I would like to thank everyone who donated and joined and the SAES staff members who came along too. The results were just as positive as the last test, however, we have come across some issues will prevent the server's release on its birthday tomorrow. Therefore while we work on these, there will be a third beta test in a next few days/week to see if can get these ironed out.

Please get these people to join SAES discord and PM me, and I will add them.

Hi All, The second closed beta will be available tomorrow (22nd Nov) for people who have donated 5GBP or more, from the 27th Oct onwards and for SAES staff. Yeah, if the majority of the vote goes to it. I've updated the post view on topics to colourise usernames the same as their group and added post/rep counts.

"Clicks" are now working (was an issue with javascript) Topic width will remain at the larger size for people with higher resolutions screens. As for the text-decoration issue, can you post a screenshot?

I've added a background and inserted the content within a 'parent' with a background colour. I would have been a ballache going around adding elements to each section (such as subcategories, topics/posts views etc) as the style isn't designed around using a dark background.

As our 'category sections' plugin no longer works and the author not looking at fixing it anytime soon, it's made our forum look a bit pants. I worked on using a pre-existing theme available for NodeBB and modifying it for Bastage. Can be viewed here: https://dev.saesrpg.uk Do you think (obviously if changed to 'SAES' style) we should adopt this style of theme and also reduce the need for a 'section' plugin? I was thinking of also developing 'skins' for the theme, so you can select if you want a SA style or VC style skin etc... Let me know.
