You didn't ask, but we delivered anyway! With this patch, comes a slight change in the reward system for turfing in order to make it more engaging and rewarding for gangs that login and actively fight over turf zones!
For those that aren't aware, the current turf system rewards gangs 100k when they take a turf and removes 100k when they lose it making the reward from actively turfing essentially non existent aside from personal enjoyment.
To address this issue, the reward system has been changed from a static reward to a gradual reward. This means that the longer you hold a turf, the more money you get each hour.
Values and figures
Initial reward for taking a turf: $30,000
Hourly Base Pay: $10,000
Hourly Modifier: 1.2%
Maximum Income: $50,000
With these current figures, the hourly income is as followed:
1 hour: 12,000
2 hours: 14,400
3 hours: 17,280
4 hours: 20,736
5 hours: 24,883
6 hours: 29,859
7 hours: 35,831
8 hours: 42,998
9+ hours: 50,000
The numbers as per usual, are subject to changed based on turf activity or if gangs are found to be exploiting the system in any way.
Similar to how BR stats are done, theres now a backend system in place to observe turf activity too. This means you can expect regular feedback on organisations which have turfed the most and/or held turfs the longest. These analytics will also be taken into Gang Management activity counts too.
