General shades are 5 GBP while custom ones are 10 GBP. Since vehicles are 10 GBP each, if you don't put a shade on the "vehicle 2" you can request a 3rd vehicle. Or as you said, you can donate an extra 5 GBP for the 3rd vehicle.
