  4. A dream comes true, project car What are cars for you? Are they only transport objects ? or maybe more? for me, cars are perfection, love to detail, innovation and much more. They are not only piece of metal. Personally, I love cars, I always wanted to have many cars and styling them in the way i like it. Of course it requires a lot of time and money. But that's what I love. I always wanted to have a Sultan as project car, I couldn't realize it before because i didn't have the required money. But as I started working at Cuban Cars, I earn a lot of money and can fulfill my dream. Today I saw a Sultan in good condition for solid price and made an appointment to see the car. We've met in San Fierro on a parking lot. The owner let me check everything and gave me enough time. I firstly checked under the hood, if the Front axle is in good condition and seemed like it was in pretty new. After checking under the hood, I checked the tires, it had not the best rims and tires, but I will change them anyway, so I checked if they're good to sell them for a good price, if not then i can get the car for lower price. Later I moved to the back, because the rear axle is important too, checked the whole axletree and it was in pretty good condition too. So I didn't want to take too much of his time as it seemed to be in overall a good condition. So we meet an agreement and I paid him right away. Because I was very hyped, I directly wanted to start working on it. A friend of mine has a garage and all the tools, I asked him to work on it there, because I didn't want to take a spot in the Cubans' garage as it is always full of customers. Before going to the friend's garage, I stopped at the Cuban garage and bought Bumpers, Side-skirts, tuning air filter, exhaust system, tires, rims, paint color and Spoiler. After loading everything into the vehicle, I headed to the garage. The vehicle had a solid amount of power, 326 HP but the engine needed a bit of re-build because it was around 7 years old. I thought that a exhaust system will push it up to 340-350 HP and that would be great. So I parked the car on the ramp and lifted it. Unplugged everything from the whole Exhaust system including the Exhaust Manifold. After mounting everything with the new Exhaust system, I thought about a test drive. I expected to feel a good improvement in acceleration but it was not the case. After thinking for few minutes, I made up my mind to buy other engine and make it even stronger. I thought about upgrading from V6 to V8. So I took my Pickup and drove to Whetstone to a good second hand parts shop. I found there a good V8 engine that would work in the Sultan, loaded it and drove back to the Garage. As it was an original V8 Sultan engine, It was pretty easy to mount it and make it work. After finishing everything with the engine, I started working on the look. I started with the front bumper, mounted it and the result was amazing, a more sporty and aggressive look. Continued with the rear bumper and spoiler. After mounting them, I lifted the vehicle a bit and mounted the new wheels. At the end, as I didn't like the white color, I decide to re-paint it. So i moved it from the ramp to the next garage and painted it. The result was amazing. After finishing everything, I let the computer run through the system to see if there are any errors, surprisingly there was no errors, I would've expected maybe a fuel pump error because the new engine requires a bigger pump for bigger amount of fuel to get pumped into it, but everything seemed to be fine. After finishing everything, the moment that I couldn't await has come. I drove out for a test drive. It was amazing feeling to own something special and which was a dream since young ages. That's why people, work hard for your dreams and make them true! Screenshots: [s=] [/s]
  5. Night shift - Taking care of contracts and impounding vehicles to clean the streets As the weekend ended, A working day has came. It was pretty good, because it was Monday and I had night shift. That means almost a third free day. But as the day was over and the night started, I had to start working. Today's contracts list wasn't that long. I waited on a parking on the side of the highway Las Venturas towards Los Santos, few moments later, I received a call. It was one of my mates, He said that he needs help turning his vehicle on, so I headed to San Fierro to help him out, after finishing it, he decide to come with me to Las Venturas and assist me there, as it was a busy night with much traffic. After arriving in Las Venturas, we saw a truck having problems, so we stopped and started fixing it, It was small problem, the Thermostat was broken and it caused high water temperature which caused smoking clouds coming out of the hood. So, I took my Toolbox and fixed it in few minutes, after fixing it, the water level was pretty low due to the overheat. I re-filled the water tank and the driver could continue his journey. After it, there was a customer which had some weird noises when turning into corners, I knew fast, that it could only be the Stabilizers, so I checked it and they were the problem. Luckily, a previous customer ordered the wrong parts and he didn't buy them, they ended up fitting in this customers vehicle. Finally when I repaired that vehicle too, another customer called me for inspecting his pretty new vehicles which his requirements were, a Experienced Mechanic can work on them only. So i went there and inspected his expensive vehicles. After it, I saw a mate impounding wrong parked vehicles, so I asked him if he needs help and he accepted the help. In the meantime impounding vehicles, there were some customer asking for quick help, Of course, I stepped out of the truck and helped them. There was a small accident, but the involved persons didn't want to call police, so I helped them quick fix the bumpers to not fall down while driving and they continued making a deal. Also a officer requested a help, his vehicle had oil leaks and smoked a lot, I found a fast repair but recommended him to visit as soon as possible a workshop of us. Screenshots: [s=] [/s]

  7. Offering Services on call and around Las Venturas Today, As I saw, the Cuban Cars were pretty much busy with many tasks at their workshops. So, I decide to help them and drive around San Andreas and offer mechanical services. It' seemed like a pretty busy day. The highways and streets were busy, I had to plan pretty precise to reach every customer as fast as possible. As there were many customers in Las Venturas, I focused on that city and tried to complete all the tasks. Firstly, I had customer near the "Starfish" Casino which I could pretty fast then headed to Las Venturas Cross, as I asked for the Customer's cooperation that they meet me there to get all the vehicles faster fixed. After fixing the few cars at Las Venturas Cross, the customer which had his car repaired at the "Starfish" Casino called me again and he said that his vehicle is on smoking again. I drove to him and found the significant error which caused all the problems. I fixed it and the customer was happy and I was available again to be called by the next customer. As none called me, I went to Las Venturas Cross and offered there my services again which had pretty much people asking for small not that important but errors which should be fixed. After the customers at the Cross in Las Venturas, I received no calls so i headed back to my Workshop and waited there for more calls. Screenshots: [s=] [/s]
