  1. @Saint21 said in Radio Chat: Its a good ideea, especially when you spawn as prison warden trainee when you're killed in jail as a squad member... Well, to begin with, you giving a proper use to the system will not mean that everyone else will. Secondly, keep in mind that as a squad member you can apply for PC using the external application. Now about the idea of either troopers, trainees, or even trainee wardens... Keep in mind, if you're in one of those three groups, (except the cases where you spawn as one for whatever reason and it's not your main role, either due to you being part of the criminal world, or just a squad member using that shortcut) it doesn't mean everyone has a proper understanding of it, and knowledge regarding its use. Being in one of those three groups when your intent is to be on the lawful side comes with quite an obvious reason. If you didn't get in a squad when you enjoy enforcing the law its due to either your lack of experience, or your lack of discipline and proper behavior. I'll explain. Whenever you spawn as PC you are damned to read all sorts of stuff in the team chat, ranging from constant insults between trainees, different languages as well as constant spamming. Now imagine we give them access to a command which allows them to contact pretty much all of the lawful side of SAES. DE, SAM, Official Squads, PC. Yes, true, they do have access to main chat and also can easily spam it, and often do earning themselves punishments such as kicks, and mutes. Right. Now lets take a look at the already chaotic radio chatter which is going on. Ranging from relatively new squad members who lack the experience with the radio, but at least attempt to keep a proper use of it, going to squads who do manage to give it a proper use, and still then get unprofessional and pretty much misuse the radio for quite some time, until someone requests them to stop, and eventually they do, freeing the frequency. Go on, add the trainees to the mix.
  2. I guess it's not too much of a secret that I'm almost fully inactive on the server at this point. Usually I would not even bother creating a topic like such, but I consider that it'll be quite unfair towards my squadmates. So. No hard feelings, not too much to tell, I'm back to my usual inactivity on the server. I don't really plan on coming back, but just as the last times when I went totally dark, I might still come back from time to time. Reasons? Lack of interest. So from now on consider me gone.
  3. Well, at this point for me this topic just turned into a shitshow... Aside of the good support from the asslickers I didn't really see much more. When it comes to the suggestions that actually have been made, I would support some of them, like for example the remapping of the jail. I still consider it won't be an optimal solution as then we would have a better chance to arrest, and the same noobs that cry now over the fact that they get easily arrested with the kill arresting, will still cry about how buffed the police team is, even mixing in reality just to give their argument some strength.
  4. Well, I don't really see this as a terrible issue that can't be resolved in any other way. Even when you do forget about your fuel gauge and just ignore going to the stations, and then all of a sudden realize that your vehicle is empty, you can always spawn it and simply call a mechanic, either a friend, or just a spawned mechanic (Specially now that ALT's a group) In my opinion it would be reasonable to leave the things the way they are, as potentially it might even encourage some roleplays which are a rare occurrence on this server at this point.
  5. Well. I've been reading through the whole topic and feel like I've just massively wasted my time. About the issues which both sides suffer: For the policing side kill arrest is as much of an inconvenience as for the criminals, unless everyone is killed criminals essentially have a constant respawn point. For the criminal side, kill arrest is annoying, but you'll see that most, just to respect a clear minorty complain about the Bank Robbery, not about the Jail Break, and you'll wonder why.. (Read the line above). In case if kill arrest gets removed. For the policing side, the days of camping for the sake of some easy profit will be over. ( I'm talking about camping at the hall and limiting yourself to just hold back the criminals, arresting them and farming during their escape attempts.) For the criminal side it will mean that the trainees will not be as annoying, but any squad member that would attack the jail, (Or specially one with PC access) will end their jailbreak in seconds as he will send them to the hospital. If before criminals used to camp for hours at the jail, now they even eventually manage to break out, as the delay between cops response is a bit greater then theirs, which essentially means, they have an easier access to their defensive position, and have to deal with less doors, unlike the policing side which respawns on the outside of the jail. If we now consider the difference, instead of responding to the jail most of the people that do now, won't even bother as it'll just take one persistent PC member to wipe the whole area out and secure the jail. SO.. Are you complaining about kill arrest in general, or just when it applies to the bank robbery, which obviously restricts the criminals to get there in time, and clearly gets some people triggered?
  6. What's wrong with the people requesting worst and worst stuff?
  7. A reasonable solution would be adding a system where you couldn't take such a vehicle while being wanted, or, not being able to spawn as a donator while being wanted.
  8. God.. I've been too long on this server... It looks like 2011 just passed a few days ago..
  9. Well, plat 2 here, not the best but I guess I could help if there's no one better Steam profile

  11. It is just an issue on potato pc's, as well as thanks to shitty internet connection. I did have that screen popping up serveral times on my office's computer when we were working with very intense net traffic. That's just the combination of both.
  12. @TanSriPillo said in Respawn Vehicle Unoccupied: The thing i would like to suggest when respawning vehicle unoccupied is only respawning random car park on the road but not the car that we bought. I love to see my car that i bought park in front my house but a bit sad that car keep gone when respawning happened. I know we can park our car permanently anywhere but that only for donator. For normal member like me, it feel useless to buy many car but cant park permanently in front of the house . That all Cheers mate <3 Mm.. Yes..? Now, on a serious note, 90% of the vehicles which are on the server are far by from public vehicles, so no, having god knows how many cars around without a respawn would be terrible.
  13. Am I the only one who's getting cringy just from reading this?
