Section B: Theory:

1 - A major earthquake has occurred in metropolitan Los Santos and there are many casualties. You're based in Blueberry and must respond to a barrage of emergency distress calls as a result of the earthquake. Describe your method of response to this situation and be sure to include how you would interact with your fellow medics and which equipment & vehicles you would use.

Answer: Once the report reaches me from the superior , I would get ready as fast as i can, by getting all the equipment i need, The most important equipment to get is the first aid kit, this kit carry's all what you need for example aspirin, bandages, eye drops and other stuff. After getting ready with my equipment i would get into the ambulance as soon as possible, Turn on lights and sirens reaching to that collapsed area in Los Santos, I'll request more ambulances to search in other area other than where i did, and keep searching for victims, In this case of an earthquake , There could be the following situations: Broken bone, Head injuries and internal bleeding. For a broken bone, The person may act in a way where he shouldn't act which damages him self more, So i must get him calm at first then i must secure that part of body , if i didn't within 5 minutes he must be taken to a surgery in which they'll be placing a plaster. In case of Head Crack or you can say skull cracks, We must secure it as fast as possible and get him to the hospital immediately with the sirens and the lights on and if you didn't get to the hospital as soon as possible it may lead to death because the internal bleeding will increase by the time.

2- Multiple officers have been shot while responding to an armed bank robbery. You have been called to assist in the rescue operation. Describe how you would respond.

Answer: Firstly, I rush to my ambulance which has been allready prepared with the necessary equipment, and drive immediatly there. In case the suspects are still there, I might request a bullet protection suit to protect my life. Multiple ambulances are sent if there are more then 1 injured officer, but let's talk about my case, the shot officer that I am dispatched to. So I turn on my siren, and head immediatly there. Arriving there, I asses the situation, and if it's safe, I head to the injured officer immediatly. I check his status, vital signs, and where is the gunshot wound. If it's not serious, like only a shot arm, leg or a non-vital part of the body, I move on to a more severly injured officer, specially if there are not enough medics for everyone. So, after checking where the wound is, depending on the location and the status of the patient, I press the wound with a bandage to try to stop the bleeding. If the bleeding is too serious, I take one of my blood bags that I took with me and use it like a perfusion. Of course, as the standard medical requirements for cops do, I check his papers which all cops carry at them, to see what blood type does he have. I also admininstrate a dose of morphine to calm the patient if he is awake and in pain, and, trough the same perfusion, some liquids to replace the lost fluids of the body. If the bullet has touched a vital organ, like a lung for example, I use one of my big injections and insert it into the back of the patient to remove the blood from his lung, so that he can breath normally, and also intubate him. After that, I bring the stretcher fast, move the officer to the stretcher and in the ambulance, where, if he remains stable, we move to the closest hospital as fast as possible.

3- Multiple people have been stabbed and burned by several terrorists at a train station and you 're the first medic to arrive on scene. The wounds are of varying severity. What would you do? I.e. How would you treat the wounds?

Answer: Firstly, I will take some medical materials which is fit on this case scenario? First I will take a first aid kit inside the ambulance then head to the stabbed patients. For starters I will check how severe their wounds are depending on how bad is the bleeding if it is severely bleeding I will take a full blood pouch just incase the patient may lose blood and eventually die if he isnt bleeding severely I will place anti bacterial products on the wound so the wound wont get infected then I will take some wound covering materials (Band Aid,Bandage) after I have taken the materials I will look up to the wound I will cleanse the blood that is surrounding the wound after it has been cleansed I will place both Band Aid and Bandage but I will place the Band Aid first on the wound then place the Bandage around the wound after the wound has been covered up I will slowly place the patient inside the ambulance then transport the patient to a nearby hospital to let him rest.
