Hello, SAES community.

Jokerulty brought us here. We'd like to see the minimum cop requirement brought down to zero for the time being so criminals are able to still fulfill their needs without the presence of cops. At least until the activity rises again and balance is back in play.

This is both for bank and casino robberies.

I don't think this is the right solution for activities, especially for BRs. Dropping the minimum cop requirement to 0 won't make BRs more enjoyable. Bringing a BR with 0 cops online at 4 AM still won't make much of a difference, because even if there are no cops at first, they can simply log in. By the time the BR reaches the first or second door, three cops can easily be online, and with 8–10 defenders under the current door timings, there is almost no chance for the BR to succeed.

I think it should stay at a minimum of 5 active cops, but with a few adjustments to the door system. Make the doors open faster when there are only 5 cops online, while keeping the current scaling where the more cops there are, the faster the doors open. Right now, when there are only 5 cops, the doors are just way too slow.

To make BRs actually more enjoyable and fun, removing the minimum cop count requirement is not the way
Maybe drop the required amount from 5 to 3
Some changes can also be made to bank door system like doors always opening at one fixed pace, so slow/fast doors are not a matter of concern anymore

The problem isn't the number of police officers you'll start with in a BR, but rather the number available after the first door opens, as if every BR you perform is just a fluke. Therefore, I believe the ideal solution is to place each officer in solitary confinement for 180 seconds upon entry.

This is not a time for an exclusivity for BRs & CRs, that was long due. With the current player count, the remaining players SHOULD have the right to start their own bank robberies without relying on 5 cops activity quota. It will for sure take away that exclusivity feature, but people will atleast not hesitate to BR anymore(Maybe lower the quota drastically for CRs). Slow doors were invented because people got too good at cracking collectively (5 good crackers at once can end a BR in less than a minute without slow doors), but I don't think that matters anymore considering most of which have went inactive.
And remember, we don't have to be able to stop every BR there is. Some are just beyond stopping and that is completely normal. I have always seen the BR more appealing when TRYING to stop it, not actually stopping it. Even solo, you could wear your night goggles, flash and push in. (Applicable in county banks mostly, city banks are almost impossible to rush in solo unless you lag too good)

You're totally right, but I was focusing on making it faster than it is now, not just the "fast doors" or the first three doors. You could make an exception for the third door since the first one is the most important for cops during city bank robberies. But mate, the third door takes ages and I'm not exaggerating when I say ages. What I meant was introducing something new to the system. Okay let's say I agree with you 90% which is I really do or even let's make it 100%. What about adding a scaling system? The more cops log in during the bank robbery, the faster the doors become. It doesn't really make sense to start a bank robbery with only 5 cops so the doors are extremely slow. Then, after the first or second door, more cops log in but the third door still doesn't scale based on the current number of cops at the moment it's being cracked.
