Impounding Assistance, A little help may not cost all your energy, but it can help others a lot

As all of you know, there are many people out there that park like there's no rules. Especially in San Andreas, the drivers are reckless and not mindful. That's why, our job is to get those vehicles out of the streets. On this day, the streets were busy, many wrong parked vehicles, because there was a ceremony in the streets of Los Santos, we expected many visitors from other cities. That means even more wrong parked vehicles, many streets were closed, but the opened ones were pretty busy. So, we decide to focus on Los Santos only. There were other forces taking care of the other Cities, but only with 1 person per vehicle. In Los Santos we had to impound quick, to not make the roads even busier. We had one expensive vehicle too, and If you thought that rich people go to exclusive parking lots, not really. There are many parking reckless because they can afford paying daily parking bills. As the ceremony was over, the roads got busy and you needed hours to leave the city, so we headed through other roads to Las Venturas to avoid staying traffic jam. But as Las Venturas had one person working around, We just sat at Las Venturas cross and waited for tasks.

Helping hand in a new opened Workshop

As the Cuban Cars is the best rated and leading vehicle repairing company, We are expanding monthly. Every month, there are new workshops, car dealers and impounding stations. This time, we opened a new workshop right on the side of the highway Los Santos towards Las Venturas. As we expected many people coming by and visiting us, we had to assign bigger team of mechanics. I received the call to help too, I prepared my clothes and headed there. Already there were Mr.Jesse and Mr.Gal the experienced mechanics. I was there just to lend a helping hand, if there is need of. But as it was a Sunday, the expected numbers of visitors weren't reached. That's nothing disappointing, as we had enough visitors to make a lot of profit. We also had officer that came over and asked for our help. He heard that we will open at that day and as the Red County Police Department isn't that far, He decide to bring over a vehicle that has been crashed a little bit in a police chase, we managed to fix it within moments as there were only small damages on the hood and bumper. Overall a good day, much income and a lot of fun!

Reckless parkers must be moved out from the Streets

I don't really get it, how can people be so reckless and park wherever they want, even tho there are markers showing where you can park and where not. It is everyday a struggle getting all the vehicles that are wrongly parked out of the streets. It requires a lot of time and ends up seeing them parking again wrongly in few days, especially the rich people. As the impounding stations were full in every city and county. We had to drive long distance to drop off the vehicles, as we focused on Red County, we had to drive to Las Venturas, because it was the only one garage with free spots. Even from San Fierro had to drive to Las Venturas. The people need to learn to park properly, or it will get soon a big problem for us, we are already building monthly new stations and they get overwhelmed after days. Red County was today very busy and we had a lot of work, we impounded many vehicles but as we know the owners are rich, we will see them soon again wrong parked.

Offering Services on call and around Las Venturas

Today, As I saw, the Cuban Cars were pretty much busy with many tasks at their workshops. So, I decide to help them and drive around San Andreas and offer mechanical services. It' seemed like a pretty busy day. The highways and streets were busy, I had to plan pretty precise to reach every customer as fast as possible. As there were many customers in Las Venturas, I focused on that city and tried to complete all the tasks. Firstly, I had customer near the "Starfish" Casino which I could pretty fast then headed to Las Venturas Cross, as I asked for the Customer's cooperation that they meet me there to get all the vehicles faster fixed. After fixing the few cars at Las Venturas Cross, the customer which had his car repaired at the "Starfish" Casino called me again and he said that his vehicle is on smoking again. I drove to him and found the significant error which caused all the problems. I fixed it and the customer was happy and I was available again to be called by the next customer. As none called me, I went to Las Venturas Cross and offered there my services again which had pretty much people asking for small not that important but errors which should be fixed. After the customers at the Cross in Las Venturas, I received no calls so i headed back to my Workshop and waited there for more calls.

Night shift - Taking care of contracts and impounding vehicles to clean the streets

As the weekend ended, A working day has came. It was pretty good, because it was Monday and I had night shift. That means almost a third free day. But as the day was over and the night started, I had to start working. Today's contracts list wasn't that long. I waited on a parking on the side of the highway Las Venturas towards Los Santos, few moments later, I received a call. It was one of my mates, He said that he needs help turning his vehicle on, so I headed to San Fierro to help him out, after finishing it, he decide to come with me to Las Venturas and assist me there, as it was a busy night with much traffic. After arriving in Las Venturas, we saw a truck having problems, so we stopped and started fixing it, It was small problem, the Thermostat was broken and it caused high water temperature which caused smoking clouds coming out of the hood. So, I took my Toolbox and fixed it in few minutes, after fixing it, the water level was pretty low due to the overheat. I re-filled the water tank and the driver could continue his journey. After it, there was a customer which had some weird noises when turning into corners, I knew fast, that it could only be the Stabilizers, so I checked it and they were the problem. Luckily, a previous customer ordered the wrong parts and he didn't buy them, they ended up fitting in this customers vehicle. Finally when I repaired that vehicle too, another customer called me for inspecting his pretty new vehicles which his requirements were, a Experienced Mechanic can work on them only. So i went there and inspected his expensive vehicles. After it, I saw a mate impounding wrong parked vehicles, so I asked him if he needs help and he accepted the help. In the meantime impounding vehicles, there were some customer asking for quick help, Of course, I stepped out of the truck and helped them. There was a small accident, but the involved persons didn't want to call police, so I helped them quick fix the bumpers to not fall down while driving and they continued making a deal. Also a officer requested a help, his vehicle had oil leaks and smoked a lot, I found a fast repair but recommended him to visit as soon as possible a workshop of us.

A dream comes true, project car

What are cars for you? Are they only transport objects ? or maybe more? for me, cars are perfection, love to detail, innovation and much more. They are not only piece of metal. Personally, I love cars, I always wanted to have many cars and styling them in the way i like it. Of course it requires a lot of time and money. But that's what I love. I always wanted to have a Sultan as project car, I couldn't realize it before because i didn't have the required money. But as I started working at Cuban Cars, I earn a lot of money and can fulfill my dream. Today I saw a Sultan in good condition for solid price and made an appointment to see the car. We've met in San Fierro on a parking lot. The owner let me check everything and gave me enough time. I firstly checked under the hood, if the Front axle is in good condition and seemed like it was in pretty new. After checking under the hood, I checked the tires, it had not the best rims and tires, but I will change them anyway, so I checked if they're good to sell them for a good price, if not then i can get the car for lower price. Later I moved to the back, because the rear axle is important too, checked the whole axletree and it was in pretty good condition too. So I didn't want to take too much of his time as it seemed to be in overall a good condition. So we meet an agreement and I paid him right away. Because I was very hyped, I directly wanted to start working on it. A friend of mine has a garage and all the tools, I asked him to work on it there, because I didn't want to take a spot in the Cubans' garage as it is always full of customers. Before going to the friend's garage, I stopped at the Cuban garage and bought Bumpers, Side-skirts, tuning air filter, exhaust system, tires, rims, paint color and Spoiler. After loading everything into the vehicle, I headed to the garage. The vehicle had a solid amount of power, 326 HP but the engine needed a bit of re-build because it was around 7 years old. I thought that a exhaust system will push it up to 340-350 HP and that would be great. So I parked the car on the ramp and lifted it. Unplugged everything from the whole Exhaust system including the Exhaust Manifold. After mounting everything with the new Exhaust system, I thought about a test drive. I expected to feel a good improvement in acceleration but it was not the case. After thinking for few minutes, I made up my mind to buy other engine and make it even stronger. I thought about upgrading from V6 to V8. So I took my Pickup and drove to Whetstone to a good second hand parts shop. I found there a good V8 engine that would work in the Sultan, loaded it and drove back to the Garage. As it was an original V8 Sultan engine, It was pretty easy to mount it and make it work. After finishing everything with the engine, I started working on the look. I started with the front bumper, mounted it and the result was amazing, a more sporty and aggressive look. Continued with the rear bumper and spoiler. After mounting them, I lifted the vehicle a bit and mounted the new wheels. At the end, as I didn't like the white color, I decide to re-paint it. So i moved it from the ramp to the next garage and painted it. The result was amazing. After finishing everything, I let the computer run through the system to see if there are any errors, surprisingly there was no errors, I would've expected maybe a fuel pump error because the new engine requires a bigger pump for bigger amount of fuel to get pumped into it, but everything seemed to be fine. After finishing everything, the moment that I couldn't await has come. I drove out for a test drive. It was amazing feeling to own something special and which was a dream since young ages. That's why people, work hard for your dreams and make them true!

Another day, another happy customer!

It was a sunny morning, the shift started very good, less work and I thought, why not cleaning the Garage. As I finished sorting the tools. I received a call; it was the Police. They said that there was an accident on the road to Tierra Robada. They were there and cleared everything, my job was only to pick the damaged vehicle up and repair it. So, I prepared myself and headed there, it wasnt that far away. The police department also sent me a picture of the vehicle right after the accident, that was a proof for the Insurance company. When I arrived there, the vehicle was parked on the side and everything was clear, no police nothing. I parked in front of the car and checked the vehicle first. As I found no critical damage which would interrupt the towing to the garage. I moored the Rope and made sure the parking brake is off and the gear is in neutral. After checking everything is fine, I started driving to the garage. I parked safely the vehicle inside and the tow truck outside. After I checked every damage, the following parts were destroyed/damaged: Front Bumper, Intercooler, 2 Front Fog lights, Grilles, Radiator Supports, Front Fenders, Front Headlights, 4 doors inclusive the windows, Mirrors and the Windshield. After writing all of the damaged parts down, I asked a friend which has Parts Shop, luckily, he had all the parts and delivered them in around 30 minutes. After receiving all the parts I started working on it. First, I changed the Front bumper, following by the windshield, radiators, fenders and the mirrors. After replacing those parts I continued on the doors. Finished them fast because its just unplug, plug situation. Fixed everything and tested everything, run the vehicle software through the system and everything was fine. As last, I called the owner and told her that the car is ready to be picked up, the lady answered that she will be there soon. As I had nothing to do, I continued cleaning the garage until the lady came over and picked the car up, Of course she paid and took the keys and headed home. I would say, another day, another happy customer!

Helping hand - One call and a help is there

Calm and peaceful day, having a wonderful break with a ciggi in the mouth. Suddenly a call, it was a friend. He called me because he needed backup, the city was busy today and he was alone in the shift. Of course, I said that I will help him and handed him over my location, I finished my break until he came to me. It wasn't that long but enough. He thought that there will be big amount of calls and tasks, but it was not the case. We drove around Las Venturas and patrolled to see if someone requires our help, still everything all right. After driving around for some time, We decide to split, I went to my garage to continue working on a task which has no time span and I was ahead of the pick-up date. It was pity, that I couldn't help my friend but in the other hand, it was good that everything ran smooth today in the city without problems.

Teamwork for quality work!

The shift started... It was very calm on the streets of San Fierro, no calls, no expected busy roads with possible crashes. After started driving around, I was hungry, so I decide to go grab some fast food. Arrived at the burger shot, went inside and bought some food, headed outside, and drove to a Parking. Parked the vehicle and started unpacked my meal. Grabbed the first piece and suddenly the phone ringed. I opened and saw it as an Employee of Cuban Cars. Help was requested, so I packed my food back in the bag and started driving to him. On the way there, I checked my laptop and there was a report for an accident on the highway, San Fierro to Whetstone. That was important for me to know at least a little bit what happened, I realized there was a Construction on the highway which started last week. After arriving there, I headed to the Mecanico and talked about the situation, he explained that he needs me to help him tow one vehicle and the other one is in the functional condition that I could drive it to the garage slowly. I followed him there and parked my tow truck on the side because it wasn't needed. First, we checked the situation and made a plan on how we will tow the vehicle on the DFT-30. It was quite hard because it was a bridge and the lanes are really narrow. After finishing the plan, we took the ropes and everything and luckily succeeded fast. We towed the vehicle that wasn't in a driving condition and the second vehicle which just had visual damages was driven by me to the Cuban garage with warning lights. When we arrived, we parked in the court and as the customer wished, we started working on them the same day.

Assistance in these times is more required than ever

The shift started very calm, It was already 5 pm and the day started long time ago. I was working in my workshop on customers vehicles the whole day. Changed few tires because of the season change, everyone wants to have secure and new tires on their vehicles. So, I changed few and then I received a call from Afufu, he is the Impounder in Cuban Cars. He said that if I was able, I could assist him. So, I went there and assisted him, but because there was a lot of work, he called mechanics to help too. The day went smoothly as we were many people and finished all the jobs fast and secure.

Day or Night, We are here for help!

Pretty calm day, had night shift. As the sun started going down, I knew it's time to prepare for work. I prepared my vehicle and changed outfit, said good bye to the family. Started the engine and as the plan says, I had to head to the highway "Las Venturas towards Los Santos". I turned my vehicle on and started driving, one of the supervisors of the shift called me. It was MarksMan, he said that I have to hurry up because a customer called that he will come over as he had a crash and needs his car to be repaired this night. As I arrived, there was other customer which was already paying and driving out. I waved at him while going out and then started cleaning the garage. From the co-workers that worked on the previous vehicles, they left all the wrenches and toolbox on the floor or near the lifting platform. After cleaning and sorting the toolbox, the car arrived that I had to repair. It was a Merit from 2001 year. I didn't know if we had the parts here, so I opened in our computer and checked what we have and if it is possible to repair everything here, luckily we had everything, I went up to get everything moved on repairing. The vehicle was in pretty good condition and all the bolts were easy to get them off. I started with repairing the bumper and hood. The bumper had to be replaced and the hood just a little bit of work. After finishing hood and bumper, I moved the car down from the lifting platform and replaced the doors. Finally, as I finished with repairing it, I parked it outside and went in the garage to do the bill.

In the cold times, working inside is a blessing

Shift start, the night was starting slowly and by that, the shift start was coming near. I headed to the garage and started my shift, the bad thing was, I forgot my chip which I have to login at the system that I came to work with. So, I headed to the manager of the today's shift @MarksMan and asked him to do it for me. He did it for me and I started working. First, I saw there was a chopper which was fixed and had to give invoice to the customer, I took care of it and did a invoice for him, he received it and left the garage. After that the Shift manager wanted to test the vehicle we were working long on. It got finished today after many changes and fixes. So, I asked him if I can join him at the test drive. We headed and drove few kilometres and the vehicle seemed to be all good, so we headed back to the garage. When we arrived, I went up in the warehouse and started sorting stuff, It was kinda mess because of the latest tasks which were pretty much too much of work for us and we couldn't take care of the warehouse. When I finished sorting the parts, I went to the lounge and asked one customer that waited for his vehicle, if he we wants something to drink or eat, he refused so I went to the PC area and started doing some paperwork.

Covering San Andreas, with quality and professional mechanic

A very bad start for the company, there was no customers and no stuff to do. The shift started bad already. I went in the workshop and saw that all the lifts are empty. That means, I have time to clean and sort all the parts and paperwork. I started off with the working bench, sorted all kind of tools and then headed to the Computer. Prepared all the invoices for the past days and sent them out to the customers. At the night, suddenly I became a call, it was the police. They said, there was an abandoned vehicle after a accident and that we should tow it to the workshop. So, I headed to the Shift Manager @MarksMan, and asked him if I could take the tow truck and get the vehicle. He gave me the keys and I went there, it was a car in very bad condition, but it was still able to get towed with the smaller truck and not loaded on a truck. So, I took it and drove back to the workshop. There we inspected the vehicle and parked it outside, so the customer can call when he's stabilized in hospital and tell us what to do with it. After parking it outside, I headed back inside and was waiting for new customers.

Roleplay #5

Participants: @beauty @nCov @Lou-2 @WenDo @ZoRo

Story: We had an car waiting for repair in Cuban Cars SF Garage. It had problems with engine, hood, trunk and doors. I fixed the engine hoods lock (problems opening it), and the engine. Engine had problems (run only with 3 cylinders of four). I changed the ignition coil into engine, and it started to work well. Onto hood lock i put some oil to get it working again. We did the test drive with @nCov , and it felt good to handle it, and engine were running well. All seems to be ok this time.

Helping hands for the Cuban friends

The other day, I've prepared my working clothes and wanted to go to my own workshop. Suddenly I got called by a friend which asked me for help as he was short on workers at the moment. Of course, I headed to his workshop instead of mine to help out as I had less work at the moment and could delay it for the next days.

After arriving at the workshop, I saw a black Mustang in front of it with few damages. I went inside and talked with my friend Youssef about the vehicle and it's damages. Shortly after me, Joakito arrived too, with him we inspected the vehicle and the damages, because sometimes the damages could be bigger than you see at first sight. Joakito took a notebook and wrote everything down, there were no serious damages in the chassis, so we proceeded to checking our storage if we could scratch all the parts without ordering and waiting.

Turned out that Youssef had everything in his garage, therefore we started working on the car. I started with the front and Joakito with the rear. I had to dismount the Front bumper including Grill and Badge, hood and the two headlights as the glasses were broken and we did not want to spend time on replacing the glasses.

In meantime Joakito finished with the back where he replaced the bumper, rear camera, badge and trunk. After finishing everything, we tested the vehicle and parked it in front of the workshop where it was picked up few hours later by its owner. The total work took us roundabout 4 hours including searching parts and testing the vehicle. At end, we cleaned the workshop and the part where we worked and I headed back to my workshop.

Assisting at night shift impounding

This night shift myself and few more mechanics assisted Afufu, because the city was very crowded and he had a lot of vehicles to impound. He called us to help him out and we did it. It was a bit stressful because of incidents with the people which get their car impounded, but overall it was very fun.
