  1. No. The whole point of putting it there was so if you wanted to check you would have to risk being closer to the cops.
  2. This is a temporary resolution to combat the massive amount of lag on the login screen (Which people were complaining about). A more permanent solution is on the way.
  3. @MatizZ said in [DISCUSSION] Future of SAES:RPG: Maybe we call somebody from outside , i mean a good scripter that make scripts and have free time to script , of course we will pay him together. @James bro im sure you will help us in donating ;) While I appreciate the sentiment, I don't believe you realize what the actual costs are for hiring a developer. I recently had this conversation with @Joshbond as well, where he estimated a developer would cost 60 an hour, which I do think is a good estimate. And making new gameplay features is gonna take a lot of time. Especially since they would have to be integrated into our current code base. So you would be looking at many many hours, for 60 an hour.. Donations simply do not cover that much. Now don't get me wrong, we appreciate all donations we get, but using them to pay developers just is not feasible.
  4. The above message is a lie, told to you by big black.

Not cops who are being chased down by other cops. Thats common sense. @Joshbond said in Kain and Joe again abuse their 'privilege': I understand your view, however in this circumstance it is clearly unjust the attempt arrest. @Joshbond said in Kain and Joe again abuse their 'privilege': The fact that the FBI Leader is encouraging and applauding FBI members for breaking squad rules is shameful and disappointing. It just shows that FBI is really going down hill. All of the above statements are false. You do not have to abide by PC rules when not spawned as PC. Avoiding arrest works exactly the same for both cops and criminals. Attempting to arrest someone who is wanted is perfectly just. The fact that the FBI leader doesn't give in to a rulebreaker's whining is perfectly fine. Plus technically neither Kain nor Joe broke any squad or PC rules, as they didn't use their squad or PC spawn to arrest you. They used the adminpanel to arrest you after you broke the server rules. But you are wrong Nanobob as they did attempt to arrest me while spawned as FBI. Are you blind to that or just arrogant? If I attempt to kill someone is still attempted Murder not just 'oh well you did not murder them so we will let you off'..... use common sense The leader of FBI clearly did applaude Joe and Kain for attempting to break FBI squad rules. Which is poor leadership and showing that FBI is lacking the correct disipline and gives certain members 'special treatment' as they think they are above the law. Murder != attempted murder But kidding aside, that's not poor leadership at all. In fact, I completely agree with his judgement. So let me get this right nanobob. You agree with the leader of a level 4 squad who applaudes there members for purposefully and knowingly attempting to break their squad rule? No, I applaud him for being lenient on the rules, using his senes as to where it is sensible to enforce, and where it would be pathetic to enforce them.

  9. @kajobecha2 said in The absurdity of SAES patch changes (cops, taser vs m4, ping): @bazuka36 I don't think the drug has anything to do with the range and area of the shot. But in fact more criminals have been using drugs lately. I will be grateful if any Programmer will check it realistically, because something is wrong. By the way, I hope that the mistakes I mentioned here will be fixed and not skipped. ^_^ I've checked the commit history. No changes were made to weapon stats.
  10. @kajobecha2 said in The absurdity of SAES patch changes (cops, taser vs m4, ping): It bothers me that someone came up with such an idea to improve the m4, sniper rifle and combat shotgun. This is completely illogical and absurd. Uhm... I don't think anything has changed to the weapons you mention?
  11. @Joshbond said in Server Update v1.5.1: @Brophy Will do but im pretty sure its been a lasting issue for the last 7 years which has been raised plenty of times. But is it on the bug tracker?
  12. Why not generate them at runtime?
  13. I don't see what the point would be of opening spotify in MTA, just use your browser or the spotify desktop app. (Same goes for youtube). Technically whilst we could allow you to open Spotify ingame using an ingame browser these browsers do not store persistent data across sessions. So no cookies, which means you will have to log in again every time you connect to the server. Legally, opening a browser is no problem, implementing our own spotify player would be a problem. Also since the point of youtube came up, downloading (or converting) mp3s from youtube is against Youtube's terms of service, so no matter whether or not this is possible we will not support it.
  14. I haven't read this all but somewhere in your wall of words I saw you say something about Teddy not being nice. And I want to make sure you know this. Yes, Teddy is a fucking asshole.

  22. A little while ago GM announced a new set of rules, which included it's now allowed to use shaders in your mapping files. I've spent a couple hours creating a tool to create these shaders. The tool can be download here. The downloaded file includes both an installer and a readme file for installation instructions, and usage instructions. So without further ado, here's a very simple example of a shader: Before: After: NanoBob Additional information: To get images: http://dev.prineside.com/en/gtasa_samp_model_id/ We'll take the sav wall as example Find the object id : 16500 and search in that website it will spits out some results and you pick the one you need. Click the objects and it shows more details Then you are able to view what the current texture files are by pressing a new window will open and shows every texture included. but all we need is drvin_back Save the image to a random folder and load it into photoshop and enjoy shadering
