Groove Posted September 2, 2023 Share Posted September 2, 2023 RP n°11 (monthly count: 4): North LV heist (PT2) - ground-level scopping Date: 02/09/2023 Participants from the gang: Groove - nubbob (( ground team pov )) Spoiler On the previous post, the crew had decided that they'd scope out the location before coming up with a plan. They split in 2 distinct teams: one with the goal of air reconnaissance, the other one with the goal of ground reconnaissance. The following spot will be about the team assigned to land reconnaisance. Spoiler Once closing in on the location, it was decided that it would be safer to just leave the car around a local fast food while checking the area out on foot; Spoiler The fastfood joint could potentially be used as a con to get inside the area? Or could it.. Spoiler A random stranger in hobo clothes was on the target location roof potentially guarding the location. A picture was snatched while he was looking in another direction, picture that shows an entry point on the west-side of the location aswell. Spoiler The stranger definetly noticed the presence of unfamiliar faces as he asked them for what their business was around here. Spoiler The burger shop quickly turned out to be a front for the local gang judging by what was said there. In order to get away of this unexpected encounter, the crew used the surrounding to their advantage and headed for the local liquor store to buy a beer, definetly making any estonians proud. Spoiler As the violent hobo stopped watching the crew, the crew could finally carry on with their reconnaissance mission. There were strange writtings on the wall: B~B. What could that mean? Spoiler The crew was briefly by an impromptu encounter (for real). While nubbob chatted with the local, groove carried on with the spotting Spoiler On the surrounding, there was a railtrack and a skyscrapper visible from far away. Spoiler Could those be potential entrypoints? Groove Posted September 3, 2023 Share Posted September 3, 2023 RP n°12(monthly count: 5): North LV heist (PT2 bis) - aerial scopping Date: 02/09/2023 Participants from the gang: Mellow - Darius (( air team pov )) Spoiler The following roleplay consists of the point of view from the team with the assignment of doing the air reconnaisance for the potential heist. The aerial reconnaisance left the trailer park meeting and headed for the airport. Apparently, mellow had a friend that could fly them around and had an helicopter available. Spoiler Once they reached airport, mellow confessed to Darius he 🧢 and he has no friends (beside omar). Spoiler Dus, they had to come up with a plan B. Therefor, they went around and looked for an helicopter they could break in. Mellow's past criminal experience, highlighted on previous RPs, definetly would come handy. Spoiler Mellow tried to break in a dark blue helicopter with little success.. Spoiler but had more lucks with a light blue helicopter and dus they were off Spoiler They were off to scout the place from the air and draw a map from the area. Here a couple of pictures from the fly over. Spoiler Here is a sketch drawn by Darius regarding the base location. Spoiler As the job was done, they were off to a getaway car and left the helicopter in middle of the road ((((which is definetly not a good idea, but remember this is a bunch of amateurs trying to earn a buck)))). Groove Posted September 3, 2023 Share Posted September 3, 2023 RP n°13(monthly count: 6): North LV heist (PT3) - planning meeting Date: 02/09/2023 Participants from the gang: Darius - Groove - Mellow - Nubbob Spoiler Previously, the crew had operated their scopping both on the ground and from the air. It was dus time to discuss a potential plan. Spoiler After a quick debrief of what was seen, different options were considered to reach the target. Would the crew go for an air approach? Would they parachute their way in? Would they take an hostage? Would they go gun and blazing? How would they leave the area? What if stuffs go south real quick? Those are many questions that had to be discussed to have a chance of success. Spoiler The crew came to the conclusion having a disguise would be the better option. Dus, they would need suitable disguises. Pest control was considered, which would be a suitable disguise to blend in the crowd, and potentially have a tactical advantage on the target (gas mask -> smoke grenade). The crew would potentially make it to the target area by forcing the hand of a local of the hobo crew. Several vehicles would be required for the job: both for the getaway and for the pest control bit. A plan B getaway would have to be put in place aswell. Untracable firearms, tazer, and body armors would have to be acquired alongside those for safety measure. The urgency to act drove me to make swift arrangements. I had to secure clearance from city authorities to gain access to this specific individual. My suspicion lingered that this stalker's actions were not without reason. What my colleagues had informed me of was disconcerting; he remained eerily silent since his capture, showing no signs of reaction, as though he had foreseen what awaited him. I haven't properly introduced myself yet, but I am the father who received a distressing call from his daughter, informing me of a relentless stalker tailing her. I am also an FBI agent, and my past holds darker secrets than one might assume. Hence, what may seem like a straightforward story to you feels far more intricate in my mind.. Upon arriving at the local police station where the suspect was being held, a sense of trepidation overcame me. It wasn't exactly fear but rather a unique apprehension, akin to a page in a book I fervently wished would remain unturned. This was a story I believed to have concluded years ago. I was informed that I could conduct the interrogation in his cell. However, I was determined to approach this task with the utmost professionalism and create an environment conducive to eliciting information from him. Avoiding any missteps was crucial since there were no witnesses aside from my daughter, and it was due to my call that the police caught him. I was resolute that this individual should not escape justice without disclosing the true nature of his intentions. His facial expressions are telling; it's as if he's poised, waiting for my approach. The intensity in his eyes is anything but ordinary; it could signify a readiness for a serious confrontation, or it might foreshadow an impending apology, with the possibility that he was either intoxicated or believed he was following someone else he knew. The crew got in touch with a famous gang runner organization in the north of San Fierro and set up a meeting. Prices and models were briefly discussed before. Money was shown upfront to show the good will of the crew, as new faces in the criminal underworld. Spoiler We passed by a couple of display models around the entrance of the warehouse, hardwares that could be boughta nd used for potential futur jobs. Spoiler An unplanned purchase was an old RPG-7, potentially from a previous russian conflict, just sitting there. Spoiler There were also a couple of mounted miniguns sitting around. Could those be mounted into aircrafts or vehicles, and be used for futur jobs? Spoiler Upon checking the ammo quality and agreeing on terms, the deal could move on. I had initially aimed to intimidate him, but he appears to be well-versed in the law, and now I'm the one feeling uneasy and confused. It was therefor time to consider paying back the mysterious men that granted them a loan of $50,000 a while back. Dus, after loading up the van with the money, the crew headed for the ranch where they met the strangers previously. Spoiler Feeling quite hungry, the crew stopped for a quick meal and met a random hobo harassing the local store sterk. Spoiler Before reaching the ranch, it was time to pick up Linkan at his flat in the center of Bone County next to the bowling area (roman confirmed?). Spoiler Upon arriving, the location seemed abandoned with no one on sight for miles away. Spoiler There were a bunch of toilets outside for some reasons, toilets that, for some reasons, Linkan decided to inspect... Spoiler I would prefer not to talk about what Linkan found there. As the location was visibly abandoned, the crew went to the local bar to try to get intels from the locals. Spoiler It turns out that, according the bartender, the loanshark crew that was operating in the area has relocated for some reasons unknown to everyone. Date: 12/09/2023 Spoiler We here at KJ may clown around most of the time, but we pride ourselves in our contract/mercenary work for clients who can afford it. We’ve made quite a reputation for ourselves throughout SA in assisting organizations with their turf wars. Today, I received a call from an unknown caller ID asking me for a meet-up for a “job.” He was very vague, which was expected. So I told the man to meet behind Zero’s RC shop in SF(our territory). Spoiler We met up at the spot. Looking at the man, he seemed very well connected, possibly with the mobs that run LV. We spoke briefly about this “job”. He sought my aid by taking out a troublesome attorney who was prosecuting some of his associates. I didn’t ask any questions; if I was getting paid, then you bet you’re bottom dollar I’d be taking on this contract. The employer then gave me a reference photo with the target's address. He did not care how I got it done as long as the target never lived to tell about it. I decided to take a stroll to the KJ warehouse and collect some special artillery, I intend to blow up the target's ass till kingdom come, the KJ way. After I collected the necessary supplies, I went off to the address. Spoiler I surveyed the target’s home for several hours and realized he was preoccupied inside. I casually walked up to his car so as not to raise suspicion and planted the explosive device right under as fast as possible. I got into position and patiently waited some more close by. Spoiler Suddenly, I see someone walk out. The description matched perfectly with the reference given to me by the employer. I carefully placed my thumb onto the activation button only to realize that I needed to be in a much closer proximity in order to activate the bomb. That’s what you get for entrusting in KJ weaponry. Spoiler I quickly advanced my position and sneaked beside him, trying to avoid his line of sight so I wouldn’t be discovered. Once I was in the appropriate proximity, the explosive activated and kissed his ass goodbye. I surveyed the damage and confirmed the job was done. I quickly ran out of the area, got into my vehicle, and drove away immediately. I called the employer back and simply said, “done”. He understood and sent me coordinates for the drop-off reward. Collected the payment, and another job well done. Spoiler Once the payment was collected at the dead drop, I went out for a celebration. Business was going well for our crew. And KJ’s amphetamines began taking the slums by storm. Every bum, addict, and competitor eventually recognized the potency of our amphetamine drugs thanks to our high-quality production. I was casually chilling at our hang around when I saw a large chubby hobo call me. Unsurprisingly, he was most likely only looking for his next fix. I walked up to him, and it was clear this guy had not showered in ages, but I also sensed his desperation. Spoiler Mumbling through his words, he tells me, “I'm looking for that good shit man” I tell him no worries, I sell only the best in the city. I vigilantly look around my surroundings to ensure no cops are in the area. We exchange in the deal, but I immediately notice something off… I sensed that some of the bills he gave me felt out of the ordinary. In quick succession, I realize that this stinkin’ bum had used poor counterfeit bills to pull a fast one on me. As soon as I realized this, I saw him take off. I certainly could not let this slide. Fortunately for me, the bum was already half-wasted and stumbling along his failed escape. It took no effort to catch up and lay a brutal beating on him. Spoiler A bloodied hobo on the street would surely attract unwanted police attention, mainly in KJ clown territory. So, I needed to discard him while also sending a message to those who dare try to deceive us. I dragged his unconscious corpse onto the trunk of my car. There were a couple of bystanders, mostly other addicts waiting to get their fix, but it's our territory, so it's our rules. We then drove off to a discreet location. Spoiler I took him towards the edge of SA. It would be practically impossible for anyone to hear us, especially with the sounds of the ocean overlapping what was about to happen. I opened the trunk, and the bum attempted to resist until a pistol whip managed to calm him down. I once again dragged him towards the edge of the ocean. I, fortunately, could not hear this moronic bum’s last words as the waves crashing through the shore muted anything he could’ve said to me. A shot straight to the dome did the job. The crew was potentially interested in buying some of the products and set a up meeting in the lumbermill of Red County. Spoiler The crew soon arrived to the designed location and was waiting for the contact, slightly late. Could be a safety measure to ensure the area is clear for him? No one knows to be fair. Spoiler A few minutes later, a random rasta man came out of nowhere with an hippy van. This definetly was the man the crew was looking for. Spoiler The lad seemed very trusty of the crew, saying some stuffs about chakra and karma; whatever the fuck this means. He was definetly willing to conclude a deal but the crew wanted to test the quality of his products before buying anything. Spoiler He happened to have a couple of samples with him, and Linkan ended up testing the product. Spoiler Linkan definetly liked it, and dus an agreement was made for an undisclosed price which won't be revealed in this post, because why would it be? Spoiler The contact drove to his stash in middle of Whetstone. His products happened to be in a random trashbin in the asshole of this locality. Spoiler The deal was dus concluded.
