  2. @Terry as written in the topic, there was a voting made by Kain and it is clear that the majority does not agree with your stance on Speed. That's why it is better to find a common ground that would satisfy both sides at least, and this suggestion could be one. Another thing I've stated is that this suggestion is just the first step for new features in the future hopefully. The idea could be expanded to even an inventory system which may solve your problem about having to buy drugs everytime, but as I honestly don't see SAES implementing something big anytime soon, suggesting the entire idea step by step would be better @James - Perhaps explain why it is bad?

  5. With all these discussions going on, we finally managed to get on a common ground with certain individuals from the cop side. This suggestion could be a good first step for future agreements and possible features. The idea (Thanks to @Jay for the core of the idea) is to place vending machines at hospital or a little further away from the bank. The vending machines would offer products such as an energy drink which could enhance the speed and other products which could f.e heal the players; we can discuss the products in more detail here, and everyone is free to suggest anything else that could be added in the vending machine. I want to focus on the speed feature mainly. The general purpose of this suggestion is that, instead of removing scripts to balance the sides, the server should add new features to make it more challenging and enjoyable. As the speed feature was being discussed lately(Important remark: the discussion was not just about balancing both sides but also about the script being a 'silly' mechanic. But as the poll in Kain's topic has shown, the majority does not agree with removing the speed feature, namely because it is fun to use), this is how the vending machine could stop the discussions about speed or drugs dealers in general: The vending machine could sell an energy drink which gives everyone 1.15, 1.2 or 1.25 more speed. Honestly I think 1.2 is more fair and you will understand after reading the next points Drugs dealers will still sell a speed drug which SHOULD be faster than the energy drink in the vending machine, but both the seller and the buyer will get wanted stars, THUS @Lincoln's suggestion should be reconsidered, and the drug will be more expensive. This will get rid of cops spawning as drugs dealer at BR and the general drugs dealers camping at hospital to sell as there is a vending machine which everyone can access, which could potentially improve the economy as well, as the speed feature is being over-bought. Finally, criminals won't be able to camp at jail unwanted with drugs, so that they can prepare themselves to rush into jail easily. As the current speed drug makes you 1.3 times faster, I propose that buying the energy drink must make you 1.2 in this case, or even 1.15, as cops already have shotgun, but this could be discussed. Personally, I think this vending machine has way more pros than cons and definitely is a way to improve the server, balancing both sides and the economy. As this idea is seriously being considered by certain staff members, I would like to know your opinions and if you agree with the idea, maybe share suggestions what other products could be added to the vending machine. Cops get to use the military guns regardless of this suggestion being implemented or not. What makes it even worse is that majority of the voters are people from the cop side, so they won't be affected by this suggestion. I get it that all of you get mad when someone from the criminal side suggests something that may not be in favour of cops, but don't go even lower and suggest something like this lol. This is another example of where the fun aspect of the server gets overlooked, so I disagree with this idea.
  7. Honestly if I were to give my solution, I would say let cops earn money from killing criminals in br, but let the crims respawn instead of getting jailed. Sounds like a compromise, no? Maybe have it like that instead of complete removal of killarrest

The criminals didnt have a problem with it when the cops were inactive, because they were able to secure each and every single BR. Now that we have made a comeback, yall gotta find something to nerf so you all could go back to robbing banks asif it was a walk in the park. Also just to clarify i disagree with your suggestion not u, we luv ya! Hhh love back men. I think everyone agrees that it was not a problem when cops were inactive. Thats why killarrest was brought in obviously. So if the reason of killarrest was to balance crims and cops, and now cops managed to get back active and actually strategic. Doesn't that mean that the reason of killarrest has been nullified? And if so, what is the purpose of killarrest now, other than it being an extra tool? Why not have crims getting killed on same level as cops, meaning: without jailtime? Becuase you know damn well that the BR would be impossible without such addition. This is where you and I will keep disagreeing. So unless you can convince me why removing killarrest will impact the cop side a lot - and it has been said earlier, f.e our own failed bankrobs weren't even due to killarrest - I don't think we should continue or else we'll just be going in circles and wasting time

Statistically speaking bank robs are still favoured for criminals, even since the changes to LV bank and the closure of LS bank. ThC failing 2 bank robs yesterday is what has caused this topic, you can say that this is a discussion that's been had in private for a long time and I would believe you when you say that - but what has made this be brought to the public by the leader of ThC is the fact that gang yesterday failed 2 bank robs. They did not fail due to kill arrest - from their own admission it was a police dog running around that caused them to fail, because criminals killed eachother and actually ended up killing a ThC cracker. If the criminals didn't do this, with the amount of defense there, including CLO, the bank rob would likely not have failed. If ThC didn't start a second BR in SF with low numbers, due to teddy and other ThC also returning to LV at the same time, the SF bank rob may have also succeeded. In both cases there are clear and obvious reasons why the bank robs failed, that have nothing at all to do with kill arrest. Take us back to the days before kill arrest if you can remember them, playing as a cop in a bank rob or at the jail was impossible and there was realistically no way of winning. I think making a MASSIVE change like this, simply because the success rate is swinging to 50% (ish) is incredibly short sighted. If anything, smaller changes should come first - why would you start out with one of the biggest changes you could possibly make without first suggesting smaller more incremental changes? My God. You literally got witnesses showing up and confirming what I said and you still prefer to stick to your own assumptions (changing the ENTIRE topic) even though you haven't seen our conversations nor do you have any chat snippet where I spoke about the 2 brs. Believe me, I couldn't careless about the 2 failed brs yesterday. Heck, you confirmed it yourself, they failed due to pc dogs not even killarrest smh Joe, clearly you're stubborn, thus you're not welcome to join the discussion. Have a good day men!!

You need to look at who is online. When we all do login, the amount of cops increase, lets say there are maybe 40% cops and 60% crims, and given that cops already can call DE, HLS and who knows SS soon when there is just 1 CLO + have access to dog spawn which has way more effect than you think + HLS can be given permission to raid BRs without occurence of CLO at times, you can't just look at the numbers. Now, seeing that cops are really well organized, does killarrest still fulfill its purpose now? Lets not pretend cops aren't using drugs..

  15. Hello everyone, Not long time ago, the killarrest feature was introduced to balance the crim and cop side. Seeing that the cop side is now organized and capable of stopping bankrobberies easily, I believe the killarrest feature does no longer fulfill its purpose as the crim and cop side are already balanced without the feature. For this reason I would like to suggest the removal of this feature, and of course, we can have a discussion in this topic.
