[CHANGE] When disabling 'all' mods - keep some
Aurora replied to Dinaz's question in Suggestions / Changes - Archive
This is a really nice piece of work you've done @Filex If done properly it could seriously change the player experience within SAES..as they'll be able to increase their own specs as they won't need to load in the shit-ton of mods SAES has..(in hindsight). -
[SUGGESTION] Cops killing players with no stars near jail
Aurora replied to FreshCoffee's question in Suggestions / Changes - Archive
You'd have to change the rule of where unwanted criminals can kill a cop in the jail zone than... Cops are allowed to kill unwanted criminals due to the fact it could lead to the start of a jailbreak. if you want this suggestion added - you'll have to make it for BOTH sides and not just the cops.. -
[SUGGESTION] Mark-killing at jail
Aurora replied to SheraP's question in Suggestions / Changes - Archive
And to note on that marker protection...when you enter the markers you have a brief second or two where you can NOT move at all due to loading into the interior. With there being little to no time on the protection - that small hiccup if loading in is more than enough for a group of criminals to camp it with the weapons. Furthermore take into account that theres a possibility of getting pushed back by a Spaz and/or Sniper bullet that causes the targeted ped to take a step backwards and be unable to target or fire... So if we look at the statistics you can,see where the market killing should he disallowed due to the unfair nature of it. An easy solution would be to increase, or actually add, the marker protecfion buff to the jail..not a high number where a warden can, abuse it but enough to where players with the bad connections and such have a fighting chance. On the flip-side yes the criminals will say "Oh but you have a taser and nightstick so use that you fools" Right why didnt we think of that? We have enough time to enter the marker (mind you with NO protection as you can see in the photos the dead ped is floating - meaning they haven't fully loaded into the jail yet to even MOVE) and run up to a criminal to whack with the baton - in that amount of time the gaggle of 5 or so criminals can just obliterate the cops with a range advantage and the luck factor of a first round sniper/spaz forcing their target still for a brief interlude. -

Multiple deputies were on and patrolling the various streets of San Andreas when I started my shift with a few Deputies. I got word from a private source that a possible riot was being set-up at the Los Santos Government Building at 14:55. I arrived on scene and made contact with the individual - Mr. Delwin Dawson. When I spoke with him, the claims was that he was protesting "Alien Lives Matter" in lieu of a recent Desert Eagles situation. He reassured me that it was a peaceful encounter, so I asked him to stay on the sidewalk while I monitored the area and his actions. He than began calling friends and visitors to join his riot so I quickly established a perimeter and contacted the Secret Service and various Police Departments. At 15:20 multiple units from the State Interceptors and LSPD arrived for scene control. It got eventful quickly as one arrest was made at 15:19 due to a protester throwing a live grenade into the crowd of officers...further on we had a medical situation where a protester couldn't breathe - so LS Medical and the SAFD arrived to assist. It didn't help that multiple trucks rammed through the secured perimeter and caused havoc - forcing the SS and SAI to open fire. Sadly multiple civilian casualties occured during the protest and it was a sad time. At 15:30 the riot got out of hand with LEO's having to form a mobile barrier to keep them from entering, protesters screaming and yelling, escellating in violence as more arrests and shots rang out. At 16:00 the SS requested we move back to the white house gates, and we did so and had minimal issues so Chief Reed pulled rank and had us all move from the area at 16:10 Details for the Roadblock and Bomb Roleplay We had a short break and so at 18:20, Chief Reed made the call to secure the San Fierro Suspension Bridge due to an active bank robbery. All available officers mobilized and secured the area - we had one fella come through the bridge which Deputy Sam Nake took care of. We moved back to base to regroup where a call came in about a hostile situation on the Las Venturas Crossroads sub 18:40. The SAI SPTU team responded in full force as a handful of patrol deputies worked to secure the scene (myself included). When we arrived we located Deputy Nake passed out in the roadway, covered in satchel explosive devices. SPTU was able to locate a CLO General on the scene, suppository the active hostile. Myself along with the Patrol Deputies secured the scene and kept everyone back by 18:48, multiple CLO members and reporters arrived so that was fun trying to deal with them and the scene at the same time. Tactical Officers managed to take down the General (who later appeared out of roleplay context) and was able to get close enough to the IED's to realize that a specialized deputy with bomb handling experience was needed - as they couldn't figure out the layout. A call was placed to Deputy Penkins - a Bomb Squad Tech within SAI - and he managed to safely get Deputy Nake out of the hostile situation after many frustrating minutes. Every Officer on scene had to deal with people breaking through the barricades, reckless drivers, angry citizens and so much more stress. Due to the nature of the situation, a sharpshooter was placed at the South East corner of the situation with a classic AWP Rifle. Angry gang-members lined the streets and attempted to take out our sacred Deputy, so Mr. Swagger was thankfully able to shoot them down before any harm could be done to the scene. The screenshots tell the story of those involved, and we thank everyone for their hard service and dedication. Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/SA9TpNO

Police Evidence Transport
Aurora replied to JohnnyEnglish's question in Suggestions / Changes - Archive
@J-Garcia I suggested something similar, using an armored transit vehicle for both sides to give them something new...but it's always nice to see a different spin on things. It allows us as players to see new and exciting elements in an open forum. -

Involved SAI members: James Aran (Aurora), Howard Penkins ( @Bidrift ), Sam Name ( @shah ) and Thomas Reed ( @bas260 ) Other Involved Officers; Officer Matthews ( @Matthews ) and Trooper Garcia Divisions involved:(ND/HSPD/RSD/CID) None Date, time and duration of activity: May 31st, 2020; 16:25 to 18:25 (2 hours) Activity type: Statewide Patrol Activity Details: The patrol starts like any other, watching for speeders and reckless drivers in LV. We came across a reckless vehicle and attempted a 10-55 (Traffic Stop), but guess what the vehicle didn't pull over. Officer Matthews and I initiated the pursuit, leading to Bone County where the suspect crashed and ran. Officer Matthews was able to make the arrest after tazing the suspect - so we moved back to our spot in LV. At this point Matthews had to do other tasks, so I patrolled the outskirt highway where I located a group of people standing on one of the on-ramps. Contact was made to have them move from the highway at least three times - but they ignored my pleas and chose to keep blocking due to it being an "LWS Event". I made it clear that they just had to move to the side of the road, but they refused so I arrested two individuals for Failure to Comply. Returning to LVX I located a reckless Blue on Black Super GT - starting another 10-55 where the driver turned out to be clean, just in a hurry. He was let go with a warning and immediatley after I started a pursuit on a speeding vehicle. Of course the driver had better things to do and took off, so I called for assistance and Chief Reed was right around the corner. The driver got boxed in at LV Airport so I placed a spike strip to take him out on the exit approach...but the suspect caused an explosion and the pursuit was obviously Code 4 at that point...another patrol of Las Venturas led to a short vehicle pursuit - thankfully the driver stopped after a short chase, so I held him at gunpoint until backup arrived. When 10-12's got on scene I took the driver into custody and resumed patrol operations. 17:09 we had another pursuit, but the bad news is that the driver fled to TugaThugs Base and we were outnumbered. Officers managed to storm the base and arrest the individual before being taken down by fellow gang-mates. Traffic stops and various pursuits/999 interventions commenced for the 18:00 to 18:25 when the shift ended. Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/RDhit6j

Roleplay type: Motor Vehicle Accident Description of roleplay: I was with the rest of the district crew at LSFD when an emergency pager went across the radio claiming a MVA. We jumped into action and responded Code 3, with SAM hot on the trail as well. Upon arrival, we secured the scene as SAM secured a triage zone as the FD started working on the patients and vehicle stability. We managed to break open the vehicles and pull the drivers out, treating them as one was in critical condition due to being hit on the drivers door and the other in moderate condition. In the end, SAFD managed to get the drivers out so SAM could treat safely - transporting them to LS General Hospital. [BUG] Full jail time after using /sur if tased
Aurora replied to NikoBellic's question in Suggestions / Changes - Archive
To answer your question, if cops are chasing you and the suspect (you) kill multiple officers before they're able to get close...you type /sur to immediately get a lower jail sentence. In real life, if you surrender after committing a crime you very seldom get a reduced sentence. What he's trying to explain is that - If a SUSPECT was to run from police, and verbal commands are issued and the suspect DOES NOT STOP - and the SUSPECT goes about killing more cops before a cop can get close enough to taze, the suspect will type /sur to get more than half of their sentence gone because of one command. Why the hell should we give you a lower sentence because you surrendered after high crimes? The reason we taze is very simple - to get you the full sentence if you try to avoid it. If you surrender during a role-play (like at a SAI checkpoint or traffic stop) than sure that's reasonable for a lower sentence as you're complying...not reasonable for the prior scenarios. -
Happy Birthday my long time friend! Stay safe and enjoy the day, it's always a pleasure to see you around man

Yeah I can't figure out the reason for why it won't show the flat image itself as I don't prefer this forum settings setup. But the general idea is still present with the images just as example locations. -
SA Fire Department :: Media Archive
Aurora replied to Laza's topic in San Andreas Fire Department's SAFD Public Area
Roleplay type: Structure Fire Description of roleplay (minimum 3 sentences): It was a normal shift with an applicant in the LS District when the panic button was sounded through the radio, indicating a 1 story structure fire. I responded Code 3 with my RA to the location with SAI in close tow behind. Upon arriving to the scene, SAFD Supervisor Shadro was on scene talking with the Architect of the building while I established a triage zone and work area. I managed to secure the blueprints from the worker and spoke with Ali on the best possible attack while SAI Deputies secured the perimeter from the hostile civilians. We chose to start a primary attack line from Engine 76 - as the line was prepped, we began our initial search for any signs of life and located none. After clearing the building, we started the attack as Ali took the line and I vented the building to get the heat out. Unfortunately the fire started spreading, so we used the Engines water cannon for more force...and bam the exterior was secured so we started the interior attack. Unfortunately the civilians breached the perimeter and entered the Mosque so we had to fight both the flames and the civilian presence. We managed to get the fire secured and took down any hotspots before packing up and returning to quarters for a debrief. Location: Las Venturas North East section. Participants: Firefighter Ali (@ALIJR007) , SAFD Supervisor Shadro (@Shadro) , SAI Deputy Sam_Nake (@shah ) and ZIP worker Howlze (@Howlze ) Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/nmwe0qR -

Bump; It could be an interesting thing to add to give cops and criminals more to do than fight over the VIP for an event.
