you don't improve by having friends coming over reacting with "OMG AMAZING VIDEO I'M IN LOVE WITH IT!!" but rather by listening to feedback and trying follow others point of view. it's the key to progressing.

when making a promo you'll want to focus on adding as many details in the shortest time possible, my own standard is <150 second videos. while my videos may not be that good they should hopefully be progressing in quality from first to last.
