The Desert Eagles is built up from a handful of units, all of these have different specialties and abilities. So if you are bad at flying there are always two other options, so everyone can show themselves from their best side. Once you join the Desert Eagles you will be assigned to the unit that suits you best. This is most fun for yourself, and most tactical when battling opponents. Each of the units have special testing designed for the units specifically. This way we have to make sure you are at your very best before you can join one of the units. Before facing those tests you have to serve a month as a recruit, which is your probation period.

Recruit

This is the spawn that you will be added to when you join the Desert Eagles. This spawn only gives you access to the basic vehicles and functions the Desert Eagles army features. You will stay in this unit for a period of at least one month. In that time you will be trained for all the available units. After all the unit leaders have seen your skills, they will divide you among the units. After that same month you qualify for a test of that same unit. Besides your fighting skills we also take a look at your sense of discipline. For that we have set up a list of rules; ‘The military contract and obligations of the San Andreas army’. If you break any of those within your probation period, you will be removed from the Desert Eagles army.

Besides fighting this unit helps with the deployment of ground troops and scouting for intelligence and providing an eagle eye for ground troops. Moreover, transportation and quick escapes for ground troops is something they can do without problems. This unit has specially designed tests for the recruits to prove their worth.

This unit is the marine unit of the Desert Eagles army. The marines in this unit are specialized in fighting on and around waters. They are trained not to see water as an obstacle but as an advantage instead. They have access to all of the boats the army features, reaching from Predators to Coastguards. This unit, unlike other units, is based in Easter Basin, the San Andreas Navy base. The naval unit has access to nearly all the planes and helicopters based at that facility. The vehicles here are colored in the traditional naval grey, to provide a better camouflage for the environments where they are used in. This unit cooperates with the coast guard for safety operations in case of floods and other incidents. As newly established, this unit now has its own subdivision of Naval Air Force, in which specially trained and qualified Naval Soldiers have access to fighter jets and provide Air Support. As for the other units this unit also has tests to prove your worthiness for the unit.

The special forces is the most restricted class in the Desert Eagles army. In order to qualify for this unit you have to perform very good in each unit's skillset. When you have the skills you have the chance to be chosen by the Special Forces leader for testing, this rarely happens. This unit has access to all the vehicles the Desert Eagles feature. They also have a handful of unit own vehicles. This unit has access to a set of special weaponry, featuring a dual tec-9 and remote explosives. The role of this unit is to execute operations unnoticed and completely off the radar. For that reason further information is classified.
