Activity Count: #2 Activity Type: Roleplay Participants: @Will & I Description: It was a quiet night for me, there had been minimal calls and minimal action needed from me. I decided I would stop into the Burger Shot for a burger since I had so much free time, I got my order and came back outside to my ambulance. I stood there for a few moments, enjoying my feast, suddenly I heard my radio making sounds. I began to listen intensely at what was being said, dispatch said "Protocol 30, Response Amber" I had to process what that was for a second, I then realized that was traumatic injury and it was life-threatening. I asked dispatch for more information, all they could tell me was a man had multiple logs of wood fall onto his leg and/or foot and he was heading in and out of consciousness. I threw my burger to the ground and quickly got into my ambulance. I got the location from the dispatcher, and I headed off in that direction with the sirens and lights blaring. As I was in San Fierro, it took about 10 minutes to reach the location of the man. As I was approaching I was preparing myself for what I may see, "its just wood, surely can't do that much damage" I thought to myself. I approached the call site and instantly spotted the patient, I also spotted the injury. "Oh fuck!" I said as I tried to compose myself, this looked bad. I rushed over to the man, he was barely conscious when I got to him. "What happened?" I patiently awaited his reply. "A...Log....Fell....On...Me" He said with a look of despair in his eyes. I examined his leg and replied "Yea, I can see that sir. I'm sorry to tell you this but there is at least a dozen logs on your leg" The man still going in and out of consciousness, mumbled back to me "Oh fuck... I thought it was one" I reassured him he was going to be okay, I looked at him seeing the fear in his eyes. While I examined him I tried to get some more information about him to calm his nerves and to distract him from the severe pain. I said in the utmost calmest voice I could, "So what is your name?" Looking confused, he replied "Willy" I smiled at him and once again reassured him it would be okay. "Willy is the name of a famous singer you know?" Still attempting to distract him from the pain. As I continued making conversation and attempting to keep him both distracted and conscious, I began to realize there was no hope for this foot. It was just too badly injured and the only way to remove him in time to save his life would be an amputation. I looked Willy in the eyes and I broke the news to him. "Look Willy, I'm sorry but I can't save your foot, if you want to live I will have to amputate it" His eyes opened widely and he gave me a glare, I kept my composure as I didn't want to mention the amount of blood he was losing. He hadn't replied yet so I once again spoke "You can refuse medical attention if you wish, if you don't want me to amputate. Honestly though, its your only option for survival" He nodded finally and replied "Do it, I have no choice. Help me please" I told him to wait here and I will be right back. I rushed over to the back of the ambulance and opened the doors, I was looking for the saw and the hose (to cut off blood flow). I found both quickly and also grabbed some morphine to help with the pain. As I rushed back over to Willy, I talked him through the procedure I was about to do and once again asked for his approval. "Yes" he replied. I injected him with morphine and allowed a minute or two for it to kick in, "This should help with the pain" I said to Willy with a calm voice. I knew the morphine wouldn't kick in for a few minutes, but I had to amputate now! I grabbed the hose and wrapped it around the upper leg, I then grabbed the saw. I began sawing and Willy screamed in agony, "I'm sorry" I said. He slowly went from screaming, to a lite wine, to silence. "The morphine kicked in, thank fuck" I thought to myself. I continued to saw through the ankle area and pulled him free. At this moment one of his colleagues ran over and I immediately said in a firm voice "Stand back please" He gave me a glare and rolled his eyes, before walking back. I helped Willy up and put him into the ambulance, I once again told him "You are going to be okay" I explained to Willy that we will be going to San Fierro Hospital, it may take awhile but you will be fine. I went to my radio and contacted dispatch "Patient inbound - San Fierro Hospital" Dispatch quickly relayed the message to the hospital and I was off. It took approximately 14 minutes to get there, Willy was quite far out into the woods, any further and he may have died. We arrived to the hospital and I helped him out of the ambulance handing him over to the relevant doctors and nurses. After I handed him over, I went back to my ambulance. I pulled out my pack of cigarettes and lit one, sure a paramedic shouldn't smoke but I was depressed I nearly lost a patient today. This was the most horrific injury I had seen in years, I guess people are becoming less safety conscious these days. As I finished my cigarette, I thought about Willy and wished him well. It would be nice to see the civilian side more active, the only problem is most people find it boring to do long term. Nonetheless not all feel this way, but a lot do and will only really spawn civilian (generally trucker) when they need cash. That is the sad reality. The solutions you provided could work, but they also only really focus on one role "Trucker". Maybe more monetary incentives? More companies? Or something of the like.

It would make sense for both criminals to get a notification for jailbreaks. Both crims and cops get notifications for sr's and Br's as you all know, so I would think jb's should be the same. Yes there is team-chat, but not everyone is going to reply to that all the time. If you got 10 cops on your ass in a jb, you're not gonna spend a few seconds replying "theres a jb going on". So its a yes from me.

Bring back the togglewalk :( The new one looks shit :( Apart for the little advantage of the togglewalk for criminals against cops and non-OG gangs. It should be brought back, as for the many advantages for the cops and none of the crims, it just makes the game more challenging imo. Which is a good thing or its a bad thing depending at it.

Would be good to mix up the game a bit ^-^

Diffinently could work, but would take alot of work and resources. Should be restricted on who can do it and when, like it could cause trouble. For example someone may kidnap players during Turfs to help their gang win or during BR's to help their gang. Theres also other reasons they could abuse it ofcourse. I'm all for it though if its implemented correctly :3
