We didn't find anyone who needed help until I got a call from Mr. Hessan. A customer who had been with me many times before and who I had known for a long time. After that we called Mr. Hessan back from the waiting area and explained to him what we did. We gave him back the keys and he left for the next meeting. He was in a hurry but that is normal for a businessman. I got a message on my cell phone from Mr. Hetler that Cuban Cars Garage was open for interns and I could come by. I was busy with a customer of mine, but I texted him back that I would come as soon as I was done. When I was done with my customers, I quickly made my way to the garage to arrive in time for the greeting. When I got there, the garage door was already open and I entered the garage. Kiraa-san, Senpai-san and Alperen-san, three other interns were already there and I arrived on time. Mr. Hetler asked us to line up. He told us that today would be even more difficult than last time and that we had to write everything down in detail and report back to him. Mr. Anas was also with us today, he is reading through the reports this time, so we should try even harder. But since Mr. Anas had some paperwork to do, he couldn't watch us during the lesson, which is why the reports have to be so detailed. Mr. Anas left us and went to his office, Mr. Hetler was still with us and split us into two groups as usual. Team A and Team B. He explained his problem, the horn of his car was honking all the time without pause and we all couldn't stand the sound anymore, so Mr. Kiraa asked him to turn off the engine first. When the engine was off, the horn stopped and Mr. Kiraa took Mr. Hessan to the waiting area and offered him a coffee or tea. Meanwhile, I took a closer look at the problem and thought about it. Hmm, that's strange, why does the car honk all the time? It must be a broken switch. Mr. Kiraa came back and I shared my knowledge with him. So we went to the warehouse together and looked for a button that would fit the car "Nebula". It was a car that was not produced very often, so we had to search for a long time. After some time I finally found a suitable button and we ran back to the car. I installed the new button and asked Mr. Kiraa to test the car. He got in the car, started the engine and the car horn sounded. It was still horn honking and I thought we didn't find the problem, but then it stopped and Mr. Kiraa had some fun with me. He honked the horn himself all the time and was able to play tricks on me. I was glad that we found the error, sat down myself again and tested it. All was well again and we could call Mr. Hessan from the waiting area. He wanted to test it himself, so I gave him the keys and he got in the car. He convinced himself and was very happy that finally he didn't honk all the time, because he is already old and the horn didn't do his ears any good. He drove the car out, I walked out of the garage and we chatted some more. He paid me $70, since there were two of us working and it wasn't really a stressful job, I just wanted the cost of the switch and another $15 for Mr. Kiraa and me. He paid me the money, we said goodbye, and I went back to the garage. I asked Mr. Hetler what I should do next. He sent me to Team B and told me to ask them if they needed help. I went to Team B, but they were almost done, so my help was not needed. I watched for a while as Team B handed over the car to Mr. Manko and then took a little smoke break. After my smoke break, Mr. Hetler called us together again. Mr. Kiraa was already gone, he had to pick up his kid from soccer practice, so only Mr. Senpai, Mr. AlperenS and I stayed. After I woke up well enough rested, I made myself breakfast and was out for a bit with my friends. When I found out that the Cuban Cars Garage on the highway from LV to SF is open by Mr. MarksMan, I decided to say goodbye to my friends and go there. After all, I need to learn something as fast as possible to finish my education as soon as possible. When I drove into the garage, there was no other person there except Mr. MarksMan. He had a vehicle that had no front bumper and the doors were badly damaged. He drove the car up onto the ramp and we took a closer look. Together we started with the bumper and installed it. After that, Mr. MarksMan let me do the rest on my own and just watched. I ran to the warehouse, picked up two new doors, one for the left and one for the right. I installed the right door first while Mr. MarksMan watched me and made sure I was doing everything right. It seemed like everything was fine and I finished my work after changing the other door as well. So now the car was fixed and we were done for the day. We drove the car off the ramp and closed the garage for this day. It was a pretty weak day when you look at the other days where there were more than five wannabes and also a lot more customers, but whatever, not every day can go well. The news reached me that the Cuban Cars Garage in San Fiero was open, for the wannabes to show how good they are. I grabbed my bike and headed out. Mr. Kiraa was already waiting in front of the garage until Mr. Hetler opened the gate for him. Mr. Hetler opened the gate and we went inside the garage together. First we greeted each other and Mr. Hetler explained today's task. Our task for today was to repair the cars and report back to Mr. Hetler in detail at the end. After we knew our tasks, we had to wait for the first customer. After a few minutes more wannabes arrived. Mr. AlperenS and Mr. Rezzy were now there too. Problem was that still no customer was there, so Mr. Hetler used this waiting time to explain us again the task, because two more people arrived. He divided us into two teams, a team A in which was Mr. Kiraa with me. And in team B were Mr. Rezzy and Mr. AlperenS. Now that we had the teams, everyone went to their position and we continued to wait for the first customer. After a long time the first customers came. It was Mr. Lahuma and Mr. jordskjelv. Team B helped Mr. Lahuma and my team took care of Mr. jordskjelv. He wanted armored bodywork and bulletproof windows on his car. I told him that this was not a problem, but I remembered from another time that the armor would make the car weigh more and drive slower. I told Mr. jordskjelv this and he wanted another V8 engine. Mr. jordskjelv handed me the keys and I took him to the waiting area. I offered him a coffee or a tea, but he preferred to play on the computer. Since I didn't know if this was allowed, I told him to ask Mr. Hetler if he could. So, now we started our work. Mr. Kiraa took the right side of the car and I took the left side. I started with the door, for this I first had to get the armored door from the warehouse. I went into the warehouse and looked for it for a while and then found it. A normal door is still relatively light, but this armored door was very heavy. With a lot of effort I brought the door to the car and exchanged it. Now that the door was armored, I still had to change the window. I ran to the warehouse, got bulletproof window. Meanwhile, Mr. Hetler had already moved the car forward a bit, because there was better light. I exchanged the normal window with the armored one. My side was now ready, Mr. Kiraa still needed a little time, so I started already alone with the engine. I ran to the engine, first checked from below if everything was in order. Everything was still good, no parts were rusted, so it should be no problem to upgrade the engine to a V8. I looked at the engine and wanted to start it. I didn't have the right tool, so I went and got it. Once I had the right tool, I started removing a few parts from the old engine and replacing them with new parts, such as a new ECU. So, now the engine was also upgraded to a V8 and the car was ready. Kiraa-san and I took a look at the car to make sure everything fit. Everything was nice and clean. I called Mr. jordskjelv to show him the car. He came and looked at the car, he liked it, but he really wanted to test the new V8 engine. I told him it was no problem, I gave him the keys and we both went into the car. Just as we were about to leave for the test drive, Mr. Hetler called me because he wanted to talk to me. So I let Mr. jordskjelv test drive alone and trusted him to come back because we still had to do the paperwork. Mr. Kiraa and I went to Mr. Hetler and he asked me if I knew that it was not allowed to install armored body and bulletproof windows. It was only allowed on military vehicles. Unfortunately, I had never heard of this rule, so I apologized to Mr. Hetler for the mistake. He told me that it was no problem, but that I should write down the customer ID next time. The customer was now gone, neither of us got paid and we didn't finish the paperwork either. Mr. Hetler was proud of me and Mr. Kiraa, he let us go home and went to the other wannabes. Mr. AlperenS and Mr. Reezy were not done with Mr. Lahuma's quad yet. I was done for the day, it was a good day, however I made a mistake that still bothers me until now. I picked up my tow truck and looked around the streets. There was nothing to tow and I was bored. I went to a gas station, refueled my car and bought a new pack of cigarettes. I took out a cigarette and smoked it. I enjoyed this cigarette and then I received a call from my very close friend Mr. Hessan. He is a racer who often participates in illegal races and also a very good driver. Today he unfortunately had a little accident. He drifted into a corner, lost control and flew out of the lane into a tree. It was a very nice car, the Hotring Racer, which is known for its high speeds. The engine was badly damaged, one of his tires blew and he lost the race as well. He was in a pretty bad mood and sad, which is why he called me and asked for help. Because he can't call the police, or an official repair shop, otherwise they would report everything to the police, because he was involved in an illegal race when this accident happened, so this thing had to stay between us. Since he is a very good friend of mine and I understood his problem, I decided to help him. I asked him where he was and made my way to him. He was not far away and I got to him pretty quickly. When I arrived, he told me again quickly what exactly happened and I took a look at the damage. The flat tire shouldn't be a problem, but the engine didn't look good. I took a closer look at the engine and Mr. Hessan had to leave briefly to take a piss. When he was back, I told him that I need a workshop where I can repair the engine again, because I can not use my workshop, which is provided to me by Cuban Cars, because this should remain gehiem. Mr. Hessan offered me to use the rTech workshop, which I gratefully accepted. So now I have to tow the car. But I can only hook the car from the front, but the tree was in my way. Two cylinders are broken, the oil filter and the cooling system were damaged. With the current tools I could not repair the car, so I asked Mr. Hessan for more suitable tools. He pointed to a van that had lots of tools in it. I picked out the appropriate tool and went back to the engine and started the repair. Mr. Hessan got a call and was busy while I finished the engine. So now the engine was fixed, but the tire still needed to be repaired. That was rather the minor problem. I went to the warehouse and got a new tire. It was a bit difficult to find something, because I first had to find my way around. When I was also finished with the tire, we did a little test lap together. Mr. Hessan drove the car and everything worked out perfectly. He was able to do some nice drifts again, without any danger. We went back to the rTech base, Mr. Hessan parked the car outside and we went inside for a short while. Since I have known Mr. Hessan for a long time and he is one of my best friends, I didn't want any money from him, but he insisted on paying me. So I accepted a small part of the money and we said goodbye. It was nice to be able to help him in such a difficult situation. It made both me and Mr. Hessan proud. In my cigarette box was only one cigarette left and this I wanted to save for a break during work. So there was only a coffee for me in the morning. Well, life as a mechanic is not always easy, you have to work hard to get money, but that should not be a problem for me, after all, the work as a mechanic makes me a lot of fun. I headed out in the morning and looked around a bit to see where I might be able to help. Everything was fine, no accidents and no one who had another problem with their vehicle, at least no one who contacted me. Then when I heard that Cuban Cars Garage had a new location opening, I realized why no one was contacting me. A new garage of Cuban Cars was opened, located on the highway between Las Venturas and San Fiero. A beautiful new garage that is modernly equipped and also has a beautiful view of the ocean. So I made my way to the new garage, because wannabes were called to show their skills there. Since I have been trying to be a mechanic for more than a month, this was my chance to prove myself. Once there, I noticed how many Cuban Cars members were there helping the many customers. There were also a lot of wannabes there trying their luck just like me. A lot of competition, but I have to prove myself. There were many workshops there, each Wannabe could choose one and do his work there. I chose the workshop at the very edge, with a beautiful view of the sea and waited until I got an order. After a few minutes, Mr. MarksMan came to me and told me that he had a special order for me. I was already quite excited and accepted this order. He told me to wait a moment because he had to get the car. After a short moment, Mr. MarksMan arrived with a Comet. However, this Comet was not a normal one, because this Comet had a spoiler from the factory. There are many Comets that have a spoiler, however, they are often upgraded and are not like this from the factory, so this Comet was a very special one that not everyone has.However, the problem was that due to a minor accident, the bumper had been damaged and the door had taken a few dings and paint damage. Mr. MarksMan asked me to fix this damage and also to take a look at the nitro at the end, because the owner is not quite sure if it still works. I happily accepted this job and was ready to give my best. Mr. MarksMan was busy with other wannabes, so he couldn't watch, but I told him that I would call him as soon as I was done or if I had any problems. I started with my work and took a closer look at the damage. I started with the bumper and decided not to put in a new bumper, but to paint the old one and press out the dents. After half an hour I was done with the bumper and looked at the door. I found that unfortunately it could not be repaired but had to be replaced, so I headed to the warehouse, which was huge, and looked for a new door. After finding one that also fit the Comet I went back to the car and installed it. I removed a few screws from the old door and installed the new door. The door was now finished, it looked much better than before and you would think it was like from the store. I looked at the results again myself and complimented myself. I was done with the body now, but Mr. MarksMan had asked me to take a look at the nitro, so I did that too. I sat down in the car first and activated the nitro. Hmm, strangely there was no loud sound like there usually is when you activate the nitro. I realized something was wrong, so I took another look. I drove the car a little higher on the lever platform and laid down under the car to check the nitro. After minutes of looking around, I finally found the problem. I was able to figure out that the inflow from the nitro was blocked and I needed to clean that out. My tools were not a good fit, so I went to the tool cabinet and picked out the right tool and cleaned the inlet. After that was done, I called Mr. Brondy as I needed his help. I needed him to sit in the car and activate the nitro so I could take a look from the outside. He came with me and sat in the car, activated the nitro and I could see the nitro flowing out. Good thing that problem was solved now, too. Mr. Brondy was proud of me. I drove the car to one of the parking lots and called Mr. MarksMan to show him the results. Mr. MarksMan was also happy with the result and already had a new job for me. I handed him the keys and he went back to my workshop. There I waited for Mr. MarksMan to give me my new order. After a few minutes Mr. MarksMan came back with a somewhat strange car. It was tuned, a caravan with the chassis of a monster truck. It wasn't a special job just to do a little check and confirm at the end if the car was safe on the road. I drove the car onto the lever platform and started checking. First I took a look under the car, everything seemed fine. Next I looked at the tires, pretty big for such a car, but not dangerous yet. A quick look at the brakes, they were a bit worn, but not yet necessary to change them. At last I checked if the lights of the car were working, because at night the lights are very important. Good, the car passed the check without any problems and was allowed to drive on the road. Again I brought the car to the parking lot and called Mr. MarksMan. I told him that everything was fine and the car did not cause any problems during the check. He thanked me and had no more orders for me. I still had some strength left and wanted to help. I went to Mr. Cheess and asked him if I could help him with something. He said to me that I could help him and Mr. Jordi. I accompanied them to the car and they had to change the timing belt. Mr. Cheess and Mr. Jordi were working on it together, but they didn't have the proper tools. Me and Mr. Alfred go get the right tool and continue together. Mr. Cheess watched the two of us. Mr. Alfred didn't know exactly how to change the timing belt, but I had done it before with Mr. Zac and had experience. I told Mr. Jordi to just do the same thing I did and explained it to him. When I was done with my part, me and Mr. Cheess waited a short time for Mr. Jordi to finish. When he finished too, I got in the car and we tested the car. It sounded all right, but we had to drive it a little more to be sure. Mr. Cheess and I went for a ride and Mr. Jordi took a little break. The car was working again like before. After all the work I took a little break, smoked the last cigarette I had left this morning and drank another glass of water. After my little break I asked Mr. Coldplay if I could still do something. I drove the car in and we looked at it together. The engine was broken and already smoking, the door had a few dents and also the tires were not quite good anymore. It was already late, we were all fasting and soon would be iftar, so we started as fast as we could. Mr. Alfred and I looked at the engine together and we found the problem. Mr. Alfred fixed the oil pipe and I started on the door. Mr. Hetler meanwhile looked at the car from the bottom, and checked if everything seemed to be ok. When we were all done, we took care of the tires together. We went to the warehouse and got four new tires, which we mounted together. Mr. Alfred, Mr. Hetler and all three of us changed the tires together, so we finished very quickly. When we finished, I thanked Mr. Hetler and Mr. Alfred for their help and headed straight to the customer. I called him while I was driving and set up a meeting. When I arrived at the meeting place, my old friend was already waiting for me with my car. He was amazed to see his Cheetah shining again with no damage. The engine was repaired, the door also and the tires were exchanged. The new tires gave the car a completely different feel, making it easier to drive.
