The current nametags probably contribute to it, but not by as much as you think. You have to remember that the game is displaying more entities it was originally designed for, especially at events where there are loads of vehicles and people within the same streaming area, before you even take into account the ui getting rendered on top of that.

Think you are getting confused, we didn't go out looking for this or contacting MTA about this, it was the other way around and we assisted them. I mean it's not that special, because it still got detected by them.
