  1. Hello Community! I've seen this suggestion several times. Damage at different parts of your body. Arms, legs and ass takes reduced damage. Torso takes normal damage. Head takes more damage. If killing bullet is headshot - head explodes! Illustration below: ::: ::: However as many other great suggestions, most of the time nothing comes out of it. So I sat down yesterday with a nice cup of coffee and did some things. In short, this script detects which body part the player is shot at and with what weapon. From there it calculates and reduces player health accordingly. Video preview of the body damage script in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYKqUPQP95k (Also keep in mind, these damages are all subject to change, nothing is set. I may have exaggerated damage to show the difference) However... I made this topic to ask you guys, the community, if this is something you want. So I've made a poll This script is not done, and there are things that needs to be changed, such as weapon damage. I felt it would only be fair if I made you guys discuss and decide that! I would like to ask you guys to suggest and comment your opinion on how much each weapon should do when shot at the.. Head Arms/legs/ass Torso remains normal damage. (A player has 100 health) Current data for a death on SAES is: 3 shots deagle / sniper 10 shots of M4 12 shots of Uzi / MP5 3 shots of CS If this is something you guys want, I'll work on finishing the script
  2. I personally don't see a use for mainchat. This would bring more roleplay, if people use mainchat less
  3. Thats because swat base is in SF - we've arrested them so many times its not even possible to spawn
  4. Client-side / Server-side issues. You see an NPC, but I don't. Problem occurs. This has been suggested a long time ago aswell. It just won't work in MTA
  5. Tillykke skat! <3 @Tut-Greco
  6. How about also having rain, fog, clouds and such every once in a while?
  7. @bazuka36 It used to be even crazier back in the day, every single player was visible on the map. Both radar and F11

  9. Good thing that my arrest hack hasn't been caught yet
  10. creating fake temporary forum accounts to upvote your own application
  11. EDIT: On a more serious note though, there is nothing like being a police officer and seeing 15 criminals piled on top of a vehicle like an indian train during rush hour. Vice versa for crims. You know either way who's gonna win I'd like to see it removed aswell, or the very least decrease its usability so it only works for certain vehicles
  12. I wouldnt mind getting some fellow swats online and try it out against you guys? 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 possibly? Lets find a suitable time
  13. combine that with new bank interiors we almost have saes 2.0
  14. Correction: The spraycan is actually a mind-blowing 15$. I actually find this suggestion rather interesting, because in my opinion this is a game breaking issue that hasn't been solved through the years on this server, and it's honestly dissapointing. I am a large-scale spraycan user. I can not go out and patrol without having my spraycan with me, it is like my second right hand. Most of the money I make is spent on spraycan ammo, and I can promise you, it is several millions every week - so I am in a constant struggle of making money and trying to stay effective as a police officer. Most of the time when chasing down a criminal I completely refrain from using my taser at all. What most police officers don't get is that the spraycan is actually better than the taser due to its crow control effect on the suspect, and then afterwards the rather complex combination of the nightstick left-mouse click attack after it. It requires a high amount IQ to perform this combo, but only few has mastered it. I am proud to say that I am a spraycan using officer. I usually jump out of a helicopter parachuting down and getting just the right distance away and behind a criminal, perfect distance is ( 4.82 meters ) while my pilot lands on a roof-top, shoots the criminal with a sniper rifle once - disabling him for a split second, here I come in and spray-can him for exactly ( 1.25 seconds ) nothing more, nothing less, then I prepare my nightstick attack. It is quite problematic with the high prices due to the high usage it has. Let's do some math. It uses 50 ammo every second, which translates into ( 50 x 15 ) 750$ EVERY SINGLE SECOND Now if this is not enough red flags and alarming enough let's see how it effects a spraycan using officer like myself. As I mentioned earlier I spent ( 1.25 seconds ) each arrest. Which is ( 750 x 0.25 = 187.5 ) Now ( 750 + 187.5 = 937.5$ every single arrest ) It costs me 937.5$ to do an arrest. Round that up and say 1.000$ Imagine after 50 arrests, which usually happens after a long patrol - that's already ( 50.000$ ) just for spraycan ammo. If the average arrest is about 10.000$, I lose 10% of the value from an arrest due to spraycan ammo usage. This is unacceptable. Thank you for making the server aware of this, it needs to happen.
  15. Ofcourse someone can abuse, but so can you with construction panel. Rules obviously still apply
  16. @Scorpyo It still wouldn't be hashed more than once.
  17. @Scorpyo Only way internet could affect this is if he actually has no internet connection when clicking login. Your password does not get hashed and salted by your own computer. So no matter how many times you click login, it won't hash it more. It gets hashed and salted server-side in a method once credentials are sent. And that only happens once when clicking login. After that, then through another method it gets compared to the actual hashed value stored in the database. Your password will always be hashed the same way no matter how many times you click login. Either Noisyboy didn't have internet connection whilst clicking login, or it was a typo.
  18. Okay, before this turns into a cop vs. crim shitfest, hear me out on this one. This is gonna be a completely different suggestion, but from what I understand every rant topic about crim or cop is what it all boils down to is lack of skill. This suggestion might satisfy both sides here. I understand Taavi's point of view, however this is not gonna do it. I would love to start on a big project myself for SAES regarding Hitboxes. However this is no easy script to do. It would be a long ongoing development, but I am the type that won't quit until its done. These numbers are not the actual amount it would damage multiply, but you get the idea. Think about it, for a minute. Current data for death is: 3 shots deagle / sniper 10 shots of M4 12 shots of Uzi / MP5 3 shots of CS Looking from a criminals point of view, you would have damage multiply, when done to the head. Perhaps 2 shot deagle/sniper/CS in the head, and dead? 5 Shots of M4 done directly to the head? These are all subject of discussion, but this is mere a suggestion. This way you could also bring other weapons into the picture so its not CS and M4 only. Different weapons could deal different amounts of damage. Damage would be normal when done to the torso. Not only would this bring 'skill' into the picture, but it might stop people from whining about things being too easy. You could even have heads explode if a kill is registered as a headshot. You can give the police side 1 shot of taser, I wouldn't mind it, however, if its a headshot, it would be an instant arrest like old days.
  19. What a joke once again.
