  1. @VayraN said in Improving the relationship between Gang and Squad members (AS PLAYERS!): Well there's only 1 idea, And the idea is making the players stop bullying eachother and stop insulting That's not a good idea, my friend.. It's not something practical that you make players do, that's not how it works.. I need people who have actual ideas that can be applied practically.
  2. @VayraN said in Improving the relationship between Gang and Squad members (AS PLAYERS!): I agree with you bro, We all should enjoy the game without bullying and insulting eachother, Some people gets annoyed and quits the game because they are getting bullied, Why is that, Because they arresting you ? Because they killing you ? Seriously ??? Yesss...? I think, not sure. No one helped me with a proper idea yet, dunno if I should keep waiting or not.
  3. Excuse me, what's the point of this topic? I understood absolutely nothing...
  4. I'm going through the replies again to make sure I understood them, what it seems to me is that people think this is a "Be nice to eachother" topic, it's not. I personally don't care about the way you play or how you want to insult people, as long as you're able to understand what is fair and what is not, as long as players start to think about the server as a whole instead of just their own field of view. I put suggestions as an example multiple times, what I meant is script suggestions, people are always fighting there because they don't understand the other side's view, now I know there are many other factors such as some players being young and immature yet, which makes them think only about their own needs. This is a call out to the whole community, people need to understand other people's gameplay, as players, so we can make balanced and fun ideas to be able to play more, and have fun! I don't really know how I can explain it more simply than that. So: If the majority of players understand gameplay issues from both perspectives -> players can form well thought out opinions and suggestions -> people won't have to fight as much about balance, means only good suggestions pass through -> the server becomes more fun in terms of gameplay!
  5. @Markus said in Improving the relationship between Gang and Squad members (AS PLAYERS!): why are you so tryhard about the communications about others tho, it's up to every single player how he wants to act and talk shit like this shouldn't be forced It's not about forcing people to act and talk a certain way, no one is forcing anyone to do anything. I simply stated that it's importnat for a community based server to have the majority of the playerbase to be at the very least compatible with eachother, so people don't have to fight over suggestions just because they don't understand what the other side has and what they don't. Reminder, my original post is merely an idea for a solution to a problem, this is meant for people to give their own ideas too, it would be really appreciated if anyone read the whole discussion before trying to judge. I need people's help, if you can't give a simple idea then just give your opinion, don't stray off-topic, please.
  6. So, I've read all the replies and some people seem to have given ideas(which is the purpose of this topic) and made quite the good points, some other people missed the whole point by a thousand miles and decided this is a good place to insult other players. Thank you to everyone who saw the point and gave proper opinions! As for the people who didn't understand, I'll try to explain it again even though I might need someone to translate at this point. So, like I said a few times now, this is not about making your gang less respectable, it's not about making you work with cops, people don't realize that the other players you're playing this game with are actual people who want to have fun, so the way they play is by being an asshole to the other side. That's not how a game works, a game is meant to be fun, SAES isn't a playground for your social and political agendas, it's a place for a community of players who enjoy this certain game. If you fail to see this then I'm sorry but your vision might be a little on the short side. Whenever someone says the server needs to be balanced, a whole bunch of other people pop up with varying opinions, now the issue here is that people are basing their opinions on their own experience, completely forgetting that there are other players with a very different experience. This topic was meant to be a well of ideas to make it so these two different sides understand the current experience of the other side, regardless of what your role is. The biggest proof that we need this type of understanding is how most of the votes in suggestions are split 60% to 40%, or whatnot, which basically means people only focus on how this suggestion is affecting their own experience, completely forgetting others. I need people's help, if you can't give a simple idea then just give your opinion, don't stray off-topic, please.
  7. @Zoom-In said in Improving the relationship between Gang and Squad members (AS PLAYERS!): "Dreamworld" where all are friends and understand eachother.. not gonna happen. Read it all before commenting, this is not a dream world and it's not something impossible, happenned before and can happen again. People always complain about wanting balance, well this is an attempt at a step towards balance, players are more important than the scripts, and you need players to be able to make logical well thought out ideas and suggestions for actual server scripts. This is a reminder that I'm asking people for their ideas and help, if you want balanced scripts in the server, we need the majority of players to be mature and able to discuss suggestions regardless of sides, having fun in a game we all enjoy is the number one priority here, please give it a chance before jumping to conclusions without a second thought.
  8. @Cappo said in Improving the relationship between Gang and Squad members (AS PLAYERS!): So, in short, you want to make the g/s stop acting their role and do some pointless stuff. -1, I just don't see it right. Talk with the rest of the squad members, the trainees and do stuff together, for the record, I've almost never seen squads working together, so I'd say to do that, instead of doing alliances between gangs and squads which seems just pointless. I already said that this isn't about the gangs and squads doing different roles, it's not about the gameplay it's about the community aspect of it, it doesn't seem like you bothered or cared enough to read anything of it. It's pointless from a short-distanced point of view, when there's a lot of good stuff that can come out of it. Many people don't understand the modern day situation of either playing as criminal or playing as a cop. What's really "pointless" is how often cop players and criminal players fight over who's more OP and who isn't, this idea is meant to stop any pointless banter about balance in a fun and engaging way. I'll say it again incase you don't bother to read, this isn't about the roles, it's about making community players understand what the other side goes through, and also improving relations between players in general, in a fun way. As for the squads not working together thing, all of the players are on the same side and understand what others go through while playing. They do often work together since they still play on the same side. For the third time I'll repeat it, this is not about changing what criminals and cops do, it's about trying to make players understand eachother, as equal players, which is extremely necessary in a server that's based on player feedback.
  9. Now now before you start reading, some people will say "Ugh, cringe" or call me cheesy, but this is for the sake of making players more tolerating towards eachother, I don't know what type of people would be against that. This idea has been stuck on my mind and I need people's help with it, even though someone tried to discourage me from it(youknowwhoyouare). To put it simply, I was thinking of a way to make squad and gang members more understanding towards eachother as players. vv My current idea is to link every squad to a gang, gangs outnumber squads greatly so this'll be a bit of a problem and might not be a one for one kind of thing. Now you might start asking: "And what happens with the linked gang and squad?" Well here's my problem that I need help with, my idea was to make it so the two linked groups form some sort of... semi-alliance? Anywho, if the squad and gang leaders agree, they should allow their members to start doing activites together, say for example, the squad members team up with the gang members and start playing as criminals together, or the gang members team up with the squad members and patrol together. Basically, they start doing activites and events together, to develop an understanding of eachother's side. The problem I was having is... How can this be done? Is there any better way to achieve the same result? That's why I need everyone's opinions to help me with this! - Please try to focus on the main idea here, improving the relationship between PLAYERS. aka: Don't come with the "But cops don't help criminals in real life, bla bla bla bla" talk. Don't be a negative Nancy!
  10. Killing someone because they are helping the other side(medics, drugdealers, etc) is a solid reason to kill someone, therefore it should not count as deathmatching when you kill a drug dealer that's helping cops. My only problem is with people who use realism as an excuse, drugs in real life wouldn't make you defy gravity or make your car faster. Both sides having drugs is pretty fair, people don't realize that speed is a MAJOR advantage to whoever has it, people shouldn't be mad when cops are able to buy drugs, as long as they can kill people who are strictly helping cops. (I kinda wanna see how creative cops will be trying to protect their nasty corrupt drug dealers ;P) TLDR? Basically, criminals should be allowed to kill any person strictly helping cops(Not just helping anyone). The deathmatching rule makes no sense nowadays as people kill eachother for very valid reasons yet still get punished for it, which is what Ikzelf said.

  14. With all due respect to everyone involved(and not involved), this whole topic is childish and what the two did is just as childish.
  15. It's obviously Jay trying to frame Mona!
  16. I like how the guy who made this topic has the guts to casually say "Oh yeah I will steal your car" like it's a normal thing to do for him, and then reports the guy who killed him because he stole his car... I personally think the SAES team should take a moment to discuss this in private and come up with a unified logic and rule to solve such situations instead of it being personal preference, would make it easier for everybody.
  17. The only thing I personally don't agree with is serving the full jail sentence part, it would be better if it was like 75% of the sentence, and the 25% will be served in the normal prison to allow them to escape if they wish or just serve their sentence and be free, reducing the amount of DM but not removing the fun completely. OR There's the idea of adding a different section in the current prison, could be a second floor or however mappers see fit. This section could be for people who were arrested during the Jailbreak, almost like a maximum security place. To even be able to jailbreak in there would require criminals to risk giving the medium security section to cops, and then leaving to a different section in the prison, just to be cornered again, and they would have to fight or just ACTUALLY ESCAPE to not risk getting longer jailtime. There could be an door between the corridor that the cops and criminals will trade fire in, so if criminals want to escape they have to go to that room, have a person(almost like a cracker) break the window bars, so they can enter the marker and be dropped in the outside of the prison, could be the place that's like a lower roof, or just actually drop to the ground where they can either run away, or stay around in the street and get arrested. I know that I butchered the explanation but it's just an idea that I'm throwing into the air, so people can start thinking about more creative solutions.
  18. SECTION 1 Name: - In-game name: Albie Age: 19 Sex: Yes English proficiency: I would say it's above average, if you want me to rate it out of ten then it would be an eight or a nine. Native language: English. Other language(s): No others. Do you have a Pro Cop diploma?: Not yet. When did you start playing SAES/MTA?: MTA, about 6 years I guess? Possibly in 2014 since I can't remember when exactly. As for SAES, I started playing around 2016, didn't do much, but I only REALLY started a month ago. Total gameplay (hours): 250 Hours. (As of writing this) Aprox.gameplay daily (hours): From one hour to five/six hours depending on my availability. Average FPS: ~30 Average ping: ~120 is the normal average, but sometimes the average becomes ~200 due to bad internet. Previous organizations and reasons for leaving: San Andreas Police Academy: This was back when it was a squad, I'm part of SAPA now but I left it because I wasn't truly active back then, and when I did become a little bit active, an interesting organization(Which I'll talk about after this) caught my attention so I had to leave. Warlocks Motorcycle Club: The gang slowly started becoming more and more inactive, there wasn't many activities back then and soon after I left it, it seemed to have officially died. Federal Bureau of Investigations: There wasn't much encouragement from the HQ, it was quite discouraging and disappointing, I joined it due to the concept, and in hopes of finding a place to fit me, but in the end the only reason that kept me in it was my partner, until he experienced the same thing as me. Are you active user of Discord?: Indeed I am. (I am already in the FOX Discord, but if you want my Discord tag feel free to PM me) SECTION 2 A. Define our role (FOX) FOX OPERATIONS X, also known simply as FOX is an intelligence organization tasked with multiple duties to protect the state of San Andreas; that include but are not limited to: Investigation of criminal organizations and apprehending their members, protecting the state citizens from terrorist attacks and any kind of threat, supporting other law enforcement organizations, ensuring national security and cyber security with their available technologies. In short: Protecting and defending the freedom in San Andreas. B. Define marker arrest: Marker can come in two ways, either kill arresting or just simply using your nightstick to arrest players who are entering/exiting a Bank Robbery. C. Minimum arresting level: Ten stars. D. Point out and define 4 major server rules: 1- ~[No Deathmatching(The obvious major one):]~(black) Deathmatching is the act of harassing or attacking other players without a valid reason. 2- ~[No Cheating/Exploiting:]~(black) The act of abusing bugs or doing something that'll give you an advantage over other players. 3- ~[No Excessive Trolling:]~(black) Trolling is harassing, griefing and annoying other players or basically ruining their gameplay in an unfair way. 4- ~[Arrest Evasion:]~(black) Arrest evading is defined as using an unfair method to avoid being arrested by a police officer, such as killing yourself or using any other method, which should all be obvious, if it's not fair it's not allowed. E. Explain why you should attempt to roleplay before each arrest: I'll explain this in two ways, ~[Personally,]~(black) I like to give the criminal I'm about to arrest a chance to experience roleplay and have some fun alongside me, and to show that I don't have any malicious intentions against or hate against them. ~[Second reason,]~(black) which is to look professional as a squad, by showing that we(the members) can interact with the community without instantly resolving to shooting a criminal shows maturity and our intention to have fun with others first instead of just blindly playing. SECTION 3 I. Write about yourself in 4 sentences: First of all I actually don't like talking about myself when it comes to real life, I just never felt comfortable doing it so I'll keep this about me as a person. I like doing things for fun, which is kind of the point of me playing to begin with. I uhhm... I like acting in general which includes roleplaying in games and in real life if I had the opportunity. An important thing you might wanna know about me, I joke a lot, I like joking around but I know my limits and the line to not cross when it comes to joking. II: Write your strengths and weaknesses: ~[Strengths:]~(black) In terms of ingame stuff, I'm good when it comes to fighting and also transporting members(aka driving), my general knowledge about the game is pretty good I would say, except when it comes to REALLY specific stuff. Most importantly, I am ALWAYS willing to improve myself in any shape or form. ~[Weaknesses:]~(black) Hastiness is one of them, I sometimes just get a tiiiny bit greedy, I can also be a bit slow at times when it comes to realizing things, kind of a bad reaction speed thing. Not much else I can think of, really... III. Why do you wish to join FOX over other squads?: The thing about FOX is the quality and how much it cares about every member, I want to be in FOX because I know I'm going to be able to trust any of my squadmates to help me when I'm in need, without needing to worry about them being bad or immature, that's what attracts people to FOX. IV. Convince us in 2 lines why you would fit the team: As a person I am willing to learn and prove myself to the team, I stay mature professional and respectful as much as I can, I always try my best to make my partners proud to say that they work with me. I know I can and WILL make FOX proud to have me as a member of their team. V. Do you have any additional information you want to add?: I would just like to mention that I know I can make some mistakes, and if I manage to make any, I am more than willing to make up for it as long as people don't stay silent about it and if the HQ tells me about anything wrong I did or even if it's something wrong with me as a person, I'll try my best to fix it. By posting this application, you are aware of our terms and that this application is only and only written by you, and states nothing but the truth. ! Super uber secret government intelligence test!
  19. I personally think that these long jailbreaks are fun, sometimes cops clear them and sometimes criminals are the ones having fun taking over the whole street. If you're truly worried about the money farm then the solution is reducing the reward for kill arresting so it's more encouraged to arrest them normally.
  20. @Pera98 said in Suggestion: "Role-play" handcuffs: I'm down for this but i'd suggest something on it, make it so that both players must agree that the crim is getting cuffed (meaning a cop doesn't just cuff anyone regardless if the person wants to RP or not, or wants to be given a chance to flee RP-wise) after that the cuffs had to be removed by the cop who put it, if he quits the server or dies. Also making it so that the cuffed player cannot be arrested to prevent random trainees from ruining a RP I agree with that ^ If it's for RP purposes then during the roleplay, both people should agree on it in the script itself, also making it so the person that's cuffed(if wanted) cannot be arrested by other cops is a good way to prevent any form of trolling. It would be appreciated if you add those bits to your suggestion, if you agree with them of course @Howlze

Since 2014 I think. How long have you been playing SAES: RPG: A few years, started around 2016. Do you have a ProCop diploma? If no, please specify why: No. Because I never really had a proper chance, I only came back to the server recently, I ruined it for myself before but I won't do it again, this time I'll work for it and do my best to get it. Previous G/S/C memberships and why you left THIS MUST BE IN DEPTH OR RISK DENIAL: San Andreas Police Academy: I left it because at that time there wasn't really anyone to play with, as a Cadet I was always asked to never patrol alone but most of the time there was no one and I felt alone, so a new roleplaying MC caught my interest and pulled me to it. Warlocks Motorcycle Club: We all became inactive and soon enough the gang was no more. Why do you wish to join the FBI: The formality and style caught my interest, I tried asking around to know more about it but I was ultimately ignored, I decided to come here and read this topic, and now I know this definitely suits me. Why should we accept you: I'm willing to prove myself to anyone that doubts me, I will do my best to show myself as a model FBI member, I have no history of toxic behavior(or misconduct) nor will I ever have any. I follow all FBI values and standards(ProCop diploma is an exception, but not for long) and I would become an Agent that the FBI can be proud of. Previous bans or admin jails THIS MUST BE IN DEPTH OR RISK DENIAL: None. What is deathmatching: Deathmatching is killing other players without valid reason, an example of such would be: A criminal killing an idling cop. State three server rules (F1): No deathmatching. No abusing bugs/cheating in any way. No marker killing/arresting. Are you allowed to deathmatch: Nope. STAGE 5 What are your English skills out of 1 to 10: 9/10 What are your driving skills out of 1 to 10: 7/10 What are your shooting skills out of 1 to 10: 8/10 What are your role-play skills out of 1 to 10: 10/10 What are your strengths: Good general knowledge about the game, such as locations/names etc. The ability to follow orders and be disciplined. Decent combat skills. What are your weaknesses: In behavior: Hastiness and sometimes joking too much, I can get easily distracted. In skill: Sometimes I struggle when it comes to driving fast vehicles and also team-fighting without clear orders/plans, I lack a bit of SAES knowledge but that's something that can be fixed with time.
