It depends on the gang. For example for OC, 1/8 is successful lately but 7/8 is fail for AA.

With the current difficulty of bank robs, less than 8/8 is a failure.

srsly for my opinion
if u have enough deff and the bank is restarted and u didn't complete 8/8 safes = FAIL even 7/8 is fail ( if u got crackers fault )
if crackers/deff got arrested ( because of deff "maybe" ) its not fail for me :DDD

Successful bank rob is only 8/8. Failed bank rob is 0/8. Everything in between is neither failed, nor successful. It's just "done bank rob".
