Roleplay #1 - "The Deployment of SRT Anti-Gang Unit"

Roleplay explanation: As part of the recent deployment of Special Response Team anti-gang unit in the state of San Andreas, our team is tasked with first gathering intel on our opposing forces and figure out what exactly are these organizations up to. 

At 22.00 hours, an unmarked unit was regularly patrolling the streets of Los Santos when he came across a territory that had multiple vehicles in all corners, all with light or darker shades of brown. Immediately spotting the area as a possible gang territory, the unmarked unit took it upon himself to investigate further. After investigating further, there had been many businesses under the same ownership, our experience tells us that cannot be a coincidence. Going further into the investigation, there were marked vehicles which led us to believe they are involved in illegal activities. 



Taking a look from the image above, you can see that these vehicles are marked with the name "Renegades" and they have AK47's as their sign of weapon usage or alleged weapon production, these are high grade weapons, illegal to police personnel. Not only is the markings of their vehicles leading us to believe they are involved in illegal matters, they also possess a Forklift Operator: which to our knowledge is used to transport legal or illegal goods from one area to the other, mostly illegal. 

This was the all the intel gathered from just a few minutes of scouting around, we will keep unmarked units scouting the area for the next upcoming days and should they arise any attention, we will execute a warrant to deploy our anti-drug unit for further actions.

On the 5th of April 2024, it was reported by officials of the Government of San Andreas that gangs and drug cartels had gotten way out of control. It automatically called each existing agency into question -- "Who would have the means to put them behind bars?" There arose a need for a specialized force capable of handling the most dangerous gangs and drug cartels, domestically and internationally. This incident forced a new squadron, known to be the Special Response Team - a highly trained and elite squadron tasked with making a gang & drug free San Andreas. The city of San Andreas found itself in desperate need of a rapid and adaptable response force, capable of handling these mentioned threats.

Many agents and decorated police officers from different squadron recognizing this behavior, immediately wrote a letter of resignation to their higher commands. They knew they needed to be part of this upcoming new force, all having the same purpose and vision: to be part of this specialized unit that would serve the state of San Andreas against the most dangerous gang and drug cartels. Under the command of Infinity, a decorated officer having served both the military and police over a decade, SRT was formed. 

All of our members are handpicked for their dedication and ability to thrive under extreme pressure not to mention exceptional skill in policing. They bring in their own uniqueness to the squad having had prior skills in tactical combat and intelligence gathering. Together with the chief, they were then involved in intense police training to prepare themselves to go up against any situation. As the dedication continued, they quickly earned a reputation for their dedication and fearlessness, laughing in the face of danger.

Our squad role is divided into two parts. One division being the Gang Suppression division, handling gangs & drug cartels and the second being our Black Ops Unit division, a unit specialized in handling special operations carried out by the most elite members of the squad.

Gang Suppression Division

Gang Unit

Our gang unit are tasked with gathering gang intel and executing arrest warrants once enough information has been gathered. We are specialized with combatting against all enemy forces, foreign or domestic, all ways possible be it through air, ground or sea, we will get to you.

Unit Responsibilities

Gang Suppression

• During squad patrols, we prioritize team effort in order to suppress gangs in San Andreas who are actively involved in criminal activities. We are involved in a weekly police training course, which allow our members to prepare themselves for what they are going up against.
• Being consistent in our job allows us to be prepared to take down gangs easier. With the consistency, we can also prepare other agencies and local authorities to be prepared as well.

Gang Intelligence

• As a squad, we are actively involved in gathering information in how different organizations operate. With this information, it allows us to deploy different tactical strategies tore organizations. Take for example, Santucci Mob and Underground Empire, these are the only 2 gangs which dare to have outside defenders whenever involved in a bank robbery. That prepares us before hand to know what we are going up against before we deploy.
• Gathering gang information also prepares us to inform other agencies correctly and plan take down operations.
   

Narcotics Unit

Our anti-drug unit are tasked with handling drug-related gangs. We aim for a drug-free San Andreas so we are on the constant move of checking for all possibilities of drug trafficking, use of drugs, drug production, illegal drug sells, etc.

Unit Responsibilities:

Drug Intervention

• We investigate all type of drug substances. If we believe any organization is involved in illegal drug substances, domestically or internationally, we prepare the prosecution of those gangs by any means necessary. We highly believe this could bring us to catch other bigger drug cartels and narco-terrorist related gangs as well.

Unit Coordination

• In investigating drugs and narco-terrorist related organizations, it prepares us to detect and prevent the harm these chemicals and substances cause upon the citizens of San Andreas. 
• In addition, it prepares  us to deny future drug revenues and drug trafficking with the soul purpose of reducing the availability of these drugs being available internationally. 

Black Ops Unit

Our special reconnaissance & sabotage unit, known to be the "Black Ops Unit" are specialized in professional information gathering & trained to handle any high-risk situation they encounter. This unit is for pro-active cops part of the squad who has proved themselves not only worthy but also very skilled.

Unit Responsibilities:

The soul responsibility of this unit is to gather intel about any opposing threat on the server. We study our enemies strategies: the way they think, who are their allies or rivals, their position and their responsibilities within their organization and how an organization conducts themselves. This information allows us to get a much more clear picture of what we are up against and know how we could be ready to counterattack said organizations.

With the information gathered through our special recon, our Black Ops unit execute special operations to achieve their goal.
 

Black Ops Unit:

Trained to be the best, members part of this unit have top resources in the squad. Ranging from combat shotguns and M4s with Sniper, Teargas and so on. These members are called upon to be the first responders to serve as anti-terrorism and bank robberies first responders. They are the special forces of the team and they have the means to do it going through constant police training.
 

Why are we named "Black Ops"?

The name "Black Ops" generates from the purpose of our squad, we're "Black Panthers" and as such, we tend to be unseen when conducting such "black" operations. All of our operations are off the radar and not reported to any government officials. There is a secret within us and it cannot be revealed.

These are our squad rules. Failure to comply will lead to dismissal from the squad all together without any warning being issued. We take the rules and laws of both squad and server very serious as its what shapes our squad and overall reputation. With that being said, we also take punishment logs very serious. Having recent punishments can lead to a denial.

1. Follow all the rules of the server. That also includes rules of other memberships you possess on the game.
2. Always have a good attitude tore everyone on the game, regardless of status, titles, sex and other discriminatory category.
3. You are expected to follow direct orders from higher commanding officers. If you believe your CO is out of hand, contact higher management in the squad.
4. We expect you to follow the rules of the server placed for cops: that includes but not limited to, play fair with everyone. You should be attempting to arrest before using lethal force. 5. If you're encountering a civilian, always offer to RP or bribe, they're harmless majority of the times and just want to earn legal money.
6. Being part of our squad means you're here to contribute in any way whatsoever. We expect you to be active (or on) in a daily basis for at least 1-2 hours. If it is within your possibility, try hosting an activity to post on our media archive.
7. We expect you to wear our tags at all time unless another group requests you to have theirs while you're spawned.
8. We do not actively chase anyone who is under 15 wanted stars unless you're being attacked or putting a stop to an activity.




"With great power comes great responsibility"

Our squad is equipped with an exam system. There are exams you must pass in order to join our squad. We want to know that you're equipped with enough experience to be able to join our ranks. Don't lose hope, if you fail that doesn't mean you cannot join: we will train you if it is necessary and get you prepared to join our ranks.

Not only do you pass an exam to join our squad, but you must periodically be tested to rank up within the squad. It is completely optional. But to reach certain ranks, you must pass certain tests which let us know not only are you experienced, but you are willing to take that experience into teaching others to also reach that level.

Phase 1 - Arresting
As a police officer, you must know how to use your nightstick and taser. In this phase, you will be tested to see how well you do to apprehend a wanted suspect. You will have two (2) tries, if you fail to apprehend the suspect, you will automatically fail the whole test.

This is up to whoever is being tested, you may choose whichever suits you best.
Test explanation: The individual being tested can choose whether to chase a random criminal or have the tester spawn as a criminal. Keep in mind, the rules above will apply, you have a maximum of two tries to apprehend the suspect. You cannot use lethal force, you must arrest the suspect.

Phase 2 - Driving
Driving is very important. We expect you to at least know the whereabouts of few locations in the game. We're not asking for you to know where is each gang base located, but that you could be given a location and drive to it without needing guidance. Driving is also important when it comes to chasing criminals: we don't want you running into explosives or in the middle of a crowd where you will be instantly shot to death.

Test explanation: The individual being tested must drive from LS bank to LV bank in under 2 minutes and 30 seconds using Police SF. You are only permitted to have 5% or lower of vehicle damage. Any damage above 5% will have you restart the phase. You have two tries to pass this phase.

Phase 3 - Shooting
Shooting is also very important. Whether you're using a shotgun to slow criminals down, combat shotgun or M4 for lethal purposes or just sniping from far distance. You must be at least average for us to consider you. Keep in mind, not always will you be backed up by a team so you must sometimes carry all the weight on your shoulders.

Test explanation: The individual being tested will perform one on one combat battles with the tester at random areas chosen by the tester. It will be three different areas, simulating a real scenario should you have to use lethal force against a criminal.

In order to become part of our squad, you must be aware of all the rules posted above and you must be aware of the server rules and laws posted in the F1 in-game menu. Failure to abide by the squad and server rules will be removed immediately.

1. You must be 16 years old and older to apply for our squad.
2. You must have some police knowledge or have an idea of how the police side works. 
3. You must be part of our Discord server.
4. You must have been hanging around our members before getting to join us. We want to know that you're interested in the squad.

I disagree with the suggestion. /loc gives no advantage or disadvantage whatsoever to either side. 'K' panel does give us an advantage, if you really know how to use the map tore your advantage, you can plan how to approach criminals and kill them from far without being easily targeted.

SAES has already implemented their own proximity blip system, and while I think it made the server seem more dead it added a realistic touch, so we're able to use it tore our advantage from all sides. Also, not everything has to be based on logic or realism, keep in mind it is still a virtual game.

The squad you applied for is closed for good. I did notice you were new, I managed to play with you a few times in-game. I am going to advice you to join SAPA if you are interested in playing as a cop in the server. SAPA is a police academy group which trains newcomers into furthering their police career. You could choose to stay in SAPA or join SWAT and other memberships that SAPA offer as courses for those who are part of the squad.

I agree with the idea. Instead of adding an option to mod shop, make it a command to go from normal mode into drift mode and vice versa.

@jordskjelv I love the suggestion. Work on a map for the Part 1 of the turf suggestion & I can work to provide a code for it. With that, we have something to present to SAES HQ to make the process of the idea getting added or not quicker.
