  2. @Moley said in ABC:

Why the fuck do you want a weapon customization script while you can just download weapon skins for the weapons. This ain't some call of duty game nigga this is GTA why on earth do you need customization?

    @Element said in ABC:

@GorillaSnacks Yeap, as @Moley said, there's no reason in adding a weapons customization/Mod considering the fact that the server is a bit laggy already, so adding useless mods to the server such as weapons customization would be pretty much useless and laggy at some point, so yeah feel free to install weapons customization by yourself.

    Here's a pretty simple & quick tutorial:

The first draft that I saw he made had a prototype of how the system would be. It had options for which type of ammunition goes into your weapon. For example you could choose between 5.56 and 7.62 for your rifle, giving you an option to fire more rounds per magazine or fire more damage with smaller magazine.
I didn't see anything about texture modifications but I might be wrong. There's also lack of context for us to give an opinion now that the thread's content is removed.

  3. Back when I edited our crown vic and few other cop car handlings I added the mass multiplier with the PIT maneuvers in mind, so that police officers are able to execute a PIT without being swept off the road as they hit the rear end of the escaping vehicle.
I thought this would be the best option at the time, and i'm glad to see feedback from you guys so that a potential resolution to the mentioned issues can be done.
I want to highlight an issue tho, cops need to be able to temporarily stop a vehicle without firing shots at a vehicle like maniacs eh?

I'd be up for cutting down on the weight a tad bit for Crown Vic the PIT MASTER. I also have no issues dropping the weight for other vehicles with the exception for Enforcer, FBI truck and Fire truck.

  4. I had just exited academy headquarters and taken on the onramp to south western highways, as I was passed by a speeding
feltzer going well past the limit. The driver pulled over after taking the offramp to a safe location.

The driver was cooperative during the traffic stop. He received a citation and a warning on his license.

  5. Due to a fire alarm of an aircraft heating up beyond the allowed limits in hangars, I had been residing in the airport for a good hour or two. After a while I saw a pink glendale driving around the restricted area of the airport, wheaving in and out of air traffic, crashing into barriers and drifting around. I initiated an armed stop of the vehicle and conducted an arrest while maintaining radio communication. The suspect was armed with a handgun 'Colt 45' and charged with trespass, reckless driving and felon with possession of a firearm.

  6. Patrolling Blueberry, RC, I received a disturbance call from Blueberry Acres farm. Two employees had been recklessly driving and taunting eachother and that caused alarm for a passerby. As I arrived at scene, I was met by mr. Nikolay who explained that his fellow farmer had been ramming his truck after an arguement.

Mr. Andrzej (aggressor) was taken into custody for alleged assault by vehicle and interrogated at our headquarters.

  8. A red big rig was reported speeding across Las Venturas southern highways. I responded to the area and lost sight of the rig. Later when driving towards Tierra Robada, I saw a red rig speeding full throttle at San Fierro bridge. It took me all the way to Whetstone to catch up, and unfortunately the driver had already delivered his trailer, resulting in a more manuevreable truck during the to-come pursuit.
Due to the nature of the truck being heavier and larger than our patrol vehicles, we were not able to stop it by PIT maneuvres.

Spike strips were deployed south of San Fierro highway onramp and sucessfully hit all of the left hand side's wheels. The truck came to an immediate stop at southern part of the highway, where the driver was held under gunpoint and attempted to be taken into custody. A citizen had tried to intervene and prevent his arrest, resulting in being shot. The citizen who then became suspect for assault on officers, was found deceased at the scene. I sustained minor injuries to my back and was brought to Santa Flora hospital for treatment.

  9. A black van driven by a delivery driver, who at that time was unknown, had an invalid driver's license. We spoke to the driver and had a quick look around the van. Upon acknowledging the situation with the driver, he made a run for it and then led on a short foot pursuit. Mr. V was apprehended with tasers drawn. He was then transported to the nearby jail at SAPA headquarters for a temporary over night stay.

No cartridges or bullets were fired in this incident.

  10. I had observed a man looking confused on the side of the car wash. He was holding an unindentified object, which at closer range I realised was a micromachine gun. The suspect Mick A. was given clear commands and I was able to conduct a thorough search after taking him into custody.

Hey @Tut-Greco, honestly I don't care for the other 9 gobshits that voted no, but may I know why you did? I wonder if it's a personal thing against me that you voted no because you didn't even comment here what are your thoughts on it, that's what it seems though.

you're not entitled to hear anyone's opinion. if you're that bothered by downvotes, perhaps you should reconsider making suggestions.

Ah yeah, you voted no because of a personal issue you have against me, that is indeed very mature for your part, and the fact you are indirectly saying it is even better - well done buddy!

Do you even read? I said I don't care about the other 9 that downvoted, but you, well it's obvious you did it just for pure hate, if someone else had made this suggestion like one of your shitty virtual friends of SAES then it wouldn't have happened this way, because you haven't even brought an argument of why you voted no - you yourself admitted indirectly like I said that you voted against the suggestion because you are against me, lol, pathetic. I'll suggest what I want, because good thing there's at least freedom of expression on the server!

Ah you hate me, oh well! Time to grow up I guess? Yeah, I'm not the best one to say this? Maybe. I had errors in the past, I did shit, and who the fuck cares? Just you and a few other twats but that's it. It's a game, wohoo! And you're attacking me with something I did more than a year ago? lol.

Now I don't even wanna hear your opinion, because it's probably shit, let me say it again, you simply voted no because you don't like me, and not the suggestion, well, maybe you should put your ego aside, or at least not even get into a poll or discussion where you don't have absolutely anything to contribute.

:harriot: Now if you want don't even read or reply to what I said, I just had to expose the fact of why you voted no and didn't even bring a fucking valid argument on this suggestion, absolutely n-o-t-h-i-n-g.

great to see you back, Combine!

  13. I've had this taken up with other developers and the answer was that the server is a clusterfuck when it comes to emergency vehicles, as they're stored in numerous resources and all needs to be changed.

If it was happening, we would change all emergency vehicles accordingly and remove any emergency equipment so that they'd resemble civilian vehicles and thus be purchasable in carshops for both sides.

  14. @Marwyn said in Change taser to shoot once at a time:

As you know taser shoots 2 times before having to reload which is unrealistic and kind of over powered to be honest .

There are dozens of unrealistic things in SAES yet you choose to nerf one of the most important tools in the server? I think if SAES' goal was to provide a realistic experience, you would find crime life severely destroyed and unplayable for the majority. It's important to look from both cop & crim side before nerfing something for not being realistic
