Your ingame username: ghostpro222 Your ingame alias: Weppo Your year of birth: 1999 Your gender: male Nationality: Dutch Country of residence: The Netherlands How long you have been playing SAES: I've played around 2010 till 2013 and then took a long break. I came back at the end of 2020 and have been active since. Qualities you can offer: [ I ] One of the qualities I can bring to the team is being an active member of the community who is willing to help people out. In my time here I've spend a lot of time helping people out with game- or rule related issues they had. Which is why I've grown accustomed to most of the rules whether they are officially written or unwritten. And can explain their details and reason on why these rules exists so players can get a better view of why things are the way they are. [ II ] In the time I've played here since I came back I have gathered a lot of experience on the cop side and with groups. Being amongst the HQ team of FBI and directors of SS has learned me to deal with certain situations better then I was before and also caused me to have a better understanding of how things on SAES are supposed to work. Managing groups and squads is never a job of one person, one of the things I am good at and still improving upon to this day is communicating with other members and leaders. Communication whether or not the subject is a nice or not is always something I try to do. And if something tends to get out of hand I will make sure we don't end things on bad terms. As in the end it's still a videogame were everyone wants to have their fun and enjoyment. [ III ] Although I can be a bit "strict" on rules, I am fair with executing them, I have never been biased even if it has caused problems. I belief everyone should be dealt with equally. Although rules are there for a reason I also belief accidents happen, which is why I try to communicate with people when I think they did something wrong before making a report. I do belief people should talk more with each other to resolve their indifferences as it will make sure people get a better understanding of how it affects others. [ IV ] Because of my IRL jobs and hobbies I am a very creative person, I have got experience working in adobe and made a few wraps and textures in my time here. I've also tried to do more things but it's been a learning process thus far. Aside from doing things myself I've also suggested a few things this year. I have always tried not to spend other people their time with things but sometimes they are out of what I can do. This is were again I think my communication skills have gotten me the things I was able to do. Getting the right people with the right skills together has been struggling but very rewarding, it is also the primary reason I wanted to apply for CS, to help not only the people who have helped me, but also help others the same way that SAES/CS members have helped me in the past. Your weaknesses: I am and always will be honest with people, so I will be open on my own issues. [ I ] When I have my mind set on something I try my best to make it happen, which can be for better or the worse. [ II ] I have not played within a gang in the past years and therefore I have not experienced their POV as of late. Even though this can be seen as a negative as a majority of the server is on the criminal side. I will say I have gotten to know a lot of people from gangs which has helped to gain a better understanding of both cop and crim side. Do you have Discord Installed: yes Reason for application: I've been active a lot on the server and in the time I spend here I've asked some people to do favours for me or the community in general. I've always tried my best to reduce the amount of effort and time they had to spend. But now I feel like I also wanna give back and help others like those people have helped me. I've always appreciated their time and dedication and now I wanna bring that same dedication to others. Server Memberships: President of San Andreas FBI Headquarter Secret Service Director DE Master Sergeant HLS Intelligence unit ProCop officer TMH expert petrolhead Additional information: I always try to make the best of things with the tools I/we have in the arsenal. I'm a creative person and am always willing to learn and adapt although it can sometimes be hard for me. Previous (legitimate) punishments on the server: 1 ingame verbal warning a few months ago from element for park arrest. No punishments. Previous (legitimate) bans: none

@Hex said in [Suggestion]Toll Booths: @Weppo said in [Suggestion]Toll Booths: @jasonbourne ' What do you mean by this? Either you make them automatic or you don't. There have been 2 versions of the toll booth in the past: which would have to be opened by a toll keeper. But no one spawned nearly enough and it made roads inaccesable. Therefore I made the suggestion of giving certain groups the ability. And have them opened by default, therefore making them only work when someone is near. which was fully automatic. which is self-explaining. you stop your car near. pay the tolls. and drive. Or go straight through the barrier and get wanted. I don't think mixing my 2 suggestions is a good idea. Automatic tolls can already be RP-d around if you want to. The 2nd option was made to disencourage campers. Combing the 2 will just make it harder to script and therefore less likely to be implomented. IMO the whole toll booths were something original and interesting on a cops vs robbers server. Rather then an activity it's just something which makes the map itself more interesting. now you just look at billboards. If the only reason not to have both functionalities built into it is because it's "harder" to script then I see no reason to not have them both as it would be very easy to make it do both, script wise that is. Although if you say that the server has had both types of tolls in the past why were they removed? And if they were removed for a legitimate reason why would reintroducing them be any different than before. toll boots history version 1 For what I can understand is that there has been a version of the toll booths were it would only open if there was a toll operator spawned. Which was hated for obvious reasons that you couldn't get anywere anymore. toll booth history version 2 And there also was a version were it worked automatically. Which got camped by trainees or something. Which is why I suggested that this could happen again as some people tend to be into that unfortunatly. To mediate it on the 2nd suggestion I later suggested that criminals could hack the toll booths to let them open for an X period of time so they don't have to stop to pay taxes. Which also gives new criminals an opportunity to learn how to crack better/faster.

Are you like many others playing too much SAES? Or too much games in general? Or do you experience massive headages after all the reports you are receiving? :crank: Then the electric vehicle is the awnser for you! The electric car can be a solution to all your headages! No more loud car engine sounds! Fast acceleration! Free toll passage! and lower prices by using electricity rather then fuel! Not to mention a better environment! ((In all seriousness, I think electric vehicles can be a great benefit to not only give players new possible vehicles, but they can also be a benefit to the racing scene as they can have different stats. Not to mention they can be really good looking. Edit: ((There would also have to be charging stations))

Weppo replied to Weppo's topic in White House Press Office
Greetings citizens of San Andreas, The White House office officially announces the first projects released after our long series of funding from the San Andreas Improvement Program (SAIP) New Casino in north Venturas After months of being in development, the building and construction team from ZIP have finalised the construction of the Casino north of Las Venturas. This new casino is THE highlight of luxury, leisure, gambling and much more! for ALL citizens across San Andreas! This 5-star casino not only comes with all luxuries such as hotel bedrooms, it is only 15 minutes away from the airport thanks to it being right of the city highway. Making it one of the best locations for buisnessmen from abroad. The casino received a state of the art high security vault were the casino can store millions of dollars. All of this has been provided by ZIP using local manufactures. The vault got delivered with a guarantee it cannot be robbed. Not only this, but the security systems and personnel monitor the casino 24/7, making sure no illegal activities can go unnoticed. San Andreas Improvement program The San Andreas improvement program was set up to fund companies around San Andreas to finalise their idea's around the country. Our main contractor ZIP-Planning-and-Construction quickly took up the role of building this new casino. The construction of the casino was lead by the senator of North Venturas. Who oversaw the whole construction from beginning to end. (See ZIP's topic about construction, interiors and exteriors here: https://saesrpg.uk/topic/31778/introducing-the-new-last-venturas-casino) Signed, President of San Andreas, -

bump + idea If automatic is the way; Then it could be cool to have crims let the possibility to "hack" the booths with a minigame or something like how the "new/old" jail had with vents. If succesfully hacked it will open the gates for 15 or 30 minutes so crims can pass without having to stop and pay taxes. Since the hack is started by criminals rather then the server it would have to take a bit more then 10 seconds, so cops can come and try to stop the booths from being hacked. (2 sides of traffic to hack + 30-60s to hack. Making it 60-120 seconds to fully open the toll booths) It would make the map change based on criminals activity. It will either slow down traffic by having closed tolls were you have to pay. Or if they have been hacked it will be open so criminals can go around SA faster. It's something completely different then SR or VIP as it doesn't 'spawn' every 15/20 minutes but rather starts when a criminal wants to start it. Making it something unique on the server to do which involved some pvp. (if people want it could also be something only criminal groups can hack, although I think all crims would want to be able to do this.)
