    [FEATURE] | Reworking the SAES Dogfighting (Hydra) System

    Hello all,


    I'm going to keep this short, sweet and straight to the point.


    There is a lot of issues with the heat-seeking system on SAES when you are dogfighting. To sum down the issue, watch the following video:

    As you can see on the above video, there's a clear lock on the opposing hydra, however, the missiles aren't heat-seeking whatsoever. This has been an issue for many years, and it was sadly never given attention; people just ignored it.


    There's a lot of servers that has reworked the system (don't ask me how), which improves the system by a large margin, to limit the number of bugs (such as the one above) to occur when you're dogfighting.


    It is extremely frustrating, as there is nothing you can do except for praying your no-scopes hit the target.

    Dear Citizens of the United States of America,


    Today I am proud to officially announce that the government will work together with the Cuban Embassy. This is to ensure the safety of the Cubans within our Country, as they have previously been targeted as malicious, freeloaders and much worse. It is time to end the brutal behavior between the Cubans and the Americans.


    Please welcome Mr. Gill as a Special Advisor to myself and the President, Bob Russell. We are very proud to finally be able to publicly announce this.


    We will be working very hard to ensure every Citizen of the United States of America is being treated with honor and respect. We all deserve this.

    Removing /sell wanted levels for Ape.

    Obviously it makes sense that this isn't going to happen, however, it's a fun gimmick, if not a hall of fame worthy topic.


    Ape, may nothing separate me from You today. Teach me how to choose only Your way today so each step will lead me closer to You. Help me walk by the Word and not my feelings. Help me to keep my heart pure and undivided. Protect me from my own careless thoughts, words, and actions. And keep me from being distracted by MY wants, MY desires, MY thoughts on how things should be. Help me to embrace what comes my way as an opportunity... rather than a personal inconvenience. And finally, help me to rest in the truth of Psalm 86:13, 'Great is your love toward me.' You already see the ways I will fall short and mess up. But right now, I consciously tuck Your whisper of absolute love for me into the deepest part of my heart. I recognize Your love for me is not based on my performance. You love me warts and all. That's amazing. But what's most amazing is that the Savior of the world would desire a few minutes with me this morning. Ape, help me to forever remember what a gift it is to sit with You like this.     To counter the mass amount of frequently asked questions within the #help-and-support section of the SAES:RPG Discord server, I figured a topic like this would be rather helpful.


    No big introduction, just an easy-to-read topic.

    Common Game Crashing Solutions



    • Unable to delete old file xxx
      The error log should contain various directories hinting towards what files it was unable to delete. Simply head to your Multi Theft Auto folder and follow the path: mods > deathmatch > resources simply remove the affected files/folders here.
       

    • loader.dll issue
      loader.dll has been flagged as a false positive by Avast.
       
      Open 'virus chest' by right clicking on the Avast icon in the Windows tray
      Locate loader.dll in the list and press the three dots menu
      Click on Restore and add to exception

      HTTP server file mismatch (xx)
      If you're experiencing an issue joining the server because of a file error or clash please delete your resources folder, or the folder of the specific resource and rejoin the server to redownload all resources or the resource you deleted. Attempt this first before creating a ticket or bringing up an issue, as it will always be our first piece of advice.
      Your resources are in MTA\mods\deathmatch\resources



    Display / HUD isn't showing properly



    • If you are experiencing difficulties with graphical issues, such as the HUD not displaying correctly (health bar, login screen etc.) head to your Multi Theft Auto folder and follow the path: mods > deathmatch > resource remove all files within this folder. It will force download all the various resources when you connect to the server again, which should resolve your issue.



    Invisible walls - What do I do?



    • To avoid running into invisible walls during your trucking endavadours, you should downgrade your GTA:SA version to 1.0. Follow the steps on this article: https://forum.mtasa.com/topic/11757-patching-your-101-or-200-version-of-gta_saexe/



    I found a BUG - what do I do?



    • Head to: https://github.com/saesrpg and report your bug, select the repository depending on what the bug is affected under, f.e: in-game server, website etc.



    I forgot my password



    • Load up the SAES:RPG server and follow the steps below:



    • Go to the login panel

    • Click 'forgot password'

    • Enter the email associated to your account

    • Click the link in your email

    • Enter new password


    I forgot my username




    • In the luck that you have applied to an organization (squad/gang/group) in the past (which typically requires you to type your username), look through your old posts either on the new forums or the archive founds (found here: https://archive.saesrpg.uk/community/)




    • If you haven't applied / can't find your old application, make sure you have ownership of the e-mail attached to your original account. After confirming this, head to the SAES:RPG Discord (found here: https://discord.gg/MR64u4T) head to the #help-and-support channel and create a ticket (done by typing the following: -new "your query"
