Earlier this week I got a call from my buddy @JiirakDaniel. His construction company had ran out of fuel. As the weather was bad, his usual supplier had issues getting his hands on it. I preheated the engine of my fueler and filled it up. Underway I saw stranded cars left and right. It'd never taken more time to get to las venturas from blueberry as today.

Upon arrival I saw a lot of men diggin with shovels. Upon asking the manager, all excavators had run dry by now. He gave me a clipboard with instructions on where I could find the vehicles and which had priority. After an hour of hard work the job was done and they could continue more efficiëntly with their now refueled excavators! Jiirak signed the paperwork and I went back to Blueberry.

It was a quiet night on the highway, the full moon casting its glow over the empty road and the flickering lights of a gas station. The refueling driver had stopped briefly to check his tanker when he noticed a sleek red car parked near the entrance, its hazard lights cutting through the darkness. Next to it stood a tall man, visibly frustrated, peering under the hood.

The refueling driver approached and calmly offered his assistance. The man, who introduced himself as Kellerman, explained that he suspected an engine problem since the car had suddenly died after making strange noises. The refueling driver inspected the car, carefully checking the connections and attempting to start the engine. With a knowing smile, he explained that the issue wasn’t mechanical—it was simply out of gas.

Embarrassed, Kellerman admitted he hadn’t noticed the empty fuel gauge. Without hesitation, the refueling driver returned to his tanker truck, filling the car’s tank just enough to get to the next station. Grateful, Kellerman thanked him with a handshake and a smile before starting the car and driving off into the night.

Watching the red car fade into the distance, the refueling driver climbed back into his truck, satisfied. Sometimes, he thought, even small acts of help can make a big difference.

Story:

As I cruised through the streets of Las Venturas, my phone buzzed with an incoming call. Auraphase's name flashed on the screen. Without hesitation, I answered, his voice low and urgent on the other end. He gave me an address, dropped it straight into my DMs, and made it crystal clear—this delivery was strictly between him, me, and his crew, Arm Assasin. The job was off the books, and by the tone of his voice, I knew it wasn’t exactly legal. But the payout? He promised it would be worth the risk.

I swung the wheel and headed for the drop point. The location was dimly lit, shadows pooling between the buildings. There, waiting for me, were the crates. They looked heavy, and when I hauled one into the bed of my truck, my suspicions were confirmed—it was no featherweight cargo. Auraphase’s instructions echoed in my mind: Don’t peek. Just deliver.

The weight of curiosity tugged at me, but I shook it off. Some things are better left unknown.

With the cargo secured, I slipped back behind the wheel and drove off into the night, the hum of the engine drowning out my thoughts. My destination was clear. My task was simple. All that mattered was getting those crates into Auraphase's hands—and staying one step ahead of trouble.
