He's kind of true mate, in real life you won't even pay attention to your clothes, all you will care about is how you will escape safely and be free. So this idea is sort of useless to be honest, it should be taken realistic even if it is a game from the 2000s, otherwise it won't make sense.

Explain what is [4x4] role: AWD role is that to go on offroading with offroad vehicles and dirt bikes if we really want to have fun.
