Qualities you can offer: Experience I've been playing regularly this game and this server for around 8 or 9 years, I've seen the best and the worst examples a community can possess and how to solve it. I've also been leading AA for around 4 years and I've encountered several examples that required some player handling, so I'm no stranger to people rulebreaking and causing troubles. Carefully pondering my actions Related to my years of leadership, I consider myself someone who does not take rash actions, I always think about all the possible actions I can take to solve a problem and its possible consequences, so as to weight which one has the best outcome. If there's one thing that can cause a terrible mess is a miscalculated action, so I take the effort and time to devise all the possible outcomes, so the action may be as fair and effective as possible, both to the troublemaker and those who suffered from those troubles. Teamworker I try to do not take actions by myself and always look for external opinions, and advice if it's needed, since a fluid communication between all parts goes a long way to avoid misinterpretations. Patience I'm very patient in debates and gathering information, so I can spend as much as needed gathering information from players. It is also effective when explaining someone why he/she's being punished, so this player may know why and what he did wrong and avoid it in the future. Your weaknesses: I consider myself a regular player, I don't consider myself an exorbitant player who has this flawless quality or that, I possess any same vulnerability as any other, the key is to not let these vulnerabilities mess with your actions as a staff, for instance. They can be real life situations that may affect your judgment and decisions negatively, or your personal opinion about someone. However, I think talking with several people and look for external inputs about something helps mitigate the effect of these outside factors, as it helps seeing the bigger picture. Reason for application: I rarely applied for Staff or SAES places over these years, as I decided to focus on reviving a gang which had almost died and I can proudly say it has been accomplished. With this experience gathered and my fellow HQs sharing the load with me, I think I can make use of this experience dealing with community issues, thus I decided it may be a good time to give it a shot.   11. ^[ ] ^[ ] About 9 years ago, 27th of February 2011, a random group of buddies decided to create a gang which has survived over all these years: Arms Assassins! And some of them... By the words of one of our HQ, @ILLUSION : 9 years ago today, a group of friends created this gang not knowing for how long it was going to last... Today, we are celebrating our 9th anniversary keeping our title of "oldest gang alive". In 9 years, a lot of faces in the gang changed, but there is one thing always stayed the same: The spirit that binds all the members together and keeps the gang alive, the feeling we get whenever we see the colour and emblem of Arms Assasins. We are not just a gang in a game, we are a huge group of real friends who worry about each other when we don't see an AA for a time. We will be doing our best for this gang till we pass the torch to newer faces just like how we were passed the torch once. For some people this gang is a nostalgia which can never be let go. We thank to everyone who have made efforts to make this gang what it is today. We also owe a debt of gratitude to SAES:RPG which allowed such a group of friends to come together and enjoy the game for a long time. We wish a happy birthday to all our members once again. Illusion pretty much summed it all, this gang managed to stay alive by staying united specially in the harsher times, when its life force was mostly at risk, and because of that endurance, people who stay with us for a lot of time have a consensus and common feeling that they're at "home", when they play in this server as part of this gang, they're not just in a gang, they're in a family. We thank to those who have stayed with us so far, and also those who contributed a lot in the past and moved on, everyone has had his/her share in building this great organisation, which is loved by some, liked by many, and probably disliked by some as well.   13. The chat thing is fun however I think it's urgent for something to clarify who's helping who in turfwars. I sometimes find myself pondering if I should shoot that crim or gang member because they're not allied nor related to the gang I am turfing, and they end up killing me in the meantime. Something to put helpers linked to the gang they're helping is seriously helpful.
  14. Quick announcement The application format has been a bit updated. The previous applicants do not need to change their applications, however the people who apply after this should pay attention not to post the wrong format so head to the first post here, the original, to copy the right one. Answers for the current applications are still being discussed and should be concluded soon. AA :p

Instead of removing the explosives all together, why not create several multiple spawn places, lets say maybe 3, across different places in the jail, with the same exact spawn details (Warden 1, Warden 2, Warden 3,...) so it gives more freedom to cops, avoids any issues of getting bombed by nades accidentely which I understand is an issue, even though it may be accidental? Removing things just because they cause an issue shouldn't be the final solution, only a last resort, if there's ways to solve them without taking away gameplay options. Creating different spawn locations for the exact same spawn would give cops the opportunity also to coordinate and flank criminals whereas criminals would need to keep a lookout as to not get flanked. It's all a matter of teamwork if this was implemented, and nothing had been removed. Also if the spawn locations were placed correctly, there's a chance that if people throwing nades to that location is directly spawn killing and this would avoid any complications and misunderstanding of situations. If we keep suggesting removal of things as the minimal issue appears, soon I won't be able to drive across LV X at more then 50m/h because I may stumble by accident on some cops chasing a criminal, giving him a chance to go away. Don't break the game.
