It is just annoying to just sit there and let your vehicle take the shots without even losing 1 HP. The vehicles are armored, yes, but they eventually blow up. Would it be possible to make the transport vans indestructible so even if the criminals try to destroy the truck (which I can't understand why they don't get the money too) in the name of killing the driver, the vehicle wouldn't destroy. Also another question I had, can the tires be shot to cripple the mobility of the van, which makes it very easy to steal, or not? The rules state that shooting the truck is prohibited, are tires included in this rule? EDIT: Also In my opinion, a MT rulebook should be added in the server rules part of the forum. People need to be enlightened about all aspects of the money transfer script, rules, and mechanics. Shooting and damaging the truck is no problem, as long as you are doing it in an attempt to steal it. Straight up destroying the truck however is a problem, as that is simply DM.

Making the hitbox bigger is not possible, and as you already suspect making the driver take damage when the vehicle is shot would likely be far too overpowered. (Plus it wouldn't make sense being an armored truck.) And given what I've seen in the past couple of days, criminals seem to have no trouble killing the driver if they slow down the vehicle first. They were deliberately chosen to not receive a taser and/or nightstick, but rather a colt and a shotgun to prevent them from acting like "normal cops". While I do think the ideas you have regarding the different ways to arrest are interesting, that would be something that is not in the scope of the job, but rather a potential overhaul of arresting itself. @corpseeeeeeee said in Money Transporter Job: last but not least, in my short period, I've chased a few transporter being chased by crims, some of them destroy the car by driving in gas pumps or driving to somewhere with water to drown, pretty much like avoiding, what if you make that a reportable offense? It can avoid criminals "dming" problems, so then you can shoot unlimited amount of bullets into truck and stick to trying to kill the driver. I think its more irl style too, how many money trucks you can blow up with gun? I think many is bullet proof. What we might consider doing is buffing the health, but it will not be made indestructible.

Also the script still needs to be developed, theres a lots things to work on atm. Beside that its a great idea to bring new things to the server. Well yes, the script is primarily a job for cops, however criminals are incorporated into it. No additional rules have been added to support this job though, so I'm not sure what "all these rules" are that is controlling the criminals? Furthermore if you believe you know of some areas that still need to be developed feel free to tell me what those areas are and suggested improvements.

Deathmatching is still deathmatching. If you have a valid reason to attack someone, then it is not deathmatching. Trying to steal someone's transport van is a valid reason. Trying to destroy it is not. And for cops it also follows the same concept. Defending a transport van from attackers is a good reason to attack people. And once someone steals the van they will be wanted so you can do whatever you can normally do in a police chase.
  6. A new job has been added to the server, being a money transporter. A money Transporter spawn has been added to the Police teams in LS, SF and LV. As money transporter, enter a securicar and you will be instructed to pick money up at one of the city banks, and bring it to the Federal Mint in SF. Police (Police, Squads and Secret Service) are able to escort the transport, and earn money for escorting it. The longer you have been with the transport, the more money you gain If you are escorting multiple money transports at once you will get paid for each transport. Criminals can steal the money transport, and deliver it to a safe-house to get the money that was being transported.

A better idea would be to limit this only to hospitals and only apply to players who have hospital immunity anyway. You couldn't implement this for all disks because the ability to become instantly immune to damage is far too strong. This could be counteracted by only setting the vehicle to be collisionless towards other vehicles already in the spawn location at that time, and removing it as soon as the vehicle leaves it. This means the vehicle can still be shot and damaged, and even rammed by vehicles that were outside of the spawn position at the moment of spawning.
