How long you have been playing: I started off in 2020 and I went inactive in 2023 due to university and in-real life challenges. But I am active again and will remain so.

Your strengths: I believe my main strength in relation to this role is my genuine willingness to help others. While I primarily log in to play as a police officer—and particularly enjoy my role as an Impounder—I often find myself with gaps of free time where I can assist others. This was especially true during my time in the HQ roles of SAFD, SAI, and SAFP, where I was always engaged in addressing members' concerns and offering support. Leading the creation of BRINKS has been a significant experience for me; it taught me invaluable lessons about patience and the extensive effort required to develop and sustain a project from the ground up (and made me go broke too). In addition to my commitment to assisting others, I prioritize building a trustworthy and inclusive environment for everyone I interact with. Being multilingual allows me to connect with a broader range of people, and I always exercise communicating in a language that resonates with them, allowing me to effectively address their needs and concerns. Furthermore, I have consistently maintained an active presence on the SAES forums and I regularly monitor Discord activity as well, ensuring that I am aware of the happenings in the server, allowing me to improve my understandings of the SAES server and it's community. Moreover, I want to add that since I am situated in the city of Vancouver, I fall into a late time zone, which would make me available to sort out SAHA auctions, as well as inactive property requests during the dead hours of the server, usually between 23:30 and 04:00 server time. 

Your weaknesses: Even though I monitor the discord, I sometimes feel like I am living under a rock, and I have no idea what happens, especially when it comes to the computer techy stuff. I am too direct with my problem-solving approaches, and I have been criticized as to the way I handle situations, with some calling me to quick to decide, and some claiming I lack patience. I may sometimes get irritated by PM's, especially since I have reduced the number of chat lines that I have to compensate for a smaller screen size and resolution.

Reason for application: I think the role of SAHA will teach me how to value things and the responsibilities it encompasses. It will show me how to engage further with the SAES community and multi-task, and I say this because as I play as SAPA/Impounder, I do indeed tryhard sometimes and may lose respect for other players, which affects how I interact with the game. The SAHA role will teach me to interact with all players and I feel that whatever I may learn from adopting this role, may help me after I graduate in Economics.

Additional information: My name is Ali, and I am an international student from Kenya and I am pursuing an Economics degree with a data analysis concentration alongside a business minor. I am a single child, so luckily, my beautiful parents are able to send me to Canada to pursue higher education. I moved to Canada when I was 18, and growing up, I was really into football, going to the gym, badminton and swimming and I had a passion for game hunting. However, after coming to Canada, I have not found time to play sports as I have to work part-time to bear my living expenses while studying simultaneously. I speak 6 languages and I am fluent in 3 of them. I would love a simple life and I want to graduate and have a simple job and just be able to have a decent job, support my parents and have a family.
