[FORUM CHANGE] Spoilers - Potential Fix

I have found a potential fix for spoilers, especially ones that are nested or experience the duplicating bug.

The downside to this is that it would require us to change to a different spoiler module, this would break any spoilers on the forum already and would need to be converted to the new syntax to work correctly.

We don't have control over these modules, so before you pick no, remember that if you decide to keep the current one that's "broken", you'll have to live with the faults that come with it (I will be ignoring any moaning about it) and it was last updated by the developer 12 months ago...

Example syntax here:

Styling will be sorted, if the module gets approved.

Switching is obviously the right move.

Why would we want to keep a spoiler system which literally does not work?

Why would anyone be voting to keep a spoiler plugin which isnt being updated and is bugged?

Tired from all those times that spoilers got bugged or didn't work to begin with, Dont care about old ones anymore. Change it so that in the future we won't have to deal with broken spoilers

The gain is far greater than the loss here by switching to the new one.

Maybe though it would be possible to convert existing spoilers by wrapping the new syntax around them?
This would only be a bonus so if not possible I'd still go with the new one.

System should definitly be switched, atleast it will work as intended

Should indeed be changed.
Spoilers have always been an issue.

Might be some work if the things @Tut-Greco suggested in terms of converting the old spoilers doesn't work, but in the end it may result in a ( finally ) great working system.

A mistake confessed is half redressed. Switch. The old ones can stay the same and if anybody cares so much about how it looks, they can just fix a few pages back.

Spoilers will be switching over to the new plugin tomorrow morning.

You will have to change the syntax to

[s=]spoiler here[/s]

You can also add titles to your spoilers:

[s=spoiler title here]spoiler here[/s]

Here is a sample of the styling fixed and showing spoiler titles:
