Department, as there it was going to be well looked at.
