As the title says, minigames script based on challenges between 2 players.
The idea was originally taken from the singleplayer mode where the player is able to challenge a npc into a lowrider, 8-pool game or dance game for money, so why not bringing it into SAES especially because server sometimes gets empty or boring at nights to be more specific, it seems like something fun to do and can't be interrupted if well controlled from the scripting point.
The idea consists of 3 concepts seperated;
1)8-POOL:
As written above, the 8 pool minigame was first created in GTA SA and GTA 4, you go to a bar and you set an amount of money to bid on, the game starts and whoever wins takes the money home.
in MTA, the concepts remain the same, you go to the bar, you approach the table and you see a list of players who are ingame, of course they should not be wanted, and their money has to meet the amount set, here is an example.
the 8 ball concept works as the following:
the first one to score a ball will have the type of balls (either a little bit of white or full white with a little bit of color).
the game continues until one of them scores all his balls and only left with the black, if he scores the black one without scoring the white afterwards, player wins.
if one of the players score the black ball before scoring all his other balls, player loses.
2)GOLF:
Golf game wasn't originally in GTA SA but it was first made in GTA 4, it's still a competitive minigame, MTA script is the same as the pool game, you select a player based on the players who aren't wanted in the server, both player will start shooting golf balls following this concept:
if he scores after <=2 tries then Birdie.
if he scores after >2 and <=3 then Par.
if he scores with something >3 then Boogey.
the more birdies a player has, the more his chances to win.
3)Lowriding:
Challenge was first made in GTA SA, don't know if it was re-introduced in GTA 5 or not, however in the following concept, you need to enter the zone in the radar with a lowrider type of car with the player you want to play against sitting in the passenger seat using the following command `/invite amount'.
once the player writes `/accept`, he gets warped into a random lowrider car, both player will then have to spam their numpad until the event is over.
player with the highest score will win the money they first set aka the amount, if both players have the same score, then its a draw, if one has more than the other, then that's the winner.
4)Duels:
Duel is a minigame that was never introduced in the past GTAs, it consists on 2 players playing against each others, the one that has the most kills wins the game and takes the money, weapons and amount of money can be selected when entering one of the skulls pickups which can be found around the map of SA as you can see in the following;
Once a player uses one of the pickups, a list of available player, not wanted ones can be found, with an amount to set and a weapon to play with.
once you select the player, he will receive an invite telling him he got invited into the match, in order to accept, the player who got invited has to write `/duel` to warp into the match zone.
the duel remains for a minute, once a minutes passes, the winner will be declared based on his score(times he killed his opponent), if inviter score is superior than the player who got invited, inviter wins the event and takes the money, if not, the player who got invited takes the money and wins.
