Non-police vehicles marked with police variants are now only drivable by emergency classes and can be parked at player owned properties. "Gang Bank Robberies Stopped" and "VIP's Escorted" added to /stats. Police variants are now available for the following vehicles: Infernus, Cheetah, Stratum, Huntley, Patriot, Newsvan, Bullet. Vehicles found in proximity of bank entrances are now collision-less to prevent interior marker blocking. Squadless players receive 10% less money from arrests. This does not apply to PC members. Pro Cops (PC) Changes Detective is now the primary PC spawn and comes with a new skin. Police Marine spawn has been reintroduced and returned to Las Venturas. Following PC spawns were made public and accessible to anyone depending on their arrest /stats: Traffic Officer (1k), Police Officer (2k), Police Marine (3k), Sheriff (4k). April 2021 - January 2022 General Police Updates Recount ~[.]~(black) Stats: Arrests and other cop related stats scoreboards can be viewed at https://web.saesrpg.uk. BR changes: Door speed now depends on the amount of online cops. BRs require 5 cops with below 40, or 10 cops with over 40 players online in total to be initiated. Cops now get rewarded on bank reset, 35k per uncracked safe ( cops who assisted in the bankrob but are outside the bank or dead at the time of the reset also get rewarded, but less than the ones inside the bank ) Squad members are counted towards the limit regardless of their spawn, gang members are never counted. Arresting: Wanted players can be arrested while sitting in a passenger seat of a locked car by entering the car as a driver. There doesn't need to be a wanted driver in order to access the locked vehicle. Arresting players that are in modded vehicles no longer causes network issue. - SAPD HQ

March 2021 General Police Updates Recount ~[.]~(black) New activity was added for the police team, Money Transporter. Players are now able to select the new spawns and deliver armored vehicles between banks for profit. However, criminals may attempt to kill the driver and steal the truck. On the other hand, police officers in the proximity of the truck will receive payment for escorting it to safety. In order for a bank robbery to be started, at least ten squad members or HLS agents are required to be online and active. Previously any police spawns were taken into account which resulted in frequent manipulation of the system. PBR requirements remain the same as they were. All squad members are now visible to each other on the map. This should allow for easier orientation and cooperation between different squads. One vehicle wrap per squad will be permitted to all squads lvl 3+, Used to low variation of police vehicles and limited customization options, squads can now appear more visually unique by using one custom wrap on any amount of squad vehicles in their possession. February 2020 Police Equipment Update A thorough analysis by the SAPD; has declared response policing units of the law enforcement as severely lacking modernisation in form of personal equipment in the recent years. In order to ensure safety of our citizens as well as ability of our personnel to carry out their duties effectively and comfortably, following changes/additions were made: State Troopers now have access to blue uniform (pulaski) in addition to their former ones. Police Officers and Sheriffs now have access to M4 assault rifle and 4 magazines totaling 200 rounds. January 2020 SAPD HQ Changes & PD Vehicles Addition Police vehicle fleet is everchanging as are the threats that our personnel face. To keep up with the times, some minor additions were implemented with purpose of assisting law enforcement while experiencing different issues or situations: Two vehicles were added to LS, LV and SF Police Departments each, one Sultan and one Buffalo. These cas are reserved solely for squad officials; in order to combat their inability to access police vehicles outside of their squad base. Police Sultans received an engine upgrade, their speed was increased to match that of Buffalos. Handling remains the same which provides law enforcement with multiple vehicle choices depending on situation and preference. Wed like to thank the retiring HQ members for their service throughout past years, SAPD wouldnt be where it is today without your effort and dedication, @Sam_ @Tut-Greco. New HQ members are likely to emerge soon in order to replace departing persons, until that point of time the SAPD HQ will operate normally but with decreased number of managers. October 2019 PC Rules Update Modern times require modern measures and in order to further encourage activity of PC personnel based on preferences of today, some changes were made to existent rules. PC members are no longer required to offer roleplay during car chases before attempting arrest. Instead they're required to issue two warnings before engaging, describing clear intention of arrest as well as command to surrender (/sur). If the suspect stops, they must be given time to surrender before the arrest, to get 75% off prison time for cooperation. Roleplay is encouraged but is not mandatory. Dog handler role may now be executed by any police member on police or squad team. Player using the dog spawn is responsible for following the PC rules related to dog spawn and is held responsible for any errors. Handler is no longer required to have PC diploma. This topic is made with intention of covering and publicizing all important updates and announcements related to San Andreas Police Department and its employees as well as their duties, ranging from changes made to rules and regulations to changes concerning equipment and daily tasks of law enforcement personnel. SAPA-SAPD Regulations (~[OUTDATED]~(red)): As of November 2019, recruitment of PC Testers as well as management of existent PC testers will from now be handled by SAPD HQ exclusively. SAPA membership is no longer a requirement. All SAPA-SAPD info in the spoiler below is no longer applicable. ::: SAPA maintains sovereign management and decision rights over daily procedures including but not limited to: manner of testing, choice of instructors, time required before becoming eligible for PC testing, design and issue of internal ranking structures, choice of trainings and other matters related to daily experience of a SAPA cadet and the academy operating as whole. SAPA designed tests which are classed as mandatory for becoming eligible for taking PC test must first be approved by SAPD/PC HQ. Current tests (Entry, DD, HD, PC) are all by default considered valid, this concerns tests that might be made in the future. SAPA PC Testers must first be approved by SAPD/PC HQ before assuming position of PC Tester within SAPA. This is the only function within SAPA that PC HQ has a say in, all other functions are granted and fulfilled as decided by internal SAPA management and are not directly related to PC. SAPA maintains the rights to answering SAPA applications according to their own standards and may accept or deny applicants based on their own regulations. SAPA may not deny/blacklist/ban or reject applications in any way that would permanently make the applicant unable to gain access to SAPA and PC. Applicants should not be be made to wait for period longer than thirty (30) days prior to being allowed to post an application again. Should an applicant receive denied status two (2) times in their SAPA application and feel that the negative answer was for some reason invalid, unfair or else; they may request PCD examination of their application. In case that errors are indeed found by PCD department, they will be forwarded to and resolved by SAPD HQ. SAPA and PC tests must be followed to the letter; any anomalies, mistakes, improvisations or errors spotted to have been occurring during systematic acquiral of PC diploma both during SAPA educational tests and PC entry tests will render the tested player unable to obtain the PC diploma until aforementioned violations are corrected to proper standards. Tester/instructor which was responsible for issuing inadequate sessions will be held accountable. SAPD/PC HQ maintains rights to testing and inviting players to PC based on their own observation and regulations, regardless of whether or not the player took part of SAPA programme and overall success/failure during that period. This is however uncommon and will happen rarely, if ever. Persons affiliated to gangs or criminal organizations are not permitted entrance to either SAPA or PC and will not be considered until leaving aforementioned gangs/organizations. ::: PC Rules Update and Clarification (~[VALID]~(lime)): PC members are able to use PC spawn in order to quickly respond to nearby bank robbery. This includes both players that are or are not currently member of a squad. Squad members are now allowed to spawn Trainee/Trooper in order to reach BR faster, whether they be PC or not. Misbehaving while spawned as non-pc Police member may still lead to getting kicked from PC. Any cases of violation of PC rules by PC members must be passed directly to PCD personnel and not handled by present staff/admin, unless simultaneously in violation of server rules, interrupting gameplay and/or granting advantage to one player over others; in which case the situation should be related to PCD after staff/admin imposed sanctions on the player in question. PC members are allowed to execute role of K-9 dog handler while not using default PC spawns, including but not limited to: Squad, State Trooper, SAI, HLS etc. They are however not allowed to do so with any spawn not classed as police team spawn (e.g. criminal, civilian). PC dog class spawned players must not travel, act or engage criminals on their own and must be instructed by their handler according to the situation. In case that the handler is killed in action, the dog must remain in same position until the handler arrives to collect it; unless actively partaking in ongoing combat based on commands previously issued by the handler, or acting in self defense. Dogs can only be transported using the back seat of four door vehicles, they may not travel on top of cars/bikes or lay in trunks. Prison Wardens serve the sole purpose of guarding the prison and may not gain major distance between themselves and the prison area unless actively chasing a fleeing suspect. Upon return to common duties not related to prison, wardens must select another spawn at the nearest disk. They are not allowed to partake in operations that are not tied to security of inner prison and its surrounding areas. Wardens may remain within the prison for unlimited time. Police Complaints Department PCD: PCD stands for Police Complaints Department and is under direct jurisdiction of SAPD and its HQ. Personnel within PCD are referred to as Detectives. PCD Function: Role of PCD is to receive and investigate complaints submitted by members of general community concerning SAPD and its subordinate departments as well as PC group entry programme. To collect information concerning PC, its current and potential personnel, to process and analyze aforementioned information and ultimately present the case to SAPD/PC HQ should they come to a conclusion that an action is necessary. Detectives: Role of PCD Detective is to detect. They are expected to frequently scan all available information related to SAPD and its subordinate departments as well as PC group entry programme. Should they find something they believe is an error, the case must be presented to PCD as whole to enter the discussion phase. Following the discussion, PCD may direct the fully elaborated case to SAPD/PC HQ, if the PCD believes an action needs to be taken and may present a solution they find fitting. SAPD HQ retains the sole right to final decision. PCD and its Detectives may NOT: Demand information from people who are not willing to provide any. Issue orders to SAPD personnel and personnel of its subordinate departments. Threaten or lead the person in any way to believe that refusing the detectives requests may have negative effects. Keep their findings to themselves during an ongoing investigation for whichever reason. Make decisions and issue punishments based on information found. Invite to, or remove persons from PC group. Test persons for PC entry. Act preventively. ~[All cases deemed valid by PCD must ultimately be presented to SAPD HQ which retains the right to final decision. With arrival of the new year, changes are coming to SAPD too! Lately few management related changes were made and we aim to get the things rolling once more starting with some new juicy additions. What you may expect in the weeks to come are new arrivals to PCD staff which we plan to increase activity of, and most excitingly conversion of SAPA from squad to group. This is a major change in terms of PC entry and recruitment, such as external tester role ceasing to exist and squad members becoming able to undergo academy programme without leaving their current squads. More changes may come, some more noticable some less, but all with purpose of making a more pleasant career for all members of law enforcement.
