Things I don't like (hate) about SAES

I have about 400 hours on this server and I have some things to discuss about this server.


By the way, I am not only going to say shit about the server itself but the typical G/S/C system also.


(Here we go!)




  • First of all, I really don't like how you can have only character because there are just so many gangs and squads and groups, etc. to be a part of. This would also decrease the amount of hoppers in SAES.




  • I don't like how SAES is an "RPG" but it lacks simple RPG elements like levelling, loot ( like clothing and jewelry ), and making your own character. I understand it will be hard to remake the entire server.




  • The classes/jobs have such a bad script. For example, drug dealers... What the fuck do you do as a drug dealer? /sell? that's it? where's the RP? But seriously this server lacks a good job system.




  • Now we get onto the G/S/C shite. I don't like how almost all of the official gangs and squads force you to post shit on the forums every once in a week. Bitch I am here to enjoy my time and not to be forced to do shitty RPs everyday.




  • I don't like how the groups and gangs, bla bla bla, have fucking long ass applications. For example, PC... The application is so big and complex that you can compare it to real job application. What is wrong with you? I am here to play and not do long applications for "immersion and realism".




I made a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes in here so forgive me for that.

I'm gonna knock a few things off your list..

First of all, In what world do people have more than 1 gang or squad. A blood cannot part-time as a Crip and an FBI agent cant double with the CIA. It's only supposed to be 1 g/s/c. And we have many different groups that you can join (in which you have personally raby).

There are some elements of levels and stats involved with trucking and sr stats and robberies. And since everything has its own skin and there's tons of different public spawns why do we need to change outfits.



The classes/jobs have such a bad script. For example, drug dealers... What the fuck do you do as a drug dealer? /sell? that's it? where's the RP? But seriously this server lacks a good job system.



Drug dealers and other jobs do more then /sell. Drug dealers make deliveries and get paid from making dropoffs all over SA. Same with arms dealers and robbers and other simple job scripts they all have a purpose.

Self-explanatory In order to become an official and stay official g/s/c you have to work for it.. Working would be doing RPs every day and they wouldn't be boring if you joined the g/s/c because you like there role and not just because you wanted a cool spawn. You don't have to do any RP just don't join anything, but you cant expect to join something that people been working hard for while you sit there and do nothing.

People do long applications to filter out the good and the bad if you cant spend 5 mins on an application why would you spend 5 mins doing any work for the gang.


If you have a problem with every single aspect on the server then you are playing on the wrong server bro..

Actually I saying that we should have more than one character and and about that RP thing, the gang/squad shouldn't force you to RP when you don't want to and have you kicked if you do not RP with them. RPs are fun if you actually want to do them or else they feel like a chore. I kind of agree with everything else you said.

Never the less. I also don't agree with forcing people to do shit, but I also don't agree on having people inside the gang that doesn't do shit.

I'll start here and then go on about what I think. This shocked me as soon as I've seen it.


Okay, you join a roleplay server which isn't even close to being serious and then start complaining how the people try to roleplay, by recreating proper recruitment just like it would be done in the real life, WHICH WE INTEND TO MIMIC.
(That's what roleplay is, in case you didn't know <3)


And now I'll start off like I didn't even mention the previous paragraph.


Well, first of. You're crying about this being an RPG server, as soon as you HAVE to roleplay on an RPG server it instantly starts bothering you. A roleplay server is meant to be there for roleplay, if you get online, you're supposed to be UP for it. If you're not, that's not your place.


When it comes to roleplay, everyone cries about how shitty it became and how bad everyone does. Have YOU ever stopped for a proper pull over, or tried to somehow interact with a player?


We are most likelly forced to change our roleplays for people like you. "I don't want forced roleplays, It takes too long, it's boring, it's not fun" and so on. How can I roleplay with someone in a long term rp if as soon as I begin to actually start doing something I instantly get a "pls skip i gtg" or shit like that.


You all prefer complaining before acting, if you want to improve the roleplays quality, start by yourself, instead of "avoiding" roleplay, look for it, try to extend it and not to shorten it.


Then, you might get somewhere.


Now when it comes to the leveling system.


There are many ways to actually level on this server, many scripts are well developed and well done, the ones that lack something are actually for mostly due to either it's scripting (Too complicated or even in some cases impossible) or it's abusing.


There were quite many scripts that had to be changed tue to abuses.


When it comes to your complain about the "/sell" scripting. Why can't you just roleplay it yourself? You have all the tools for it.


Use either a bind, or if you REALLY want to get into your character, use the "/me" and "/do" but as you stated at the beginning. HOW CAN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT THE LACK OF ROLEPLAY, IF YOU START WITH WHAT I QUOTED?


(In case if someone didn't notice at this point, I am really pissed off by this post, yeah.)

  1. There are a number of things to do in this server than RPing

  2. I never talked about long RPs I just said I DON'T LIKE WHEN RPs ARE FORCED ON YOU. I love to RP every once in a while ( 1 RP every two days ) I also like long RPs but not FORCED RPs.

  3. What tools do I have to RP as a drug dealer? Ability to enter interiors? Ability to spawn stuff? Only some spawns have that ability. It's just so uninteresting to RP with just commands but that's my opinion.

  4. I agree with the proper recruitment thing, the "realistic" trainings, interviews and all that but what I don't agree on is the looooooong applications. This is an RPG not a "recruitment simulator".

Man, how are you going to fill out job applications in real life? These applications take like 10min max to fill in and if you aren't up for it then find a g/s/c that has a short application format or better yet, find one without an application format. You wouldn't do that though because the memberbase of these organizations are shit and there you have it, you need to have a proper recruitment system so you won't take every retard in.

If you speak using terms like "the retard" and so on I can't expect much more less from you. This server has been running for a decade and you're not gonna change anything so they fit your tastes, plus you should find another server with the things you are asking for as I for sure know they're not going in.
