  2. I definitly agree with @Terry . The first part was actually interesting, surprisingly I enjoyed the roleplay and having that much people around you, roleplaying seemed to be really fun and enjoyable. The seperating in 3 groups was good idea and the scenarios for the rps were great, once again, it was really fun. Now, the waiting... Yeah, it didn't feel too good waiting that much, especially between the first and the second part, I guess voting took awhile, but it's alright, though the waiting is a thing that I do not like. The second part seemed to be well planned with the building in the LVx, but when Laza got arrested pretty much everything got lost. Though, the thing with the ruined building was such a fresh and nice idea, I guess there were a couple of victims we had to save and to report the situation in the building, yet it kinda failed. Now, the last thing was really challenging, in the middle of the LV - SF highway, a couple of broken down 'machines' or whatever happened to be there... The objects were smoking, we had only that, so for each one of us it was really challenging to actually get to think of some fresh ideas, but it was for good. Last words, once again, it was realy enjoyable and well done roleplay, I liked it and as Terry said, hopefully we'll get to roleplay more, because that kind of roleplays are really fun, especially when that much players are all around you, roleplaying and showing their best potential. Thanks to the SAFD for hosting this recruitment, of course, there's a lot to improve, but that's good as long as the problems are detected. Congrats to the new members of SAFD, hopefully we'll help out improving the group, getting out some fresh ideas for roleplaying and other useful additions to it...
  3. But the game isn't... you removed the golf (club) because it was too "modern".
  4. HAPPY BDAY HESHA! HAIL THE SWAT COMMANDER!
  5. "wood" lmao, I still can't get what does that mean in your sentences, anyways. First, you stated that I couldn't drive the packer, then, you stated that you couldn't walk in, well, make it a bit of a surprise then, maybe? Make sure that you're sneaking in from behind and makes sure that none sees that you're approaching. Use /r and call some other cops, as you quietly park the packer and sneak from behind (I'm taking Las Venturas; Come-A-Lot for example). Once again, when there are that much criminals, I've gotten ~90k just from one jump, just from the first try. Once again, try actually spawning as a crim to pay attention that it isn't that easy to get down a cop that sneaked onto a SR. It is actually easy, keeping in mind that you have to shoot without actually killing your fellow criminals, because it could be considered as DM, the only target is the actual cop, so you should be quiet good to take down 1 cop that jumped on the roof without taking down any other crims. Now, why not grouping some some other members of your own squad, or simply try to communicate with the other cops? As if for example 13 cops are organised enough and raid a SR, they can easily take down ~30 criminals, I even partipicated in that kind of a raid, it isn't that difficult if you're organised enough.
  6. Wait, are you serious? First of all, let's take Las Venturas, Come-a-lot. Now, you sneak around the SR and see a good amount of criminals. What every cop would do is simply get your packer spawned and park it right behind, so you can sneak behind them and JUST SPAM YOUR NIGHSTICK. So, as you did that, just after the first try, you can get ~100k from arrests. And that's the first try, you can do that until the SR finishes, furthermore, you can use the radio and actually call someone to help you out stopping it. That "strategy" can happen in like, every SR, but it's just way too easy in LS Wilowfied and LV come-a-lot. So, why do you need more money? How would the money help you out, when your point is that the criminals are way too unballanced? If the whole point is abour the money, well, once again, how would the money help you out getting to be a better cop? As someone else already stated, ~10 organised cops (which can be your squad) can clear a SR of 20-30 crims with a few strategies. Raiding it, or maybe parking a packer, also the flashbangs are still a thing. All good as of now, I think I've cleared up the most of the topic, but I gotta admit two things. First, it actually is difficult stopping a BR or a JB for example, in my opinion, those people that are "deffending" can spam their bullets for ever and not allow ANYONE run by and eventually arrest them, also considering the fact that there are so much criminals and less cops. In my opinion, the Jail and the Banks should be reviewed and a bit improved, as when there are no buddies of your squad to help you out, it actually is difficult stopping it, as there are just trainees around you. So, should be fun if some SAES member comes out with a fresh map, so we can test it out and say if it practically is balanced. Also, what did you mean "cops life is just repair your vehicle and chase" or something like that. Lol, what? First of all, its well known that the glue got removed, there's no more 4+ criminals on a veh, so if you're alone, patrolling, just chase one criminal, so you can deal with him, taking 2v1 is difficult and it actually should be. My suggestion for that kind of topics, well, simply play 2 hours as a criminal, get wanted and see what would happen. Not as easy ad you imagine it.
  7. Even though James's English is barely understandable, he has a good point. This idea seems to be good, but knowing that pretty much anyone can steal your car isn't good.

  9. -1. Too much DM incomming, also seems a bit useless.
  10. ....
  11. Alright let's say I'm in a SR, in Los Santos, for example the one in Mulholand, or the Warehouse. I'm using my alpha and I'm pretty much out of fuel. Why would I bother going to a station and maybe getting myself in a risk, as if I am a criminal, I would get some cops after me, while I'm heading to the station. Yeah, I'll get to refuel my vehicle from the disk that is right next to the SR I am in, which of course would make it too easy. Or let's say I am in LVx, of course, there are like 2 disks that are as that close, as I would choose refilling my vehicle there, instead of bothering myself and going to a station. That seems to be really unrealistic (I do realize 75% of the gameplay isn't realistic, but it just doesn't seem right).
  12. -1. Why not making more stations and pay n' spay, instead of fixing and refuelling your vehicles in a disk. That would make the stations useless, as well as ALT. Not supporting this at all
  13. Wait, let me clear this up. SWAT's roleplay is to NOT do pullovers and that kind of stuff, like the other squads, simply because that's SWAT. Have you ever seen SWAT members to do a pullover in real life? No, right. Yeah, I know that I shouldn't compare real life stuff and the game, but I am just clearing up the question "why swat never rps". Our job is to take down and arrest highly wanted criminals and not to do pull overs, which usually end up in bribing after the rp thingy (which is always the same).
  14. Simply useless stuff, someone tryna look tough.
  15. I hope you know kill arresting is disabled in SRs. Also, I've noticed that overall the criminals do the foolish mistake to do SRs the most in Las Venturas - Come-a-lot and also in Los Santos - Wilowfield. Those 2 SRs are way too easy for the cops to farm arrests, honestly, I do around 150k just from one SR. I consider this as a mistake that you do. That was a thingy to go a bit off topic tho
  16. @Odorian said in Reliability of arresting with a nightstick: This is just utter bullshit, if you cops ever tried to zerg rush with flashes instead of going in one by one, you'd stop an average poorly organised BR with ease. Sometimes we have fun playing as cops with TT buddies and stopping a jailbreak isn't such difficult, especially when you have killarrest. What I bolded is exactly what I meant. "Stopping poorly organised BRs." The idea of the topic is to not rush, isn't it? Now, stopping a SR, BR and JB is all up to the the people you're doing it with. Thats why I rarely respond to JBs and BRs, if there are no SWAT members around, simply because the communication is in a higher level and we'd be able to take down the wanted criminals in a better way, instead of collecting 10 random trainees that couldn't do it. Once again, it's up to the people you're doing it with. Synergy is the key.
  17. -1, I'll state why. First of all, there are ~20 criminals in a SR, defending on the roof. Usually, 3-4 cops are answering SRs. The first thing to do, as a cop in a SR is to find a way to sneak behind the criminals, so you stand a chance against 20 criminals. Now, lets see how your idea will work. This cop gotta hit the criminals 3 times with a nighstick, in order to get him arrested? How is that even close to being realistic. Why would you compare the arresting system right now, which I agree it isn't realistic (but keep in mind that is a RPG server) with another system that requires not 1 hit, but 3. How thay makes it realistic? Now, I stated why, it's obviously impossible to arrest anyone in a SR, even consodering that a cop tase some criminal that is not on the roof, his fellow mates will take the cop down, as the cops is hitting him 3 times. Now, lets have a look at the BRs. Once again, impossible to stop it as a cop, because the deffenders are going to easily take down the cop, even considering there are flashes, it still wouldn't be that hard for the crims. The same thing goes for the JB. Now, let me clear this up, why would a cop use his M5 in a 1v1 chase, while he can use a shotgun that is going to slow the criminal down and then eventually use taser and nightstick. Why? Thats how it is, I already stated why the arresting system you suggested is definitly impossible to happen and why a cop wouldn't use his m5.
  18. @Silence said in Bank Interior Project: I wouldnt mind getting some fellow swats online and try it out against you guys? 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 possibly? Lets find a suitable time 5v5 could easily happen. I guess trying it out is worth it.
  19. Well deserved. @DROT well done :communism:

  21. SWAT Roleplay / Activity I've been called with a couple of collegues to secure the government meeting. I got there quickly and secured in a professional way. Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/dSr1FCh
  22. My favourite admins are @Tut-Greco (even though he is a probie) and @nicus . You both are always there when needed.
  23. SWAT evening activity We've been stopping a great amount of well organised SRs and BRs. Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/Q1QAQeA
  24. -1. What would be the point of groups like Cuban Cars, that exist thanks to the vehicles? Now, as for the bugs that sometimes happen, it isn't needed the whole map to experience a veh. respawn, just for a couple of bugged vehs.
