Backstory The Medelln Cartel was a highly organized Colombian drug cartel originating in the city of Medelln, Colombia that was founded by Pablo Escobar. The drug cartel operated throughout the 1970s and 1980s in Bolivia, Colombia, Panama, Central America, Peru, and the United States, as well as in Canada and Europe. there ruthlessnes and with the planning of the master mind pablo escobar the cartel where getting stronger and stronger,there activities ranged from drug and arms trafficking to bribery , kidnaping and extortion they even assasinated and bombed anyone in there path At the height of its operations, the Medelln Cartel smuggled tons of cocaine each week into countries all over the world and brought in up to US$60 million daily in drug profits.For a time, the Medelln Cartel supplied at least 85% of the United States' cocaine market. with that came the threat of the US.goverment wish made a task force to hunt down drug cartels and after 1993 all the medelln members where arrested or assasinated and after years of disaperence of the cartel some old lieutenants of pablo escobar grouped themselfs to go to San Andreas City , a city where crime really pays and with there expertise with the "product" they will rise in this city , and to hide there old history they named the new cartel "NarCos".
