Taser And Silencer Pistol

  • I was really thinkin about this since long time.
    The suggestion about; We can use taser when we change mode, And when if we want use that as silenced we gotta do same think as that. Like pistols and rifles auto and semi mode in real life. We would change it button or with keybind for it. Or you can try to let the cops use taser and glock at same time
    Because glock is very popular pistol for cops in movies in real life and in my view glock makes american police cop.
    I hope this is gonna be usefull and good advice.
    And i actually got this idea after reading @Scorpyo scorp's shotgun suggest.

  • I agree with PunchLine. It would be great, to use the silenced pistol as normal silenced.. not as tazer. Also in the Ammu-Nations we would buy Silenced instead of tazer.

  • Instead of that, I'd just add a simple pistol to the PC spawns. For the shotgun suggestion which @PunchLine mentioned:

    I do agree with that one, as you can simply reload the shells, but when it comes to the tazer it is specifically made to shoot out a dart. So instead of "changing modes" we just have another gun.

    Trainees already dm enough, so I think this should be restricted to PC only.

  • The issue is the taser replaces the silenced pistol, so getting the regular silenced pistol back is not possible.

    wont be doable by replacing a map object with the taser and then using bone attachments with a command?

  • That would resolve the issue with the model itself, but not with the damage, clipsize and rate of fire

  • How about two different commands with two separate cooldowns, one providing the user with a single bullet of pistol and the other command provides a single charge of taser? That way entirety of existing ammo simply adds to new weapon type, if for example each cooldown has 1min period, player could switch from taser to pistol using the first /command and swiftly change back to taser using the second /command while being unable to do so again for a minute to prevent misuse or ammo farming.

    While this doesn't add two different types of ammo for the same weapon, could it solve the 1 handgun limit issue?

  • tbh there is no use for a regular 9mm pistol on cop side, only thing that would achieve is making a cop driver capable of shooting while driving but I don't see any other proper use of it.

    probably you forget when you start playing SAES RPG you was A Trainees.

  • What you could do, is make either the colt or deagle have two modes. Enable the mode on the PD team to get it into taser mode. Could replace it with a general weapon mod that looks like a taser, but a gun as well.

  • Cops need to arrest not kill. If they want to kill they can use the M4

  • How about allowing the taser to everyone? That would be funny 🙂

  • I'd prefer the old taser with 1 shot per second 😛

  • @Blade Right, In real life; u cannot shot only one charge at 1 gun. And it would be very fair for criminals.

  • Cops can use smg as silenced pistol wont cause that much damage, In my opinion I think this would be useless.
